Good Evening Joe,
Joe, I just bought a G3 DVD, and it was the first time I'd heard you play. I used to kind of worship Kirk Hammett, but then I heard you, and man, you win.
I mean you actually taught Kirk Hammett, how wicked is that! So, by taking a look at my nickname you can see you totally blew me away. I just saw you and I went "By God I am SO crap!". It was like the guitar was an extension of your hand, not a musical instrument. Wow. My one aim in life is to be as good as you.......
joe! clinics in australia possibly? if u do, PLEASE come to new zealand, we're all starving over here!
I totally agree with dash_hammett. If you're thinking of running a clinic in Australia, how about popping over to New Zealand...only a 3 hour plane trip.
Just to let you know, if I hear you decide to come to New Zealand and do what EVERY SINGLE GOOD BAND ever does and just go to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, then I think I may have to kill someone.
Nah jokes...but thats seriously a pain...
Well just wanted to do my little speel,
Becca.

JS Clone1: Thanks man, I appreciate that.
Yayo: Welcome back. I forget who you were answering but I seem to remember Joe saying he invited Page & Beck everytime for G3, well I guess that would make it G4 'cause it ain't G-Nothin' without Vai. Anyway, I read it in an interview that I'm sure I linked to from here. Anyone remember where it was?

Dear Mr. Satriani
My boyfriend has been a fan of yours since he was a baby, as his three brothers are great followers of your music. I also have come to love the songs that you write, and so have many others through my boyfriends enthusiasm. We are getting married in a month and I was wondering if it was at all possible for you to send a signed autograph to my boyfriend, Jonathan so I could give it to him as a present? If it is possible could you send it to: Rebecca James, 12 Carter Avenue, Broughton, Kettering, Northants, NN14 1LZ, England?
With lots of love
From
Rebecca

Hey dudes. It's been a while. I bet most of you don't remember me. I made an attempt to rack up support for an Aussie Satch tour a few months ago that failed dismally, so I walked away with my tail between my legs. Now the man himself is saying that Australia might get a look in. Woohoo! Shame it's a clinic and not a concert, but at least that indicates that even with the current exchange rate making the profitability of a tour questionable, Satch will make a compromise for his fans. Secondly, I want to let everyone who might be about to buy a new axe know about a little under-appreciated gem (Not a Steve Vai gem) I've just got. It's the Yamaha RGX420. It's got a lockdown nut with a floating bridge, tone as clear as a bell, with 2 distinct humbuckers that can be fiddled with to act as single- poles. I know Yamaha has a reputation for being at the lower end of the spectrum, but I tried plenty of guitars in my search (including a JS1000) and couldn't beat the Yamaha for a combination of quality and diversity of tone and ease of playing. All guitar shoppers should look out for it. YAMAHA RGX420
(No, I don't work for Yamaha! ;-)

CYBERJOE- No wrath here dude :-), just a different point of view, one of my 'pet' things view every thing in the time and space that it was originally set in, mind you i feel the same as you also, i used to think that Blackmore was THE man but i barely listen to him now. :-/
TRUTINA - Checked out your site man, no ridicule here, cool sounds, love your attitude to technology and playing as well. I used to have the same attitude to playing but i've sorted that out but technology still gets me. Do ya think that if you told the vendors of drum machines, recording software etc, that you could only be arsed to use 20% of the potential of the gear they'd only charge you 20% of the price - lol. Good luck with the smoking dude, more power to the tic-tacs !
EYESOFFIRE - Nervous is good, it keeps you fired up and ready and you know when you start to play the nerves just disappear ;-) Good luck anyway.
OVATION - Hope it's all goin' well man, still thinkin' of ya :-)

r6rocker - the next time when I go to Poland is on Easter, just 93 days left... :(
I find 'starry night' a bit... dull, th ebetter choice would be 'mind storm' - yeah no wonder he never gets an award...

Hey Webmaster...
I know you don't have anything to do with this, but you are the only one I know to ask. ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! It's been 21 weeks since I won the tourshirt and autographed copy of "S.B.M." from the set-list giveaway, and I STILL have not received them. It's been 9 1/2 weeks since Joe's manager told you they were all sent out. Any way you can find out what's up? Has anybody received their prizes, or is it just me who is still waiting?
Thanx... John aka =o|-[

Hi Satch Fans, not been on much lately, flu and stuff. Must get back to running with the sunny monster.
Clarky - Have fun bashing up the cookies, they're not that tasty, just leave the chocolate alone though especially cadbury's.

Silmarien-I agree. I think the Grammy people just pick a song out without listening. Mind Storm would definitly be a better choice. I like Sleep Walk, but they could've chosen a better song for the Grammy
