hi joe, hope the fingers are holding up!
Just wondering if there was any chance of you coming to the south of england to do a tour i feel we are missing out on your great playing. i have all your albums and dvds but i NEED to see you live. loads of people say this most likely but if you could consider it that would be well cool
Just one thing what was your inspiration behind the crystal planet?

LTE Mike Portnoy has said that LTE is very unlikely to make a third album, since it was set up to create a musical environment outside Dream Theater, but nowadays, it would effectively be an instrumental alter ego for DT (no offence to John Myung or Tony Levin).

Hello, Joe!!! I'm a huge brazillian fan of you, but unfortunately, I can't go in your São Paulo presentation, however I live near São Paulo, but I'll wait for the next oportunity to see you, and I hope you come back soon! My favorite albums are The Extremist and Surfing with the Alien, and my favorite songs are Satch Boogie, Always with Me, Always with You, Cool #9 and now Mind Storm. Your new album is great, I can't stop listen to it! Have a nice time here, Joe, let's rock São Paulo!!

Hey people, go over to DTs site, and read about all the stuff the Mike Portnoy impersonator was doing. Some of it was pretty scary. He did, however, draw suspicion to himself when he drummed for people, who found out that he was a rubbish drummer. Ha Ha I say.
Does anyone here have OSI? Do you think it's got quite a large chunk of Radiohead in it?

Did you know that the only of Matt Groening's musical heroes to work on the simpsons was Frank Zappa, but he got all the cancer and stuff before he had a chance to record his voice over? That's really sad (both for Frank and his fans (myself included)).

greg m - Yeah, that's just really sad. As a huge fan of BOTH it woulda been pretty sweet for me, that's for sure. You can catch Dweezil as the voice of Ajax on Duckman (theme song by Frank - one of his last projects) it's no substitute but good just the same.
Y'know what else is funny? I'm a "Greg M" too. No shit. Good name friend! (you don't wear a Zappa stash too, do you?!)
Pinhead!

I just have one question to ask as i am a begginer guitarist from england and love your music. What scales do you most commonly use? I know a few but i don't know if im missing any. I usally just use the minor pentatonic and blues scale but i know there are alot more. Thanks. Also, as i don't have alot of time to use the computer, could you email me at lhudson84@hotmail.com.
