Hi, great new site ! It sticks very well the "Satch'atmosphere".

I've just seen the San Fransisco dvd from the engines tour and it recall to me the Great Olympia(Paris) concert of 2000 !

just one question : Are you interested by composing a whole movie music,as you live in LA,don't you have any propositions? I really hope the day Hollywood produce "Silver Surfer",they call you to use your music ! Regards, Leepifer.

master Yoda That's got to be my favourite DT album. None have done it for me in the same way since.

Nick I know how you feel. I've got to go and do a maths practise paper now. After that, I'd better do loads of my electronics portfolio, and start drafting my physics research and report essay................

Every week, sometime in Monday evening or Tuesday morning, I realise that I have triple maths first thing Tuesday, and it spoils the rest of my day. In fact, mentioning it has sent my down a bit just now.

Does anyone know about those JS guitars with the jungle patterns on them; are they painted ot does the jungle thing use cloth, like the floral jems?

DCK: I don't know your email address, send me a link or the songs at chrispeters32682@aol.com. So who is going to do the work to get the art and compile songs for the cd if we all do it? If a bunch of us do, do this, it needs to be totally professional. If you guys wanted any of my stuff on the cd, which song should I pick?

Also drools at the guitar on Invigor's link

Happy 400th Michelle and Trutina!

That'd be awesome to see Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Metallica all together. I like Linkin Park the most. But I LOVE Metallica's deep, low bass. It's so cool.

Michelle-That's hilarious about the pajamas. LOL. The weird thing is, is that at my school there are punks and goths and stuff, but they seem to have already put me into a group that's not theirs like preps or something. (This has nothing to do with your daughter LOL), but I want to fit in with everyone. I don't like groups because they just separate you from everyone else.
PunkDude-Twiggy Ramirez? Guy from Manson's group right? He's TOO dark for Metallica. LOL

My hands are tingling, my pick's wrecked, my strings are black and sticky and the battery in my metronome is dead - time to stop practicing I think. For today, anyway...

Mr. Nick - Sure, it's big enough; but look at the location!!!! lol... You not sent off your audition tape yet? I'd start hurrying it along now if I were you. But I guess I'm not.

Darren - I liked the bunker one and the one where Chewy is shagging Princess Leigha (sp?)!!!!!!!!! And I always thought Yoda was a stoner...

Matt King - The sunburst is by far the sexiest. It just screams "Play me, bitch! Play me hard!" lol lol.....

Greg - Ditto on the DT album. Although Metropolis Pt. 2 and Falling Into Infintiy come very close...

PHRYDOM

Thanks for the input. The RP14D has a great Amp Modeler and Speaker simulator, so I'm gonna experiment with the direct connect first and see how it sounds. It's a pretty cool device. I know Satriani has a chain of individual effects devices when performing and recording, but I don't know how the hell you could keep track of all that. I guess that's a job for your "People". I think your right, sometimes you can get too muddled down with all that technical stuff. I don't think the guys I've been into all my life (Hendrix, Beck, Howe, Blackmore, Page) had all this technical wizardry to play with, but still created some amazing sounds. I guess it probably helps to have talent and great producers. I get bored reading all the technical manuals too. That's why I'm just now re-exploring the Fostex. It's a hell of a machine, non-digital though. I'm a little bit clearer headed now a days, so comprehension level is a little sharper (ha, ha). I gather from some of your other posts, you're a pretty Hot player. Do you have a CD to listen to and where? I'd like to hear if some of these JS Clones are any good.

Take Care

400? I ain't at 400. I think Greg got me confused with Michelle. Happy 400 Michelle! Happy 156 to me! Wait a minute. How'd ya get me confused with Michelle? I ain't no chick! (No offence Michelle, but you wouldn't want to be confused with a guy either) The name Trutina has nothing to do with a woman named Tina, nor with artificial sweetener. Trutina = Latin for balance. It's been a year or two since I had to explain that one, so I guess I was due.

OCPS470: I think I would go with Darkness. That's my favorite song of yours anyway. I'm kinda leaning towards Kentucky Trash Masher for my self. And yeah, I agree, everything has got to look professional. Maybe someone here is a graphic designer that can help us out with artwork. It would be cool to keep everything here in the T2J community.

DCK - I've been meaning to check out Morse for a while. Few years actually. I just never get around to it. I will soon.

OCP - Excellent. I'll learn them right away. About the compilation, I have not had any luck with having any decent recording quality and, I just hate guitar, I can't play it.

Someone on ebay has already bid $665+ on Mars (The Planet) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2911757389&category=1469

WOW what a beautiful day! it's 77 degrees the sun is shinning, birds singing, I love living in Florida. I can appreciate it more this year because I spent last winter in Massachusetts, COLD!

Just got a new pair of studio monitors, Behringer B2031's, sweet.

What is in your CD player?

I'm listening to the new Foo Fighters "one by one" and it's kicking my @$$. favorite tracks are #3 "have it all" and #11 "come back".

DONE! DONE! ON TO THE NEXT ONE!!!!!!

Matt-this is just my opinion but, I think you should stop recording other peoples music and start recording only your own originals until you have enough for an albums worth of material and instead of over exposing yourself on the net, leave a little bit of mystery for your fans as to who you are, that helps to build interest.

You don't need to put every new song you record out there for everyone to hear, it seems as though your wanting us to validate you when you already know your an up and coming young Shredmonster with plenty of talent.

It's really nice of you to share your music with us but, if your going to make a career out of this your going to need to market yourself differently.

Like I said, this is just my opinion and I hope it came across humble, as I intended it to be.

I have never seen you live and I realy want to, because I play a lot of your songs on guitar (not so perfectly like you of course). My fiancee love "War" and "Why" from Extremist. We invite you to Katowice very very much. So see you in Poland. :) bye.

2 ton :) very good point! I tend to let out every song that I come up with. I suppose I do this out of curiosity of what the t2j will think of a tune! Hehe I really don't know where music will take me, but if I am gonna be successful I am gonna have to...*gulp*...market it! I guess I'm just hoping people will really want to hear what we sound like recorded in a real studio!! I garuntee it will be LOADS better :) hehe

Man, If I don't read ttj often, I have to go through 20 something pages a day it seems!!! The problem is that sometimes it can be weeks to catch up! But, it is always worth the entertainment.

Awww what a shame that there are people that don't see a big deal about Valentine's Day. I guess if your mate isn't a romantic or one has a lack of love in their life, one would think there is no point. It isn't about the flowers that you get or give or even the gifts but that people care enough to extend their hearts for love... and so what if it is also a marketing ploy.... It stimulates the economy!lol.

I had the best Valentine's Day ever!!

Man, some of these people really have their heads up their asses regarding terrorism!! It is a real threat and we must all be prepared and we should be on orange alert even if some dude did fail a lie detector test! The alert wasn't based on one lie detector test anyway but from a collaboration of intelligence info. oh well, can't educate the "know it alls"!

As far as war protests, lest we not forget that because we live in a society of freedom in the USA, we can protest what we believe in and what we disagree with without fear. This freedom came with a price that our fore fathers fought for... Some fights warranted, some fights not.

I wish we didn't have to have a war! I also know that the price of freedom is high. I am proud of America and take America seriously as I try to decipher propaganda. This is our right and this is our freedom. "United we stand, divided we fall".

The vibe in California is mainly "peace man!"!

I pray for world peace. It all starts with love and kindness for humanity within ourselves..... and good music!

Remember this the next time you hold the door for someone at the grocery store, smile at someone or any other small act of kindness. One act of kindness changes the world just one tiny bit and most of all, it changes your heart.

Take care everybody.

PEACE!
