SWING ON THIS SATCH FANS!

Real Guitars of San Fran is auctioning off a bunch of Joe's studio gear on e-bay.

Go to musical instuments>amplifiers>Bogner and scroll down 'til you see "Joe Satriani studio sale Bogner Shiva".

From there you can look up the other stuff they're auctioning off of Joe's.

I loved tonight's episode of The Simpsons. So that's two episodes in a row that have been really cool. I can't remember the last time I could say that...LOL. It's been YEARS.

Look at the Fulltone pedal in Joe's Ebay listing... One of the tone controls is "Saturation". :-)

Joe, I've got a question. In the song Surfing with the alien you make a kind of slide sound, at 0:56, using your tremolo arm. What are you exactly doing? And some later, you're playing something with your pick, I think your fignerpicking with it, at E, 22nd fret. How do you get that sound? I've tried it, but I just don't get it like you do. I'd like to play this song at school, so would you please explain to me what you're doing? Thanx

Avarice - lol... I think that you should write the inner sleeve notes.. that would be just awesome...

"Here are a few introductory words about the T2J CD and the artists - by VBIL" - ROFLMFAO

Matt - stop putting yourself down you silly tart...
Death Cube / Matt - if Clarky was going to be the killer act on the CD and everyone would buy it for that reason alone then how come I'm not 11 CD's into my own career, bathing in $'s, driving a Skyline, not quite a household name, and failing to get a grammy.... like all the rest of ya - I'm just a 'me'.... lol lol
Michelle - thanks for taking the time to check my squeekins and squawkins out... That version of Crying was recorded on a beautiful early summers day in Luxembourg.. Although the actual lead parts are not very difficult to play, the level of control over your technique is unbelievably hard... I'd say that recording is, from a cotnrol stand point, one of the most demanding guitars parts I've ever recorded... yet it is so simple... totally crazy...

Speeking in Tongues is another nice 'Satchie' one... It was me imagining how Satch would play over a Vai track.. that is until I got all carried away and reverted to 'Clarky mode' ... lol

Glad you enjoy it - thanx

Ovation - I know a good clap clinic ... lol lol

Trutina - my track 'Our Blood on their Hands' is almost written. I'm around 85% done and it 's around 8 1/2 minutes... is this too long.. if so let me know so that I can edit it down before I commit to recording the guitars and adding the french horns, trumpets, trombones and chior... it's a real pretty track too.. All I have to do is to write the outro and complete the final drum programming before the horns, chior and guitars get cut..

Problem - I can only master onto minidisc... can you or someone you know convert this to CD.. I really am struggling with finding someone that can do this for me right now. If you can't sort this then I'll have to wait for PRMAN who is working abroad right now and won't be back for something like 6 weeks.. this would mean that it would take something like 10 weeks or more to get a CD to you....

Hi Joe! I am waiting with much joy its arrival here in Rio de Janeiro in day 4 of April. I know that I can seem arrogant, but know that it will understand me. I cannot leave to pass this chance, and again want to make my order. I also know that it is not impossible for you. Then, when to come to Rio de Janeiro, please does not forget to bring a guitar for me. One of that you already do not use more. It can exactly be one old good. Already I am thankful to you for the patience to hear me.

God bless you !!!!!

Avarice IIRC you have a 3/.4 size woolworths strat copy, right? I guess it makes it easier to rip those arpeggios! So if you're *really* gonna submit a track, what's it gonna be? Flying In A Mystical MindStörm While Sitting Around Crying About War With Echoes, And Thinking Of You With Jupiter In Mind? ;-) heh heh oh, and don't forget woof woof!

Clarky you could send me a copy of the minidisc and I could record it into my PC so OCPS can download it...?

Later all... I need to try and find a girl called Rubina so I can marry her!!! LMAO!!!!!

Phryg Dom - I'm just waiting for a few calls regarding some techie info from Yamaha and Korg, and also a music store.. If there is too big a time delay for when my new portastudio turns up then I'll take you up on your offer.. thanx bro this is a great help... and Middlesex is not to far from me either.. I live about 6 - 8 miles from Reading: Berkshire..
Does anyone have any knowledge / experience with the Korg D1600 and the Yamaha AW16G... these are the two recording systems that I'm looking at... they both look pretty powerful for the money and they both excell at the others weakness... typical... I'm having a hard time deciding...

Clarky, no problem, mate, any time. By the way, Sound On Sound magazine has reviewed both those machines. Korg D1600, the AW16G review is only viewable by members, but there's bound to be a review of it online somewhere ;-)

CLARKY - Is your guitar still in Florida ? Re: Recording studios i got mine from Hertford Music, next day delivery both times i've ordered from them on the net.

To : Strange Beautiful Guitarist …

It seems wherever I go, people come into my life and go out of it. Touching me where I can feel it. Then leaving only a memory, like the fairy tales of childhood … and I wasn't through knowing them yet.

How do you know when you are seeing for the last time? How do you stop together and keep all these around you that you've ever known and loved? And how do you keep fairy tales from losing their magic?

So come …

Brush against the walls of my life. And stay long enough for us to know each other. Even though you know we'll have to part sometime. And we both know the longer you'll stay … the longer I'll want you back when you are gone.

But come anyway.

For fairy tales are the happiest story I know …

and great books are made up of little chapters …

(CHESTER SWOR)

bises, CHARMA
