narface- Dude, owning someones signature guitar is not that big of a deal. Most of the time they are the only decent models a guitar company makes. And to be honest, i see no reason why not having a signature guitar helps you "find yourself on you instrument". Whats the difference, just cuz sombodys name is on a good guitar doesnt mean that your musical abilities are never going to develop.

Well, hi all! Just came to say hi again! This site is becoming so participated it's hard to keep up! :p
I missed the chat too... :( anyway, I couldn't have won the guitar cuz I'm from Portugal.... But I was really sad I couldn't be there... CONGRATULATIONS JSTRAT! GEE, that's just my dream, man! I was so sad when I saw that guitar giveaways were for US only... anyway It's easy to understand...
Finally I finished my exams and started playing again! I really missed my JS... :) I was so happy to finally put a backing track and start improvising! SO MAGICALLY GREAT!! :) I LOVE THIS INSTRUMENT! I REALLY LOVE IT! Hope to really deserve having a JS someday!... That's what I'm fighting for! :) Anyway, just wanted to express my happiness and share it with you guys who must know what I'm talking about! :) It felt so great I really felt renewed! :)
And those feedbacks really rock, PhryDom! :) lol

Hi, joe, I'm a fan from Brazil, and I always wished to talk to you but I thought you hadn't the time to read the messages, but a new friend called nov~ encouraged me when we were talking at the chat at guitar-guitar.com last saturday. You'll play on Brazil in April 4th, and I would like to request you to play the song Down, Down, Down,. Please man, it would be awesome if you play that song, and I know I'm not the only one to apreciate that. I know you have tons of songs to play, everyday somebody probably ask you to play a song, but please man, play Down Down Down when you come to play in Brazil. I was in the crowd when you played here on august 2000, I don't know about you, but it was a great concert to me, I'll never forget that day, I travelled for 8 hours and I almost was not able to see the show, but that's a long story...
Sorry for the size of the post, but please, you need to understand how important is to me, and probably to thousands of other fans, to hear that song live. I will write another post later asking the same thing, just in case you forget...(sorry to be boring you man, but I promise that if you play the song I will never ask you again, please play the song on April 4th...)

Hey Joe Just saw your concert in Albuquerque. Awesome concert as always. It's the fifth time my brother and I have seen you. You are always putting on better and better shows. Your improv on songs was beyond words. Thanks for everything. One question though do you remember that one album you did, Crystal Planet. Yea that one was the best but I thought there were more songs on it besides Rasberry Jam. I'm probably biased because that's my favorite album. Sorry!

Hey Joe!
YOU are the BEST!
I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction to
obtain that "chainsaw" sound you use in "Time". I love that
sound and gotta have it! Thanks for all your inspiration! I am
a drummer of thirty plus years and now a budding guitar player!
"Thanks man"

Hey Joe,
My name is Patrick Sexton and im 15 years old and i live in Concord, CA. I just went to your concert on Feb 01, 2003 at the Fillmore in San Francisco and i had the greatest time i've ever had in my life. i was directly in the middle in the front row. Im the bald one that you let hit your Wammy Bar and the one that let Matt play with my phone with the flames on it. He really liked my phone. I got to the Fillmore at about 2:30AM, because i had to be the first one in line because i just love your music and i want to be just like you when i grow. it's amazing I've been playing guitar for 1 year and i know kids who have been playing for 3 years, who are my age, and they want me to give them guitar lessons, and im just like WOW am i really that good. The guitar that i have is a PRS CE24, which was a lot, and i also have a 250 watt Marshall 1/2 stack. But i really want your Ibanez Joe Satriani, Chrome Guitar, that's an awesome guitar. But i don't think they even sell Chrome guitars so hopefully they will soon. Well the reason i was sending you this message is because your concert was probably thing that's ever happened to me and i just want you to know that you've have changed my life. Not only did you make me want to be a better guitar player but most of all a better person. That night at the Fillmore on Feb 1st im never gonna forget because it was the greatest time of my life and it was all because of you, Joe Satriani. Thank you for everything, letting me hit yout wammy bar giving me your pick and just putting the biggest smile on my face. Your the Greatest.
From the bottom of my heart. Thank you Joe Satriani.
Your Friend,
Patrick James Sexton
I know that your probably always busy but maybe you could e-mail me back or something like that at: SatrianiAndVai@AOL.com
Thank you again Very Much.

new song... I was just interested if anyone wanted to hear a new tune we did...it's a rough mix, and i added a bit too much compression to it, so it swells! Also, stu cloen wrote the bass part, but I ended up playing iwth my js and an octave pedal on this recording! Let me know what ya think of it! Flight Of Mind Thanks guys!
PS -- feedback is MOST welcome!

Ugh... The guy in the dorm room next to me bought an electric guitar over winter break. He's playing it a lot, which is really cool...but he keeps playing THE SAME THING over and over and over. If I hear Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit one more time...ugh. ;-)
