Local Person - Are you going to be some kind of Engineer then, I do know that the Building Industry is crying out for good engineers, might be worth looking at, unless you are going to eventually become a music artist.

Dragonchild - Get the Extremist.
R6, RDG, Cleetus happy birthdays hope you all had good ones.
JOE - Congrats on the Grammy Nomination and The Governor's Award. Well done Joe.
Come back to the UK soon, we are still being tortured by bad music.
Andy Pandy has lost his guitar teacher, looks like he has gone and got himself a recording contract and has to move to London permanently. His name is Martin Inman and he's a bit of a cool guy.
LOL Sharon

Joe: I have heard that you mentioned a G3 DVD coming. It was heard on a radio interview recently but was the tail end of the interview. What were you talking about? Are you doing a new G3 DVD? (hopefully yes!!!!)

Oddly enough, The Extremist is my least favorite Joe album.I rarely play it, and dislike several of the songs with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.Well, no, not that much, but songs like Motorcycle Driver, Summer Song, and Cryin' never get play on my stereo.I love Rubina's blue sky Happiness, Why?, New Blues, and Tears in the Rain though.
I must also concede that this album was very important in my development as a player, I got the tab book for my 13th birthday, and that's all I did for about a year, play from that book.I remember that the stretches for "Tears.." seemed impossible, lol.Good memories.
Not of this earth is lacking in the sound quality department, but it's very quirky, and you probably have never heard anything quite like it.Sort of a "mad record".
Olly-no real amp(just a little 10 watt practice amp), no recording equipment. You don't want to hear me, I suck.

Local Dude - Yeah, man; that sounds like a pretty cool course... Good luck!
Mr Nick - Well, I don't work for the admissions team at the Academy, nor do I really now the criteria they're looking for. But I have heard some of the other players, so on those grounds I'd be very surprised if you don't get onto the higher course with that tape. Provided you nailed it all...
JSC1 - Thanks for your feedback, man. I'm trying to get a couple more pieces on that site as my playing has imroved a ridiculous amount since "Crimson", but the college aren't particularly keen on me uploading files through their systems... "Let's Hear it for A Minor" was just a dick-around, first take improv thing. No set pieces that were intended to capture your ear - more of a showcase of my ability (or lack thereof...?). Stay tuned for more pieces though! Your new guitar sounds ace by the way!
Stu Not Boo - Yeah, thanks! I'm gonna take a few more pictures for my IUMA soon, one of which will probably include my "armoury", as it were... lol... I'll let you know if you like.
Clarky - It is gorgeous, but don't be jealous - your custom 7-string will probably blow it away... Any news on that beast?
I GOT FINCH TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!
Neil

dragonchild, get the extremist - its way my favourite album. Joe Satriani is my least favourite album. If you want it because of his performance of cool#9 on G3, it's really different on the album.
Hey guys, I work in my school library.
Nick, where are you applying to?

Hi Joe, what's up with the east coast? Don't forget your fans in New England... is it possible for you not to perform in the Boston Pavilion. I don't really like the place.
Could you consider playing The Forgotten (I and II) on your next concert? that's one of my favorites. I already put it in my list.
Hope to see/hear you soon...
Thanks!.

Plexihead Joe uses a 6100LM head, not the combo(6101). It has 6550 tubes in it. I feel that they are a good replacement for EL34's if you want a little tighter, punchier sound with more headroom for power section tone. The "electronic" difference is that they are more the "military grade" tube, as is the 5881's of the 6L6 world. Hope this helps.

Hi Joe,
I just wanted to let you know that I saw your show in Reno at the Hilton and enjoyed it. Your music elevates me to a higher level. I think this to be the reason for art and music. Thanks for the boost in evolution.
