I think Joe should make a CD called "Out of this world" instead of "Not of this earth". LOL:-D

Ifeel like stealing Jeff's towel and selling it on E-bay

AARGH, Broken fingernails! Here's a tip to everyone, don't play classical guitar, stick to stuff where you can use a plectrum, and don't have to grow long fingernails!

Happy 100 LGU89

H302 - Supposed to scotch tape your finger nails for practice with classical and take the tape off for the live shows. I prefer short finger nails for classical.

Narface - I don't go back to school until January 27th. I love long vacations. :-)

LGU89 - Happy 100! I'm not sure how tall Jeff is, but Joe isn't as tall as most people think. Click here to see a picture of Joe and myself from 7/1/01 (ignore the security guy on the far left...LOL). I'm 6'4" and the very top of my head is cut off in the photo. I guess that would make Joe about 5'6" or 5'8".

JSClone1 Really? I never heard that one. I'll have to try it some day. Anyway, I never seem to get a decent sound with short nails. But then again, I can't climb properly with long ones. Oh well, you can't wim 'em all!

Hey Joe! Happy new year to all! So, you started playin' guitar at the age of 14... well beat you by four years, but still not quite as good as i could have hoped for! Havin' taught myself everything i know i'm lacking in something - who knows what! but have you any tips? cant quite afford to come to the states and study havin just shelled out loads on a new amp havin electrocuted myself, shorting out the street, and causing no end of panic whilst blowing my old one up - but hey, life's a bitch so i jus get on with it! Love the music! keep it coming! regards, Jaymz....

G3 with JP in UK, well, Joe, if it attracts you, we've had about 2 inches of snow here recently! (Hollow laughing) Damn it, we haven't had any decent snow since I was in year 7, and I was 12 then. Oh well, we obviously need G3 to cheer us all up, then..............(more hollow laughing) LOL everyone.

Joe - Glad to hear you are taking some time for fun! We will be boarding at Northstar in 2 weeks. Can't wait! My 8 year-old son will be seeing you for the first time ever at Konocti on 2/2/03. We will be on your side of the stage in the second row of tables. He is so excited, he is counting the days. We were saying the other day that we would love to hear "Hill Groove" live. I'll be at the Sacramento, Fillmore (Fri. night), and of course at the Konocti gigs. See you then!

Joe - Vary the setlist. HELL YES. About a month before the tour started, people threw all sorts of songs in they would LOVE to hear.

Time Machine, The Mighty Turtle Head, Back to Shalla Bal, Ceremony, Crazy, etc... etc...

Joe, there are so many songs people miss.

The one thing - That would be the biggest change - In your set, TRY BRINGING BACK THE LIVE TONE AND EFFECTS YOU USED TO USE IN THE LATE 80's, EARLY 90's. That would really blow my socks off.

I think.. no, I KNOW it would just make everything sound so interesting, especially the older tunes that people are hurting to hear live.

I hope this post catches your eye, Joe.

joe - do throw in more old songs, time machine, engines of creation (if possible) and time machine would be great, but do surprise us. I really hope you come round to England with any G3 tour you might be doing. Rock on!
