My dad got a sub woofer(I don't know if I'm spelling it right, but oh well) about a week ago and I just got to try it out on Saturday night. It is AWESOME! Anyone who can get it, get it! It is about $300. A big difference between non-sub woofer LISF and sub woofer LISF. It is such a good and big difference, especially on the Stu's bass solo.
Stu Not Boo-Thanks.

Oh I forgot, I saw "The Hot Chick" yesterday with Rob Schneider. It was REALLY funny. Hilarious. Go see it. I can't WAIT to see LOTR2! Counting down the days. Then on Saturday or Sunday we're leaving for Syracuse, NY then to Interlaken, NY. Can't wait! Byebyebye ~*~Leanna~*~

Did anyone figure out which model trem-setter Vai is currently using? I know that Ibanez put the standard one on the early S-type guitars, like the one on the cover of NOTE. Can you still bounce the bar with these installed? It doesn't seem likely.

Mick 87 - thanks for checking out the tune. I'm glad you liked it. The chord progressions we use are the same as Neil Young, E, D,& C for the verse, & G, D, C, E for the chorus, & A for the turn arounds after each chorus. Since there are 2 guitarslingers in XS( Doug Martin - rhy. guit. & my self - lead) doug plays straight power chords throughout the verse & I use triad voicings of E-, Dmaj & Cmaj. Durning the chorus we both play power chords. As for the leads in that tune I improvise them so its a little different every night. I usually start off with an e minor scale then move through c lydian & D mixolydian modes, & throw in the coresponding arpeggio's. It's a fun & easy tune to rock out on, I hope this helped. Thanks again for listening.

Guitarcake - I'll dig up those files & send them. I got the power tab editor off mikesguitarsite.uk(I think that's the right address)

Invigor - is it too late to join the T2J merry axemas??? If I can still get in on it, put me down for The First Noel. Email me to let me know where & how to send the files.

Mega Boyd - Thanks for the post.

JSClone 1 - sorry to hear they cut you off. But at least you feel good about the performance.

Matt King - any word on the Joe Tribute page???

MrNick One of my friends has gta3 and i had a go at flying the dodo round at his house once, i managed to fly it off the runway and crash it into the sea, but! there was some kind of glich and i ended up flying undernearth the sea until i was dumped back on the runway and it said i flew the 38 seconds! :-D which was nice...
I've been learning the CrossRoads guitar duel, heh, well i've skipped through the sweeping at the start and have gone onwards from the fast licks after that :-P But, does anyone have any tips on doing the reallyyyy high bend at the end? I've been learning it off a powertab file that i downloaded and it says the bend is at the 29th fret (????) on the top e-string, does anyone have any ideas how i could do this? lol thanks for any help :-D .........Joe Rules........

crystal planet...haha....i can fly the tank easily...with the plane...i took off heading ouit to sea...but after a while..it crashed in the sea..but it did something wierd and i cant remember where i ended up..but it said i flew for 56secs

and the crossroads duel..29th fret..lol....perhaps the trem is set differently or the e-string is a different gauge and is tuned very high..and so it would be the equivalent of the 29t fret in standard tuning

XcrystalplanetX - to get that note you have to fret the string against the neck pick up. Depending on the type of guitar you have, you might not be able to do this. I can do it on my strat, but can't fret the note on my steinberger or kramer. You'll have to experiment to get the right sound.

For the 29th fret, you can always just do it an octave lower,OR do a harp harmonic.Left hand plays the 17th fret, with your R.h index finger, lightly touch where the 29th fret would be,use your middle finger and thumb to pick a note, and voila.

the tab would look like this:

harm.
E--------17(29)-----------}

Check out Eric Johnson,Steve Morse, and Chet Atkins for more stuff like that.

Hey thanks for all the help on the 'mystery 29th fret' lol Wow, good pole today, what breaks a heart really is an amazing emotional song, but, the uptempo part before the solo just seems sorta, cheesy to me :-/ so love thing has my vote :-D Love thing-5 What Breaks A Heart-1 ..........Joe Rules...........
