Ovation 1 That's certainly good news. lol.
MegaBoyd Okay, I'll stop arguing James' case, each to his own type of music.
theduke2099 If you want to see Steve Vai's trem setter, you can see it in something on his site called "all about Evo". Find it here. One thing I didn't realise until I saw this - Steve's main guitar is actually falling apart!

r6r - the only major river around here is the Thames but this far west it is not that wide... however where I live now is riddled with small streams, rivers and lakes that all end up flowing into the Thames... as a result, there are a pile of small valleys so the rain runs off of the valleys and floods all of the rivers and lakes.... I live in Berkshire... it's a pretty county...
ovation - good news about your mum-in-law.... best wishes..
h302 - looks like EVO has been in a car crash....

Phydeaux - Joe is up in the mountains with the Vai's. NO access to computers.
Kda - I've seen half of 12 Monkeys. I guess I came in half way through. It made absolutely no sense... so then I wanted to jump off a cliff or something.
Mr Nick - I know how the cabbage patch kid is feeling about once a year.
Clarky - Did you by any chance see that entertainment festival that was put on for the Queen? I LOVE British humour. I always have. There was this one comedian who had me howwwwwling. He was on at about 12:10am after New Years. It was a repeat of the festival. You don't know his name by any chance do you? He did bits about how Britain is just Britain or Alright Britain. It GREAT BRITAIN. Also about how the train ride from Britain (he starts skipping making putting and popping noises)to France is slow. Then when you reach France, the train is screaming fast (he starts screaming and sprinting across the stage). Man this guy was hilarious. HIS NAME?

JOE!! Can you do a jazzy album for your next one? I somehow got a hold of Lum Lum and that proves that you've got the mad skills involved for doing jazz...and it sounds so damn cool

Clarky, waking up in the wrong country? Oooh, hate when that happens. lol! Guess I'll just have to be satisfied rolling that cartoon in my head since your hands are full. Hey, how about a designated camera guy who stays just sober enough to remember he has a video camera in his hand? Nah, that'll never work...or would it??
Ovation, glad your mum-in-law is feeling better. Real food is soooo much better that an IV.

guitarcake..use the CAGED system..Basically, the chords of C A G E and D are the main major and minor shapes on the neck. There are variations od these in minor7's and major9's etc....but thats another story. Th e 5 basic chord shapes..use the major ones cos there the easiest and virtually everything starts with major scales./chords. difficult to tell you the shapes on here, try a search on Google for stuff on the CAGED system :)

for your sound do you use an overdrive (ie Tubescreamer) distortion/fuzz; or simply turn up the amp? I am trying to recreate the sound when I attempt to play Always.
Thanks. I am using an old Music Man Tube Amp.
