jelly man Don't worry, I was only bitching about Tony Blair. I've got nothing wrong with Oxford, If it sounds like that, it was only me being my normal self with plenty of pessimistic humour attached.
One funny thing I read, 13 people who have been to Trinity Cambridge have won Nobel prizes in Physics. There is a notice up in Harvard's Physics department saying "Time is a device to stop everything happening at once. Space is a device to stop everything happening in Cambridge."
Whoever said that His Toniness is Grade 6 or 7: Well I wish he would have actually played something decent, then.
There's a peace march going on in London today. Half the people ther, however, just seem to want peace because they don't like George Bush. I personally am for the war, but I wouldn't mind peace protesters so much if they actually had some reasons for doing it that involved Iraq, and not just to spite Dubya.
Happy 400, Trutina.

Chris -- just put an add out in music stores!? :) I was lucky to have met these guys in school...they're great friends too along with being great band mates! As far as simplicity...the more I produce something, the more tacky it sounds on my particular songs! I liked the way your tunes sound though, so keep at your style chris!! :)
Neil...coming from you, with all of the theory and laerning experience you have, it really means a lot. Thank you for instilling faith and hope too...I don't expect to hear from any record company in a week, someone just a little more important in my view... heh if I can please him, I'll be very content...
Jelly man!! Happy 18th on march 1st then :) The test drive is only frmo 1-6 :) I'll have plenty of time after that haha

crushing day happy birthday in advance. I can play the first 2 pages of sisters, does it get harder after that? I wouldn't know about borg sex - I don't have EOC.
Sunburst, just seen that, nice choice, Matt.
master Yoda Which DT album is this? How about playing Pull Me Under off Livetime?

Darren - Nice site; good fun. Isn't the CAGED system brilliant? Easily the most useful thing I ever learned so far...
Greg - Awake. I figured since they're into shite they might hate The Mirror, which is fine by me coz I love that track - metric modulation is awesome. It also gives me a chance to play along with Erotomania...

greg m, I'm so sick about hearing about the war I could scream. Hold on a minute, I think I'll do just that ~~~~~~o.k., now I feel better. The gov't. has their head so far up their bum it isn't even funny. The media is hypeing the "terror" and "danger" to the max! First the gov't. raises the alert to orange. In todays paper, they say the main A.Q. dude who warned of an attack has failed a lie detector test - only given AFTER the alert was raised to orange (high alert). They say they still have other juicy tidbits of info, so they claim they still would have raised the alert anyway. Yeah, nice save. Then they have America running rampid to get rolls of plastic & duct tape! LMAO! This is just in case germ warfare hits home so they can tape up their windows & doors. Now I don't know what kind of houses these ppl. live in, but my house is kind of drafty. lol! That's rea-hea-healy not going to do a pinch of shit of good up in here. Once our houses are all taped up and "germ-proof", when can we come out? Those germs don't just disappear, they're on everything! Let's just go outside and breathe deep. Then they have folks crazy buying gas masks. This is a rotflmao kinda thing. Do these ppl. know that if their mask is not fitted properly, dey gone too - and just how long do they have to wear these gas masks? Freakin' eternity? Breathe deep. It's rediculous! I didn't wear gloves to open my mail to avoid anthrax, and I'm not buying a mask or plastic & duct tape...just in case. I joke about these thing because I have to. It's my way to deal with all this insanity. I pray we don't go to war, but I wouldn't protest against it.
If I die tomorrow, I'll be alright because I believe, that after we're gone, the spirit carries on.
Dave, I keep getting yelled at (by my kids) to turn it down! lol!

Hi,
great new site ! It sticks very well the "Satch'atmosphere".
I've just seen the San Fransisco dvd from the engines tour and it recall to me the Great Olympia(Paris) concert of 2000 !
just one question :
Are you interested by composing a whole movie music,as you live in LA,don't you have any propositions?
I really hope the day Hollywood produce "Silver Surfer",they call you to use your music !
Regards,
Leepifer.

master Yoda That's got to be my favourite DT album. None have done it for me in the same way since.
Nick I know how you feel. I've got to go and do a maths practise paper now. After that, I'd better do loads of my electronics portfolio, and start drafting my physics research and report essay................
Every week, sometime in Monday evening or Tuesday morning, I realise that I have triple maths first thing Tuesday, and it spoils the rest of my day. In fact, mentioning it has sent my down a bit just now.
Does anyone know about those JS guitars with the jungle patterns on them; are they painted ot does the jungle thing use cloth, like the floral jems?

DCK: I don't know your email address, send me a link or the songs at chrispeters32682@aol.com. So who is going to do the work to get the art and compile songs for the cd if we all do it? If a bunch of us do, do this, it needs to be totally professional. If you guys wanted any of my stuff on the cd, which song should I pick?

Happy 400th Michelle and Trutina!
That'd be awesome to see Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Metallica all together. I like Linkin Park the most. But I LOVE Metallica's deep, low bass. It's so cool.
Michelle-That's hilarious about the pajamas. LOL. The weird thing is, is that at my school there are punks and goths and stuff, but they seem to have already put me into a group that's not theirs like preps or something. (This has nothing to do with your daughter LOL), but I want to fit in with everyone. I don't like groups because they just separate you from everyone else.
PunkDude-Twiggy Ramirez? Guy from Manson's group right? He's TOO dark for Metallica. LOL

My hands are tingling, my pick's wrecked, my strings are black and sticky and the battery in my metronome is dead - time to stop practicing I think. For today, anyway...
Mr. Nick - Sure, it's big enough; but look at the location!!!! lol... You not sent off your audition tape yet? I'd start hurrying it along now if I were you. But I guess I'm not.
Darren - I liked the bunker one and the one where Chewy is shagging Princess Leigha (sp?)!!!!!!!!! And I always thought Yoda was a stoner...
Matt King - The sunburst is by far the sexiest. It just screams "Play me, bitch! Play me hard!" lol lol.....
Greg - Ditto on the DT album. Although Metropolis Pt. 2 and Falling Into Infintiy come very close...

PHRYDOM
Thanks for the input. The RP14D has a great Amp Modeler and Speaker simulator, so I'm gonna experiment with the direct connect first and see how it sounds. It's a pretty cool device.
I know Satriani has a chain of individual effects devices when performing and recording, but I don't know how the hell you could keep track of all that. I guess that's a job for your "People".
I think your right, sometimes you can get too muddled down with all that technical stuff. I don't think the guys I've been into all my life (Hendrix, Beck, Howe, Blackmore, Page) had all this technical wizardry to play with, but still created some amazing sounds. I guess it probably helps to have talent and great producers.
I get bored reading all the technical manuals too. That's why I'm just now re-exploring the Fostex. It's a hell of a machine, non-digital though. I'm a little bit clearer headed now a days, so comprehension level is a little sharper (ha, ha).
I gather from some of your other posts, you're a pretty Hot player. Do you have a CD to listen to and where? I'd like to hear if some of these JS Clones are any good.
Take Care
