death cube - it's funny how all of the biggest pisshead nations are either within the British Isles or former British colonies..... there must be a serious pisshead protein in the Anglo Saxon / Celtic DNA

Marcel Coenen "Inner Alchemmy"

Now...this is SAD....i posted a link for you guys to discover a new great guitarist that apart from being a great virtuoso ( the best guitarist over the Netherlands) have too much class on his choice of notes, a lot of feeling, and great songs.....and not one single comment review.....why is that?

Why are you guys so close minded when it comes to open your ears to new music? Do you beliebe the instrumntal rock that Satch plays its the only good music in the world? Dont misunderstandme, he is the greatest on what he do, but dont you love to know more truely amazing artist that WORTH the listen????

I said this because (as example) Matt post a song (kick ass song by the way......not try to bash you, you know it...) and then you guys hear it almost imediatly because , apart from being a great guitarist\musician he plays very similar to Satch.....

Dont bash me, you can listen to whatever you want, but i just wanted you to share something i found that was great to me and it may be great to anyone because its 100% pure quality music.......im not trying to change the way you admire-love-wantobelikesatch.....just telling what i sense here...

I bet you guys, most of you dont even know about Neil Zaza, Andy Timmons, Shawn Lane, Chris Brooks, Marcel Coenen, Mattias IA Ekluhnd, Michael Romeo, Rob Balducci, Rob Johnson, Rhon Thal, Ophet, etc.....

I just wanted to sugest you a new world of music that may open your mind to an extraordinary musical level....

If you dont like what i sugest you to listen, its fine....but give it a try...

nick - mong generally means complete idiot and it is of similar strength and perspective as 'complete twat', 'total wanker', etc...

it is not as flexible in terms of the number of different contextual meanings as the words fuck and bollox

it only has the two meanings

1/ Mong - someone who is desperately un-clever

2/ Monged - someone who is desperately un-clever and a result of drink / drugs...

Therefore, some one can be a mong and get monged. But you don't have to be a mong to get monged. However, it is typical for someone that is not normally a mong to behave like a mong when monged.
It is also true that many people are complete mongs without the excuse of being monged.. They just constantly exhibit mongey [spoken: mong-ee] behaviour.

When a mong is monged, you'd expect that this heightened state amplifies the general mongeyness.. and this is true it does.. However there is no Mong term to describe this exra-mongey state... No ultra-mong for example.. It seems that once you are a big enough / drunk enough idiot to cross over into the realms of being a mong, you are then simply a mong no matter how much worse you get...

Mong is derived from Mongoloid which is why this term is deeply offensive, very upsetting, politically incorrect, and therefore why I like to use it...

Clarky: That kicks ass! Hope you find the last element soon.

Berkeley: - I just thought that is was a huge compliment, that Irish guys like beer from an "American" brewery. Irish beer rules, man! ;)

Ga6O: - If I had anything but dial-up, I'd check him out right now. I have heard of this guy. It sucks being on dial-up, not time to wait for it to download. Shawn Lane is furious! You like him, check out my friend: Jason Blake

Irish guys like beer from anywhere man! They'd probably drink out of the Loo if they had too!

But you're right, it was a nice compliment, since most Euro's just bash the shit out of anything us Yankee Dogs do!

Don't drink too much of that Brown Ale this weekend!>)

Matt - Your songs deserve to be put on a cd! If I listen to them almost as much as Satch that's tellin ya something.... As for your own sound, that's still developing and is changing constantly, new ideas will always come over time. As soon as your ready to put a cd together I would do it, I'd definetly back you up and buy at least one. Keep at it man..... mick

kell - I checked out Jason Blake. SWEET. And you're actually mates with him? Sorry if I seem too amazed, I've only been playing for just 3 yrs but with a tonne of determination I'll be hitting notes that precisely. I loved the way he changed from one sound to the other. Very fluid! Can you recommend anyone else?

Berkeley: Truth be told, I'm on a special diet....No beer allowed :(

Brymstone: - Here's another local guy, Jason holds him in very high regard, as do I Matt Mitchell - his Jazz/fusion stuff is scary as hell! Powerful.

I learned quite a lot from Jason, I'm still trying to absorb a lot of what he was trying to teach me. You should see him play, it's absolutely crazy!

Aahh, did any of you Brits out there see Tony Blair on the front cover of the papers, playing th guitar at Fir Vale school or wherever it was in Sheffield? Jeez, that guy annoys me soo fricking much! The last bit of publicity my city got was The Full Monty, and now we get some dumb head muppet (monger?) of a PM come and strum some chords (he really doesn't deserve to be calle d a guitarist). And that bass player was holding his instrument somewhere below arse-level.

Bummer Man! I feel your pain. I'm on a 60/30 program.

60 sit ups - 30 push ups every morning. So far I haven't lost any weight, just tightened up a little.

I prefer the 6/12 program (6-12 oz beer curls) myself, but what the hell, if I did that every morning I'd be F'd up the rest of the day.

Good Luck with the diet!

Ya know beer is healthy foy you! Just not in the quantities we want to drink it in!

Berk. Boy
