mr nick ... I know the philosopher's song by heart and I will sing it nonstop at a moments notice much to the dismay of anyone nearby and by dismay I don't mean because I have a bad voice I don't but simply because some people find it annoying and that's exactly why I do it and also because it's so dang funny

John Stuart Mill of his own free will .......

H302 .. "lmao" means Laughing My @ss Off ~ you'll also see ROFLMAO which means Rolling On Floor Laughing [etc] and then there's the good-old standy LoL which means Laughing Out Loud

jsc1 ... glad you like the dragon, and thanx for the comment! hint: there's a different dragon for every "section" ~ that one is particularly "macho" hehheh

HI JOE!!! I'M SHOUTING BECAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT:

Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume
Schopenhauer and Hegel,
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist.

John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away
Half a crate of whiskey every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart:
"I drink, therefore I am"
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed!

Long live the Monty Python!

If i was going to buy a guitar i would buy a joe satriani 10th anniversery chrome guitar. set me back about £3100. Realisticly im saving up for a js1000bpb. I personnaly like the floating bridges. But having a fixed bridge is good. I like my gibson sg special edition and thats a fixed bridge. Do you ever use a fixed bridge joe and what was your first ever guitar. c ya joe and everone. Just one more thing. GO BUCCS. we beat phili and we are going to the superbowl. YEAH.

Joe, I have been listening to your music for 15 years. I caught your show in Portland, OR back in Nov. 2002. It was, well, awesome. I am a graphic designer by trade and would like to know who does your artwork for your cds n such. I have an idea that I would like to show you. It is a "Not your average Joe" concept. I am going to catch your Feb. 1st show at the Fillmore. It would be cool to give you this concept. I will attach the intial concept to an email addressed to the webmaster on your site. Hopefully it will find its way to you.

Joe, Jeff, Matt, Galen, Thanks a million for doing this tour. Seeing you guys live was one of the best experiences I've had in my lifetime. My family and I will be driving approx. 550 miles to see you at Konocti Harbor. You'll be playing on my wife's (Joan) 43rd Birthday. Many thanks to the crew and all who are responsible for bringing us the unbelievable pleasure that is Joe's music.

HELP

We joined Freeserve anytime a couple of months ago and since then, whenever I go into a website where there are photos all I get is a box with a red cross in the top left hand corner. Tried the Joan Satriani link but there are no pictures.

Computer buffs, what's up with my puter.

Hi Joe, Hi Guys.

Thanks you guys who replyied to my message.I know now I sent that message twice, I must have forgot I sent it the first time.

JSJERCH1-(Jerry) I can't play Joe's songs perfectly but im not far off. I started playing guitar in October 2001.So ive been playing for about 15-16 months. How old are you, Im 14.

Im also thinking of giving up the idea of putting together a setlist of joes songs.Lately my band have been treating me like crap and they havent turned up for practice. I dont think they would back me up anyway. They dont like satches music. The only other thing I could do is play joes songs to backing tracks. Can someone tell me where I can get them

JSTRAT57-Thanks for the info on TIME MACHINE, much appreciated. I'll have a go at it and if I cant work the rest out I'll give you a shout................If thats O.K by you.

CLARKY-Thanks for the info on the trem-loc tuneing thing. But I still dont know what the clicking is. I was told that when you change the strings on a guitar you should do them 1 at a time, because if you take all of them off at once it will alter the tension in the neck.Could this be whats happening when I push down on the whammy bar? Where the strings are going slack could it be altering the tension in the neck?

PHRYDOM-Thanks for the info about the DONNIE guitars, have you got one? Do they come with proper IBANEZ necks or are the necks coppies as well? How much are these DONNIE coppies?

IT IS STU NOT BOO-It's a shame to here that Eric Johnson wont be coming to the U.K this year.Oh well, maybe next year.........thanks for keeping me updated though.

ANIBUR-Thanks for letting me know about the Carol and Joan thing.Which one of them designed the ELECTRIC RAINBOW JS guitar?

R6ROCKER-Glad to see Jeff has some surporters.I have all his albums,SEE THE LIGHT is my favourite.I want to go and see him in concert.Have you ever seen him?

ALLAN AIRD-Thanks for the email,I'll let you know how it turns out..........Thanks again.

matt king - Down time? What's that? LOL... ;-)

DainBramage - Joe's playing down in San Diego in a few weeks.
mind storm2 - It's too early to tell.
WhiteMagic JS - I think that's old news. Joe was in Greece in July of last year.
Higain - I love the soundtrack to the Top Gun game for PS2. Awesome stuff.
crispin - Joe's first guitar was a white Hagstrom (sp?). I think he's actually looking for it (I guess he sold it a while ago), so if you see it give it back to him. ;-)
