Hi all, does anyone know if posters of Joe are available in the UK? So far I haven't been able to find any. Also, is the picture from the front of the San Francisco DVD available to download? I think the art work is fantastic. If any body knows please let me know. Thanks.

Hey Joe! I'm not going to say I'm your biggest fan, because that is what everyone might be saying anyway. But you have influanced my life in a much respectfull way. 10 years ago, I heard "always with me..." For the first time, and from that moment I took on playing guitar. I've meet you once at the sunfest in Florida, and I was the guy with the Attach 4:20 sign. You and the band signed it after the show, and you where the only one I wanted to sign my ticket stub. I felt so excited to see the look on your face when you heard me say "I love your music". Anyway I heard about you Ibanez getting ripped off. That made me very upset ! It is so beautiful and I hope it's returned to you. Much love and respect from a long time listener. djhuge@email.com

Hi everyone. I was on a boat in the ocean yesterday for my marine biology class. I forgot to mention this yesterday, but we found several different shovelnose guitarfish. I thought that name was pretty cool. If you don't know what they look like, click here or here.

Also...I saw some cool Joe pictures on the site here. I've posted one of them before, but they are here and here.

all computer recorders

Does anyone have a decent declipping algorithm? Some recordings I did in digital form have some pretty ugly clipping going on, some of which, it would be a major problem to have to record again. They were live performances of recitals by AS and A2 students which were recorded on a Br-8 which I have almost no experience with, nor a manual, and were recorded on the hot side. Please if anyone knows of anything I could use, please let me know/send it / a link to me. I've tried geniesys but that crashes, and I've tried the one that comes with Magix Audio studio deluxe, but that's pretty ineffective. The best technique I've found is scopping high mids and highs a bit but if anyone has anythign that could work, please let me know!

Thanks a lot. (and sorry for not posting so much lately, I've been incredibly busy)

death cube K - LOL!!! Operation Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication Storm is awesome. :-)

Jstrat57 - Wipe that oil off and mail it to me...hehe. The fingerboard on my Washburn bass is really dry.

A question for anyone: If I wanted to oil my fretboard, what should I use? Is there anything that I should stay away from? What about regular water? I have a weird feeling that that might do more harm than good.

ovation1 - Yeah, that Stu Hamm guy is a pretty good bass player, isn't he? I'm glad you finally got to hear the album. You have all three GHS albums now, correct? Can you rank them from most to least favorite yet?
IbaNick - As far as I know, Deep Purple haven't offically released any material with Joe Satriani. I know he's on a few bootlegs, though. I think one of them is called "Flying In A Purple Dream" or "Deep Blue" or some other combination of Deep Purple / Flying In A Blue Dream.
greg m - Jon Lord actually left the band just over a year ago. I don't agree with you when you say that the band should stop. Yeah, there is only one original member left, but it was their second lineup that was the most successful...and most of that group is still intact.

Steve Morse is doing a wonderful job in Ritchie Blackmore's place, even though he gives the band a different sound. And Jon Lord's replacement is Don Airey, who isn't a stranger to the guys in Deep Purple because he played with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow for a while. I saw Deep Purple with Morse and Airey back on 8/4/02 and had a blast...it was an awesome show, and I can't wait to see them again.

Gohan23 - Click here to see a large LISF cover. I found it in the Discography section of this site.

Master Yoda: I've never seen a reliable explanation as to what it stands for, but as far as I'm concerned, RC= really cool.

r6rocker: I love VFRs, they are the best all around bike out there period. You can have fun, scrape pegs, ride wheelies, and still take a weekend trip without killing your wrists and elbows. I haven't ridden yet this season, and have a lot of angst to get out so I'm gonna opt for the RC this weekend. There are a couple of RC30's running around in Louisville but I can't convince either guy to let me ride them. The Triumph Tigers are damn cool, for something really different as well as the BMW GS, but I'm with you, I'm not that old yet. They are a little heavy for the way I'd want to ride them. I'd like to get an African Twin but they were never brought over here, I'd have to find a Canadian model. If I were going to buy a new bike right now though, I think I'd get a new SV650. Those things are just too much fun. The new KTM 900 looks pretty interesting, can't wait till one of those come in either. Sorry, you get me talking bikes and I just go on for hours. Apologies everyone.

Yeah, Saddam Hussein should seriously "get down" or "step down" ha ha ha! Love the Aquaboogie Amphibious Assault Units!!!

Clarky/Nick: car park? Nah man. Front row right between security. Then you've got a whole venue of witnesses to verify the occasion. More memorable that way. "Remember the time when..."

BTW, what is this current operation called? Operation Desert Poo? Desert something surely.

News just in: Yoko Ono claims "John would have been upset about current war" WHOOPIE DO.

Gohan23: lol dude, "gohan" means "food" in Japanese ;-)

Do The Stu: I always LMAO when I see that first pic of JOE, lol, he looks like a fool in that pic ;-)....GHS....3 is quickly becoming my fave because it seem's the most radical, "Show me what you can do" is a close second because of dangerous curves, wrong and strong and astral traveler....."The light beyond" is a close third....I really love Lumpy's Lament!!

Later all, /\/\ike

Artanis I - According to the US media, the name of this thing is Operation Liberate Iraq, or something like that. I think that name sucks, but hey, I guess that's what the government has to do so people don't get upset. I'm sure the military has their own awesome name for the campaign, but I don't know how to find out what it is.

ovation1 - I rank the GHS albums the same way you do. GHS3 was originally my second favorite (behind SMWYCD), but it was #1 after my 2nd or 3rd listen. I need to listen to The Light Beyond again...I can't remember the last time I heard it.

Do the Stu: don't use water nooooo! Okay, Gibson makes a luthier's fretboard oil, comes in a little bottle. Apply a little to the neck when the rosewood starts looking dry. I think lemon oil might work too, but I recommend the Gibson product
