Ok I need help..... I want to get a new, cool guitar cd and would like to know some recommendations. So it would be awesome if some of you could put your top three cds down for guitar, limiting them to one per band or player (so not all Satch cds, or Hendrix, or Vai...). And Joe, if you read this could you put your top three favorite cds down?

Appreciate it.... mick

Joe- I think u should do a guitar clinic in Canada or the U.S. I would NOT miss that! And I'm sure MANYother people think the same way! For your play list dilema I think u should play more stuff from "Not Of This Earth", "Time Machine" and some more "Crystal Planet" tracks like- "A train of Angles"or "Secret Prayer". I also was wondering who's going to be on this years G3? I would really like to know!

Mick87- My top 3 with Joe and Steve would be.....1) Joe-Crystal Planet 2) Steve-Passion and Warfare 3)Yngwie Malmsteen- Concerto suite for electric guitar

Without- 1) Frank Gambale- Comming to your Sences 2) Dream Theater- Live Scenes from NY 3) Yngwie Malmsteen- Fire and Ice

JS Clone 1, Quantum: The info on Ibanez's new 2003 line came from reports from people who went to the NAMM. They managed to try out some of the new gear. Info from jemsite, ibanez and ibanezrules. Check'em out.

Mick87: 3 different artists cd's eh? OK. Vai's Passion & Warfare, Stevie Ray Vaughn's Texas Flood and Jeff Beck's Wired. 3 different sounds, 3 different time periods, 3 kick ass cd's. Couldn't narrow it down to just one of Joe's cd's in case you were wandering.

Hi all.

Joe if you read this, i was just wondering if you have any more info on the clinics you may be doing here in australia. i would kill (not literally lol) to be there, so any info would be much appreciated :)

regards Tim Anesbury

P.S. thankyou thankyou thankyou for playing the most beautiful music on earth, because after i began to listen to your stuff early last year i have finally begun to take my guitar playing to another level, beyond simple power chords and mainly metallica influenced stuff. i am gradually learning legato along with a bunch of your songs and I'm getting pretty good too. I'm about to go practice RIGHT NOW :) so thanks again, you've made a big difference to my life.

Hi everyone. Al Hirschfeld just passed away...he was 99. He drew line drawings...I'm sure everyone's seen his work somewhere. Among other things, he drew Aerosmith for the cover of their Draw The Line album. He's a cool guy.

Quantum - Each instrument is its own MIDI track. So I guess the quality depends on the quality of your soundcard. I find that they're very useful to figure out song tempos, but their tone isn't the greatest (IMHO). Slides and bends and whammy bar stuff sounds the worst, but if you listen to them with a guitar in hand they can be a big help.

Higain - Hmmm... Top Gun has been out for at least a year...maybe even two.
Plum Loco - It needs more cowbell!!!

...Austin...

Clarky - Heavy guitars could never hurt me. It's just more guitar to feel on your shoulder. Good workout aswell.

hfob - Ooh more dragons? Link me.

Crispin - JS1000BP excellent choice. I'm in love with Clone 2's BP. Yeah yea, I just posted this whole thing about floating bridges but hell, that guitar's great with anything. It's the one guitar that just 'felt' right. Just the FEEL of it, I can't explain it any better. No guitar felt better to pick hard, legato, finger, bend and I really don't know what it is. It's the perfect guitar physically. Tonally, there is no 'best tone' out there, but it's surely versatile as it is pleasurable to listen to.

LGU - Here's the wedding dress I want. http://pages.tias.com/2604/PictPage/1921155724.html

Michelle - Haha Avril. I don't care what people think considering the music I listen to and play, her music's not bad man. I like some of the songs. Anyone got a problem with that?! I'll fight you to the last of JS Clone 2's blood!
