Good news Joe - count my 16 year old nephew among the newly converted to Satchism. He's into Satch Boogie pretty big, also Midnight. I'm getting him into Cool #9 to, I told him it's a fan favorite. Unfortunately this will probably not result in any money coming your way as he downloads all his music :(

engines of dreams-
I didn't think that Petrucci's new solo album was LTE, I just thought it was just going to be released as John Petrucci. It would be cool if it were LTE though, every thing ive heard from them is really cool, especially Acid Rain.

Thanks to all for the congrats, it was damn cool to get that accomplished. I don't know if it was due to my link here, or if that radio station gives out the websites of the artist when they play the songs, but anyway, it was damn cool. Thanks.
Phredzilla: I've been coming here for 5 years and you are the first person I've seen from the Louisville area. I live across the river in New Albany myself. The closest Joe comes to us anymore is Chicago. Several years ago he played Bogarts in Cincinnatti, but I don't believe he's ever been to Louisville. I've invited him to play in my backyard for the last three tours, but as of yet, no response. I think I need a bigger back yard, but Headliner's would do.
Thought of the evening: When you step on the brakes, your life is in your foot's hands.
Question of the evening: If a centipede wants to kick another centipede in the shins, does he do it one leg at a time? Or does he stand on fifty legs and kick with the other fifty?
Quote of the evening: "Now hatred is by far the longest pleasure, men love in haste, but they detest at leisure." Byron
The evening news: Silent film star Mark Dunbar died today in Hollywood. He had no last words; however, he did wiggle his eyebrows and make several exaggerated gestures with his arms....Doctors treating a ninty-year-old pregnant woman claim that because of her advanced age, she will give birth to a grown up....A Swedish entomologist claims that common houseflies are highly intelligent and can be trained to fix umbrellas and dance in a circle....This just in: Authorities say a severely disturbed geography teacher has shot and killed six people who did not know the capital of Scotland. He is still at large and they remind everyone the capital of Scotland is Edinburgh.
Idea of the evening: Isn't it time we stopped wasting valuable land on cemetaries? Talk about an idea whose time has passed: "Let's put all the dead people in boxes and keep them in one part of town." What kind of medieval bullshit is that? I say plow these bastards up and throw them away. Or melt them down. We need that phosphorous for farming. If we're going to recycle, let's get serious.
OK, I think I've plagerized Carlin enough for one day. One more quick quote while I'm on the subject of plagiarism: "It is one thing to purloin finely-tempered steel, and another to take a pound of literary old iron, and convert it in the furnace of one's mind into a hundred watchsprings, worth each a thousand times as much as the iron. When genius borrows, it borrows grandly, giving to the borrowed matter, a life and beauty it lacked before." Anonymous
Makes you wonder how in the hell a quote concerning plagiarism is remembered, and the author's name is not.

hey guys!
i am thinking of switching the lo-pro edge bridge in my JS1000 to a Edge bridge as I've heard the the Edge has more up-pull than a LP Edge. Have any of you tried this? and does anyone have any opinions on whether this is a good idea??
thanks for all the help!
I can't wait for John Petrucci's solo album!! and i didn't know LTE were making another album.... sounds awesome!!
cheers

Wow this is taking ages to load up today...
Ovation: James Brown...you mean The Cat (Red Dwarf)
Clarky: ...be as popular...if I sold as many CDs... If I had a dollar for every time I heard that...I'd have a dollar.
DCK/R6R: "ain't got no cats" a bit like "I get no town" a la "I get knocked down" Chumbawamba style
Lambchops was a previous nickname of mine, when they were long, thick and wide. These days they're just long. A good friend of mine has his down to his jawbone. But they are not bushy or thick. Wide as wideness...but original = funky.
Avarice: seems so long since I saw the name Steve Via
Trutina: too funky I mean funny
Word of the day/year: funk

Hello,
CLINIC TOUR 2003 in ASIA.
It seems that Satch is coming in Singapore the 1st May at the Swee Lee Music Factory Outlet (check home page www.sweelee.com.sg). Actually, tickets are being sold now.
Any information about other dates/shows in the area ? What about Malaysia ?
=> This kind of information SHALL appear in the road section. Grrr. South-East Asia is the only part of the world where Joe didn't come during this tour. That's a shame. And now, only one show scheduled in Singapore in the Road section... Aren't you forgetting us ??

When you used Soldano amps, what settings did you use, I have recently purchased a Decatone 100, and it sounds stupid by I am struggling to get good sound..many thanks in advance....Joe Guynan

I'm rather sure that LTE aren't currently recording another album since a) Dream Theater has 3 of their members in studio at the moment, and has done since march 10th (and if that's what the guy was talking about, he's got his dates slightly off). b) Tony Levin, the fourth member has been touring with "the tony levin band".

Avarice - Clarksys ins Whites... lol - so what ever did happen to the savage... maybe spiller force fed him to the wolf before he was executed... lmao... maybe the savage was infact both the wolf and spiller... lol... no - not bright enough to pull that one off... lmao...
sad what happened to his worm though... I think there is an emotionally charged song hiding in that one... so long as addam don't get there first.. I'll not be writing that one anywhere close to a Taco Bell radar station... lmao..
and the thought of getting close to those strange smelling 14 year old girlies is quite appealing - don't you think ? ? ... lol lol lol...
my global crusade as shred tech guru is to confuse the entire worlds population of shredders... and it's working... lol lol...
dude - if I had a web site of my own that would be yet another place for me to visit... so bro, I just don't have the time.. looking at it one way: does that make me some kind of parasite.... if so - who really gives a shit... lmao.. looking at it from another way: I'm just a lazy bastard that can't be arsed to build his own site - and still don't give a shit.... lmfao....
artanis - lol lol lol...
more importantly:
E N G L A N D totally turned over Turkey 2-0 - awesome game...
