Clarky, I'll certainly try harder next time around. You have to meet a certain criteria to get into those nut-houses. For example : Beating your head against the wall until you pass out, or creating a masterpiece, like a Picasso or a Rembrandt with your own feces. LOL...gross !!

My "Satch" newsletters always show up in my junk mail, so y'all should check that before you feel left out ;)

Peace, Dave

Hey all, I just wanted to say I'm still in shock after meeting Joe in back of the Crest Theater after the show! It was an awesome show, I was in front the whole time just groovin to the beats.

Heh, I'm 21 and I've got into Joe right when Crystal Planet came out. I got so into his stuff its all I played for a long time, and my style and skill became more defined. The only problem now was, everybody just wants to hear Papa Roach, Chevelle, Disturbed etc etc... And I wat to actually PLAY my instrument for a living cuz its so much fun. So following advice from my high school music teacher (mr. Abigana your a stud!) He told me to find an audience first, then bring the music to them...I thought long and hard on this one, hhhmmm...

Ok, I'm gonna admit it, I'm a huge video gamer... I love to game. My girl loves to game, she works a game store, so games are a huge part of my life, and I've loved the music from them for years. So, I now play video game music, and distribute it on the web, I now work for Project Majestic mix, run by a really cool dude, who is looking at the possibility of a huge grant to fund a massive project. For those of you who might care even just a little bit, I'm going to record all the tracks from a game called Final Fantasy IV composed by Nobuo Uematsu (another huge stud) all on guitar, bass and drums, exactly how the music was written. I ebow all the string instruments, play all the crazy arrpeggios kick out all the fat grooves and melodies. Its 44 tracks of great music.

Sorry for the book, but I was first in line to meet Joe after the show, and all I could say was blah blah blah my project blah blah blah, (I just thought It'd be cool to tell Joe, one of my idols what I had goin on!) By the way, for those of you who've never met Joe, he is a super cool dude, shook my hand twice, and told me good luck with my project! After all that, I was bummed, I just watched Joe shred me on stage for like 2 hours! I'm in a bad woodshed period now, (thanks alot Joe!) Just kiddin :P. So I'm working towards my goal, of shredding and composing music for video games, but I'm in need of guidance I feel like I'm losing my mojo... But! When this project is done, I'm hoping it will be a cool guitar landmark! Thanks for listenin y'all, Joe your a stud, a short little stud, but a stud none the less hehe. Thanks for the wish of luck!

It's good to finally see some update on the site. Of course with all of the concerts you give, we can forgive that. I was actually disappointed this september as you finally came back to Quebec area and were the opening act for Dream Theater. I don't have anything against them but let's just say that driving from Montreal to Quebec to see and hear the new music from the new album and finally seeing you play for an hour with only 2 songs from your new album kind of left me on my appetite. Oh well, hope you will be back someday and this time, just by yourself.

Michael Jackson: And that thing about sleeping with little kids in the same bed...that's really perverted even if they don't do anything. StuNotBoo-Micahel also said that the only plastic surgery that he has had in his nose and the rest was just growing up/adolescense or however you spell it. what a joke. I know I'm not part of a group and I think they're stupid too. I'm not a prep, goth, or skater. I'm just a Joe lover...is there any group like that? I didn't think so :(:(:(

JSC1-I haven't gotten out of that cute stage, but I wouldn't date a guy that has perfect looks and a sucky attitude. He'd have to have the whole package: Cute, Good Body, Nice, Sweet, Likes Joe, likes the same things I like, a Christian (I'd find it sortof hard to be with a person that disagreed on one of the most important things to me).
Greg M-My Definition of Prep: Abercrombie/Aeropostale wearing, fake blonde hair, lots of makeup, sometimes snobby depending on who it is, and not letting anyone else besides preps into their group.
Michelle-Oh I know, It's not like people will recognize the baby.

I'm gonna go see How to lose a guy in 10 days now. BYEBYEBYE!

Matt King: the course of evolution forum is a hell of a great idea. Thanks for letting me post a link to my music (I hate shamelessly promoting myself). JSClone1: I've been teaching lessons out of the local music store for a couple weeks now, and it's great. I've been getting a lot of students who left other teachers, and it's hilarious how badly some of these kids have been taught (bad posture, no rythm...wow). My prised red S470 has been in the shop for a fret dressing, which is bumming/freaking me out. I'm worried it will feel totally different (I had this done to my old strat and I was left with metal lines for frets). Oh, one last thing RICH FOR G3! HAHA you can't stop me from saying it! Later.

dragonchild - interesting theory... i'm going to walk this way now *points in opposite direction to dragonchild*.

greg m, thank you for the welcome.

Austin - "I just wear what I want to wear and do what I want to do. " . Couldn't agree with you more. I figure that if I don't have a dress sense, no-one can tell me that my dress sense is apalling.

crushingday - Where'd you hear that?

LGU - Cute and good body first on the list huh? Haha.

OCPS470 - The S470, that's a Jap right? Are the lessons you are doing full time work? Anything happening with recordings? I'm sure the fret dress won't hurt your guitar man. My dad and I redess and recrown our own frets at home. Can only make things better. As long as you have a competent luthier/tech, he'll/she'll be alright.

Rich who? (for G3?)

Climber - Sounds like what I was trying to do with an In Flames song. Learning 2 guitar parts on one. In Flames - Suburban Me. One of the greatest shred solos you'll ever hear. Stays melodic with lots of speed and agression.

What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?
