962-Can't really help there, I'm partial to dual coils and especially to the Dimarzio Evolution line of pickups (I think I accidentally called them Dimarzio Edge pickups earlier LOL! Damn Old Age!).

Serak The Preparer- Thanks. My favorites by Joe? Well...hmmmm. There are quite a number but I'll name a few in the order that are my most favorite :)

1)Always With Me, Always With You 2)A Train of Angels 3)Boroque 4)Satch Boogie 5)Midnight

I have never heard Dream Theater; what cd should I get?

I wish Joe Satriani would come to Mordor.

Keihan - it's "Always with me, always with you." You got it back asswards.
There you go.

greg m - stu hamm's bass intro is pretty cool in summer song on G3 live. I am learning it (I primarily play bass.)

Tak krótko byles przy mnie
Tak krótko byles przy mnie
A wtedy byles dla mnie
Jak czerwone wino
Gdy nagle tak na fali gniewu
Poplynelam w slad za jednym
Twoim krokiem
Slowa nic nie moga
I nie one sa najwazniejsze
Kiedy duma stawia moje kroki
Choc Cie coraz mocniej czuję
I trace co bezpowrotnie minelo
Byles tak jak wino, czerwone wino... :(

Well... it has taken me long enough but I finally was able to get some stuff posted on the internet. I'll have to apologize ahead of time to those of you that have an affinity towards Clear Channel Communications... sorry.

I can be heard at http://newmusic.clearchannel.com/ you'll have to become a member but it's free and it only takes a second. Then you can hit http://newmusic.clearchannel.com/artist/drewryan and hear a few of my songs. Pay no attention to In This Life because it's coming down... it really sucks.

Any way, Dreams Of The Soul was inspired by my bassist. He said that he likes bass becuase you can play slap bass, you can't play slap guitar and I said screw that and wrote that song. It's a slower one but still inspired by Slap bass.

Darkening Skies was inspired by Joe's song Midnight and a near fatal case of the flu.

Enjoy and critique away!

Drew.

death cube K: The big 777 there, anyway, how did you fold up the page like that. By fold I mean f*ck but I say fold instead and it keeps me out of most trouble. Except for today, I'm explaining to a guy that we need to rebuild his crank and I explain to him that "Yeah, your rod is just all folded up." And he's like, "What? It's bent? It was still running just not very good, how did it get bent?" I started laughing and had to explain myself.

Clarky: Cool man, can't wait to hear it and I'll send you an email as soon as I get it.

Migupais: April 22nd is the day, can you just burn the song to CD and mail it Chris?

Keihan: For arthritic fingers I use the hot and cold method. 15 minutes of hot water and then 15 minutes of ice. Followed by slow stretching. It seem to do the trick for me.

Mr. Nick: Loved the job application. LMAO

Austin: Yeah I've heard some of RDG's stuff and it definately rocks, I just need to check out the live stuff he was talking about. And yeah, big pizza cookies rule

keihan However, a technique which is very Joe-like appears in the measures (...someday I'll wish upon a star and wake up where...) where Chris fingertaps and slides his R-hand index finger up to an indefinite point. thats more of a Van Halen trick dont ya think..( ice cream man, ect). also when was chris impelliterri in fates warning? do u even know who he is? have you ever heard malmsteen, tony macalpine, vinnie moore before?
trutina a folded rod , eh? rolflmfao?
austin i played the suhr stuff when it was pensa-suhr it was an awesome instrument then .

Oh yeah, it's a little known fact that he coined the phrase, "I am no orator as Brutus is....I only speak right on. I smack my bitch up!"
