trutina, think of the money you'll be saving by not blowing all that money on smokes. Here in PA, a pack of Newport, Marlboro, ect...are up over $4.50!! Can't imagine the price in NY. Guess everybody is smoking generics? I started when I was 12 - quit when I was 18. Best move I ever made. After a pack a day for 3+ years, my lungs were shot. Guarenteed you'll feel soooo much better in a few months, just keep going! Good luck!!

Thanks everyone... fibre 'n' walking.... yeah!!!!!
After seeing that guy's homemade guitar (he's Belgian. not Dutch btw) I'm (as they say where I come from) 'well up for it' now! I'm getting ready (funds permitting, of course!) to try my first neck. Bodies are (IMO) easy - just bandsaw em, sand em, and chisel em. Finishing I leave to better people (hi Naty!). I've never built a neck, so I'm keen to give it a go. Hopefully I'll remember to take some before during and after pics too!!! Who posted a link to a custom guitar builder about a week ago? Zacahry or something? Was it you Nick? I was thinking of doing a body shape like a cross between that and a Kubicki Factor bass, but not I'm not so sure.... and I think I'll go for a left-handed Wilkinson trem, in black chrome of course.. and locking Gotoh tuners and Kent Armstrong pickups, and... and... and... and... OK I think I need a lie down!

js clone1...downloaded the following songs off your site :
suspended thought - nice little acoustic piece.
blues tribute jem - very bluesy...sound quality not all that great but still good despite it been live.
metal demo - some cool riffs in there.
that picture on the other site...have you elongated your fingers or something?..lol
your videos on the other site, the taping one, short but sweet..hehe and the other 2 videos..well...hmm...did your fingers break the sound barrier during some of those solos? cos they were really good :)

Mr Nick- Isn't it just amazing with languages that allow FOUR L's in a row? LOL
Guitarcake- Very good choice for SOTD, I just love that song! One question though, who's playing the guitar? I believe it's not Gary Moore, at least not in the live version I've got. And is it the guitarist's name they're shouting at the end of it? I just can't figure out what they're saying, anybody knows?

Cube - Thanks A LOT for checking all my stuff and commenting.
Mr Nick - Thanks for checking all that stuff out. I do not know why my fingers look so long in that picture but it's been commented on before. It was in the middle of a guitar solo so the film might've blurred or something.
The pickshred is easier than it sounds/looks.
Thanks again for checking all that stuff.

You rang?
sorry guys,I'm ok,just had to go to California for my grandfathers funeral.Well,I didn't actually go to it,but I had to go to California because my uncle went...It's complicated, lol.
Phryg- I LOVE the Zappa disc, but then again,Im a zappa freak, lol.I think it's cool, since people are probably always asking him which Zappa songs is he on.
The Amazing thing About Jason Becker is that even though he has ALS,he is still keeping a positive frame of mind.I heard he actually GAINED 30 lbs.He said he has no doubts that he will some day play guitar again.Let's hope!
