Chris, What a great song to do for A levels! As long as its good, doesn't have to be perfect - but you'll fell better if you get the harmonics right i'm sure. When is the exam?

PhryDom - howsabout sharing up that history of FZ link? Sounds a might interesting.

Today was the GREATEST day, beautiful sunshiny day. Gazzoo & I had an appointment with the midwife, we cruised there listening to FIABD, perfect sunny day driving music btw, at the end of the appointment we got to hear our baby's heartbeat!!! Truly an amazing experience. I'm higher than a kite on life right now, drugs schmugs! ;O) 14 weeks now, approximately 1/3 of the way there. The baby kicked one time too, unless you've been there you can't possibly imagine what this feels like. Hooray for life!

smooches,

Hmmm, interesting T2J album titles. I don't remember seeing those ones. Oh well, I voted for "Blue Reflections".......

I picked up "Time Machine" on E Bay. It came in the mail today, can't wait to listen to it. It'll be my first time.....

Wow...nearly 200 posts in less than 36 hours. We're crazy.

Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is out, there's not a cloud in the sky, there's a nice breeze...it's perfect "Summer Song" weather...LOL.

I heard something on the radio this morning... The "real" Guns N Roses (not Axl or his "new" version of the band) recorded a few songs with Scott Weiland of STP. They covered Pink Floyd's Money, and did another song that will be on the Hulk soundtrack. That sounds pretty interesting...

ari3f - Hi...welcome to the site.

Mr Nick - Happy 1,000. I think this is the last of my "Happy _____" posts to you, because it takes too much time to type out a number, a comma, and then three more numbers. ;-)
greg m - Cheater! ;-)
alexandrecaetano - I just listened to your Hard As A Log song. I love the last six seconds of it...hehe. Your tone is really cool throughout... I think I still like The Waves Of Life more, but this one is really close. I can't wait to hear more from you.

What gear are you using? Guitar / Amp / Effects...

962 - Lonely In The Night is one of my favorite Eric Johnson solos as well.

Well, I have another 100 or so posts to read...but I'm feeling lazy. I'll catch up later tonight.

...Austin...

alexandrecaetano: Yeah man, I really like it. I still like Waves of Life a little more, but Hard as a Log is very very good.

Austin: I finally got the Yardbirds disc today! It rocks. I haven't listened to all of it yet, but so far my favorite track is "Mister You're A Better Man Than I" with Brian May. Killer stuff throughout though. Thanks for telling me about it. I'll post more on it later after I've gave it a few good listens.

Lord Of Karma6: Where did you find that pic of the JS-7. I'd pay just to see that guitar myself. I've always liked 7 string guitars. They offer more versatility. And no I'm not a recent bandwagon fan of 7 strings. Steve Vai and John Petrucci were using them before most people knew they existed. I've even had the pleasure of being able to play a 8 string guitar. They do exist.

I saw STP last year I guess. It was just a few days after Staley's body was found, whenever that was. Anyway, they opened with Shine On You Crazy Diamond in his memory. It sounded pretty good. The rest of the show went downhill though.

Great lookin JS-7string!!

Hey Joe! is that just a prototype with the blue quilted top?? or is that someones idea of what a JS 7string should look like? I noticed it didn't have the JS Series seal of approval!!

JOE WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RELEASE THE EXTRA BONUS TRACK "SLICK" FROM STRANGE BEAUTIFUL. WHEN YOU DO RELEASE IT COULD YOU MAKE A U.S. RELEASE AND NOT JUST A OVERSEAS EXTRA. I'VE HAD A HARD TIME FINDING YOUR JAPANESE RELEASE OF STRANGE BEAUTIFUL WITH "EIGHT STEPS".

Thanks AUSTIN, TRUTINA,DEATH CUBE K and ROKIN for your cool comments :).

AUSTIN - i use a Ibanez rg270 (for me is pretty cool), Marshall Bi-chorus Valvestate 160 Watts and a Multi-processor Digitech 2120 (it`s an amazing machine, you can do anything with this, i can programming all sounds, but it is a little expensive, you must pay $1500, i guess).

ROKIN - Welcome Boy!!

Yes, i agree with you, i prefer too "The Waves of Life" but i love all my songs. "Hard as a Log" is diferent but i love the melody and the riffs, the drums is pretty cool too. Thanks guys to express your thoughts.

Now it is 1:24 A.M. and i need to sleep, i`m a little tired, the day was hard. Tomorrow i will go to TOMAR, a beatiful city in the center of Portugal.

People, one more time, thanks for all, i never see you guys, but you are as a good friends for me.

JOE - How are you? Do you come to Europe this year? I hope so, it will be a great honor to see you again, i saw 2 times. Take care Alex

Jelly Man: forget it I'm not really interested in this discussion anyway. Just arguing for argument sake.

Welcome back Silmarien

I don't care for Metallica much, I have the "Metallica" album, mainly for nostalgic purposes. My ear isn't quite attuned enough to detect his "out of key" notes, but I don't doubt he does. I don't like their stance on the mp3 issue (and I love that napster bad series). It's quite obvious to hear that Kirk has a strong Satch influence. That's where I draw the line. To speak more truthfully the first line of this paragraph: "I hate Metallica", especially their popularity in the last 6-7 years. I haven't heard their early stuff but don't really care if I don't.

Sorry about the attitude, but it is washing day and there are thunderstorms outside.

Nick that driving thing was hilarious. Even without the sound (whether it made a difference or not)

McDave: it's different to the others...but I love it. (Time Machine, I mean)

Austin: the correct way to seperate groups of digits is no longer with a comma, but with a space: eg 12 345 678
