Paul and Mr. Nick: Exploding Penguins on the Telly, Confuse a Cat, Albatross!, Upper Class Twit of the Year, Pet Conversions and no list would be complete without Nudge, Nudge and the Kilimanjaro Expedition.

And now for something completely different: A man with a tape recorder up his nose.

And now Happy Birthday to Yayogakk

And now....I'm a lumberjack...

Hola, Satch: Is it true that you´ll be performing here in Mexico City in March at "Teatro Metropolitan"?, some radio stations (like Órbita) said so.

PhryDom- :) Cool! Didn't know that my questions could inspire someone! I'll see if I can come up with more! I love feedbacks too! They can sound really great! Flying in a Blue Dream has one of my favourite intros, if not my favourite! They look like whales crying! Great! Of course my feedbacks don't sond like Joe's... At least for now... But I surely have a great time playing with them! :)

A stupid but curious thing: If you point a TV remote or any other remote between the neck pickup and the beginning of the neck and press any button, it makes a really stupid sound... but it's curious... Not sure it's harmless, but still curious...

Anyone else uses guitar pro? I mean, I see a lot of people asking for tabs and stuff, I have 36 guitar pro tabs of Joe Satriani, and they have 119 satriani tabs at mysongbook.com. With the demo you can use downloaded files but I think you have some limits for composing and, the worst thing, you can't print... But it's definately (did I spell that correctly?) worth downloading! I have the full version, and I use it a lot! You can even write with standard notation and it converts it to tab format! And you can convert midi into tab, tab into midi, tab any instrument you want. Really cool! Check it out here!

HEY!! 10 POSTS!! 490 to go... :P

Ya Yo - Happy Birthday. 21, so what's that mean? You can legally kill people? No? Damn, there's no point of growing up is there.

the sims are boring! Even 'Tropico' is more interesting, but its just a matter of taste, I prefer strategy games, I also LOVE Diablo2, but its boring at the beginning :/

I just saw a film where was Satch's song played! wow, I didn't know that his songs are in films - this one was called 'the new age' - Joe what do ya think? and the song was 'midnight'

hey Webmaster - are u alive? or have some vacation?

JsClone1 speaking of not having people to jam with, my two bandmates are on a ski vacation in Vermont for the last week. I'm getting sick of playing alone - but not sick of cleaning up after them lol. Check out one of our songs called When the Smoke Clears here. We have no singer so the bass player and I are covering vocals hehe.

JsClone1 vocals hehe, believe it or not, we can both sing...just not THAT song lol. Of course, we probably could have nailed it if we spent half as much time on them as we did on our instrument parts. Voices were done in like 4 takes as opposed to the innumerable takes on guitar parts - I can't even think how many I made before I got ones that I liked...we won't get our original vocalist back, he actually sounded worse than the bass player and I hehe. Thanks for your input, as you can see from the solos, I'm still sticking to the legato stuff instead of the all-out picking that we talked about before.

PhryDom, Not sure how to interpret that... sounds like you think he charges a whole lot... assuming that... Not sure where you live, but the music scene in the bay area can get pretty expensive. I myself charge $20 per lesson, my trumpet teacher charges $50/hr. Considering that I get one hour and I'm not obligated to have any sort of continuity in my lessons (one each month, two each, one every two months, whatever) I personally think that's really reasonable for a world class bass player. Thanks for letting your opinion known, though, I'll back off a little on the video in the Satch forums.

Joe- I've been thinking lately, which is a scary thought. What is it that brings out our most creative moments?

The times we live in?

The 60's and early 70's really gave us some of the most sustaining Rock music of all time, Jimi Hendrix, Led-Zeppelin, Cream, The Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, of the like we haven't seen much of since that time.

The people in our lives?

Many times the magic created between two or more artists can not be duplicated apart from each other, Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Jimmy Page-John Paul Jones-John Bohnam and Robert Plant.

Something great or terrible coming in to or lives could inspire us to write a moving piece of music. "Always with me, Always with you" / "I Believe"

I know this question is impossible to answer, but feed back on the subject is interesting to me.

Why is it that an artist can write one good song or a whole album of killer songs, but never be able to write another good tune to save their life?
