brymstone - hmm... I'm probably not the one to be giving advice... I'd get some thoughts from the "main crew" (a.k.a. people that know more than me, lol), see what they say... Truthfully I was more partial to the Star Wars Rock Cover. Quality wasn't the best, but it was still cool... Sorry I wasn't too much help... mick

mick_87 -- sorry :) it's a rarity for me to see someone post about nobuo! he's so cool!! new material? always in the works...I have several songs I'm working on all at once, hard to choose which one to throw more focus on. There is this on that is so emotional and kind of sad sounding...there is another one that is just all out fun, and then there is one that is very different from what I've been doing with the guitar, a very classic esque piece, and then there is yet one more I'm working on, it will require me to sing on it though! So, I'm a bit reluctant in finishing that one up! It's full of crazy time signatures...

mick - That's why I put the link there. I'd like to get everyones opinion if it were possible, although that may be reaching? Glad you enjoyed them though. All I get from the family is "turn that bloody noise down" - no real appreciation :(

If anyone else listens, I'd love to know what you think. I know where to better myself then!

What is the difference between a normal strat and a Malmsteem strat? What is the 21st fret inlay on a js100?

nick clarky and yoda I can see I'm missing out by staying up north for uni.

trutina What do you think about the ducati st2/st4 as an all rounder?

do the stu nice pictures. LOL about whatever it was you said was funny, man (I can't remember; it was a couple of pages ago.) Re: Deep Purple, the thing about deep purple was that Lord and Blackmore were pipneers of the heavy rock keyboard/guitar duo, and now both of them have left. I mean, have loads of members leave and you can carry on. Go on for several decades and you can carry on. But go on for several decades and lose most of your members, and surely its time to call it a day. BTW Steve Morse looks like he's getting on a bit too, doesn't he. I wonder will ernie ball keep making him guitars when he's like 80?

I heard Oriental Melody used as bumper music on KLOS just a few minutes ago. I love this radio station. :-):-):-)

greg m - I'm not sure about the differences between a normal Strat and a Malmsteen Strat. I'm sure http://www.fender.com/ will be able to tell you.

The 21st-fret inlay on the JS100 is a white background with "JOE SATRIANI" printed in black text.

Okay, I can kinda see your point about Deep Purple now. Steve Morse may look like he's getting old, but that doesn't matter because he's still awesome. :-) I saw him with The Dixie Dregs in January...unbelievable.

...Austin...

greg m - One of the biggest differences between a normal strat and a Malmsteen is the scalloped fretboard. It also has a brass nut, 2 DiMarzio HS-3 pickups, and a standard pickup in the middle. The 21st fret inlay on my js100 is a mother of pearl strip with 'Joe Satriani' printed on it.

greg m: I've only ridden a couple of Ducati's, a 94 900 SS/SP (with a helluva lot of engine work) and a 750 Monster. I liked the 900 a lot, but it feels pretty heavy compared to a lot of newer bikes. I don't think it actually weighs that much more, but there's a lot of weight up top. From what I've read of those two Ducs they are pretty cool, but the Desmo valve system can be a pain to deal with. I love the theory behind it, no return spring for the rocker arms, thus no fluttering or fluctuation in closing the valves, I hate the fact that it takes 6 hours to do a valve adjustment on a twin though.

Edit: I'm not sure if it's necessary to drop the engine out of the frame to get access to the rear cylinder head on the ST's or not, so that may not be a problem on those models.

T2J CD sorry if I've seemed rude by actioning your emails and not replying.... I *do* love y'all!!! Things are still hairy here I'm afraid.... I make your changes whenever I can, and also try not to check your spelling! ;-)

Other friends of mine.. sorry to use this place as a substitute for email, but I'm getting everything you send me, but can't find enough minutes to reply to you.... I'm sure you understand, and I know you all know I still love you!

Paul got the CD yesterday... v-e-r-y- impressed mate! I've always wanted to know exactly *which* notes were the "wrong" notes to play... and you got it down man! I'll write more when I can (hopefully this weekend); suffice it to say I woke up hearing track 1 (your intended track) in my head at 0530 today! and there's no cd player, no hifi, no nothing where i woke up this morning!!!!!..... take it easy everyone, and enjoy your weekend! Matt King - Final Fantasy has always been, in my opinion, the greatest game series of ALL TIME. I have been a fan since...umm....well I remember my best friend getting pissed off at me for not going to the playground because I was playing it. Nobuo is great, his music really brings out the story in those games. I have to admit, I have actually had tears form sometimes because of the music of that thing..in FF3 it was probably the Rachel and Locke seen where she goes into a coma, and in FF7 I suppose where Aeris dies. I love the piano version of Aeris' Theme, and the piano of the Jump Festival theme in FF10 (at least that is what it is called on the sheet music I downloaded). I could go on for days about how much I love this guys music. Have you heard his remix of the Jenova theme with the electric guitar in it? It's pretty sweet. *Shuts up for now*

Time to turn on the keyboard ;)

JStrat57: I can't make it out, what's in the other room?

Zard is good, and I get amused at some of the groups names here....Sex Machine Guns etc, lol, there's more....Oh ? so you get music station. I only get Heyx3 here in the US. Seems the Being company comes up with the most weirdiest of band names.

Wow you are so lucky to be living in japan. Which perfecture do you live? ----------------------------------------- DO THE STU: I recommend using lemon oil on your fret board.(pledge)
