hahaha! watch out for that real Mexican Tequila man... oooh I could taste those Priarie Fires already...
Priarie Fire = One Shot of Tequila with a couple of dabs of Tabasco sauce... good way to light a fire under your ass let me tell you.... ouch!!!
Happy Birthday man!
Boozin it up ain't what it's all cracked up to be... but what is cool is being a Liquor or Beer enthusiast... always try something different but never over do it... that's the way I've leaned towards anyway... I never drank much through my 20s.... been wasted maybe 3 times in my life and only once where I puked my guts out... Miller High Life "King Cans" are not the best choice either, especially when you downed 4 of them in an hour just like silly me...
drinking Bacardi & Coke at the moment... only one though... I never over do it... can't afford to, he he...

hey matt king, ever try to get the attention of Steve Vai's Favored Nations label? it would be a great label for a band like yours to record for.

Hey, Ive been trying to figure out the technique joe uses on alot of his live shows. What he does he is reaches and grabes the whammy bar with his left hand and sort of make the guitar scream....... Ive bought a few books but they dont say how to do it.... I have a JS 1000 so, Perhaps I can play it just like Joe!

The live technique is quite simple. First you have to mute the note. This means, use your right hand (the pick hand) and hit any string between the two pick ups but while your thumb is slightly touching the string. This will create a harmonic sound. (You have to try a few areas between the pickups before you get comfortable with this). Once you get the harmonic, use your left hand to bring your whammy bar up (meaning, increase the note by a full 5-6 tones)

Hope to see you there. (Its a good place to see a few cool JS guitars)
P.S., thanks Joe for the great inspiration you bring us.

Usually, the third string from the bottom and the second string right in the middle are the easiest and nicest sounding harmonics which gives you that screaming sound like in surfing with the alien. I have a JS1. It is basically like the JS1000 except for the multi radius neck and also, the JS1 has the edge system rather than the LO PRO edge system. With the edge system, you can actually go an extra 1-2 step up in the screaming. (Not to mistake with the JS100)

Now as for the Favored Nations comment, I would LOVE to record as a FN artist...but I don't my chance to do that will ever come...I'm working towards a few other directions anyhow...on my own. I believe... :)
Thanks so much for all of the enthusiasm man, you made my day! :)
