PhryDom - Thanks for the info...that's how I thought it was going to happen, but I wasn't sure.

greg m - Oh, are you talking about the post that ovation1 made earlier? LOL...I don't know why that didn't "click" in my head. Anyway, he said that it was a photo that I posted here a while ago...he didn't say it was me. ;-)
elpp - I didn't really like the statement at the end of the episode. I didn't find it funny, and it wasn't shocking because so many people have said the same kind of thing recently. A lot of fans on the internet are really going nuts about it, though...that's so pathetic. It's easy to see the statement from both a pro-American and anti-American point of view. I won't get into specifics here because it's best to keep politics off of this board...but yeah.

Again, let me know if you want VHS copies of any of the episodes from this season.

...Austin...

Hey whats up Joe? Just met you again yesterday at skips music in sacramento, your always cool. 5 years is a long time to wait! I'm in need of music studies now! I might not need you in 5 years hehe. My buddy busted out his Not of this earth record on you and I guess you had some explaining to do!! We would of stuck around and hung out but my klutz of a girlfriend (you met her, big ol' tall chick! :) fell down and jacked up her knee so we had to split. Oh well, got my video signed and shook the hand of the almighty legato machine! catch ya later Joe!

crushingday62 there was a problem with the master tapes of Talk To Me and so it didn't end up on Time Machine.

Just noticed talk2joe.com is down, but I can still ftp to it... I hate it when this happens... if anyone experiences similar problems please let me know (including date and time+zone) and I'll see what I can do to get some kind of SLA going for us. Thanks, Dave

I have found out that Pearl Jam is coming to Mexico, and also have found out that the price for the ticket is of 200 dlls (right in the front). This is quite expensive don't you think? Specially when I have to travel 8 hr drive or 11 hr by bus. After ten years of absence, they should charge less money.

OCPS - my playing sick??? now that's close mic'ing for you if you can actually hear me blowing chunks during the tricky parts... lmao..

I've been listening to that mix over and over... I'm much happier with it

Hat's off to you bro for sorting all this out too...

Alexandria - Justin is missed... a very cool guy indeed... best wishes to you....
ovation - I'll not tell you anything about De Molay until I send it... it's a surprise... lol....
greg - my knobs are small and green and there are two of them... I think that says something.. lol
r6r - way too much information is what Clarky's do the best... lol

on the DCB front... yup.. it's gone real quiet... I do know that I'm getting stick from the bassist to "hurry up and sort out your own crap 'cos we need you in the studio".... many months ago I re-wrote / re-arranged 21st Century Schitzoidman... David really liked it... and it's going on his album - which is taking even longer than mine lol lol...

death cube. damn those guitars are nice (as I'm wiping the drool off of my keyboard). It would be nice to have 6 or 7 grand to piss away on one. With that kind of money, a guy (or gal) could have a killer set-up. Hmmm, would I rather have a Marshall stack and a JS-1000BP, plus all the effects I could stand, or just one single "Chromeboy"? No contest, I'd go with the first option.....You can keep teasing me with those links anyways, damn it...lol.

The Prez - What chords in Hordes of Locusts are you talking about? I can play the song note for note. I played it live in December. http://richardhaier.iuma.com

There are some nasty sounding chords which use the top 4 strings. No big stretches required.

Satchfan - 10k. You ARE nuts. Man, you could bought a nice car and done some nice performance mods to it.

Jelly Man - Damn straight to Slow and Easy.

AUSTIN: I was surprised mainly because I didn't see it coming. I thought it was very funny when they formed the maple leaf, and then when it was over me and my wife were like stunned for a bit, and then she says "well, let's see if they don't cancel the show".

Other than that, you are correct. Politics don't belong here.

LARRY: Dude, good to see you're still around here.

Later.

elpp- just wondering - why don't you ever intend to see any of the Matrix movies? You sound like you have a grudge against it, I'm interested why.

I can understand people who tend to not give something that's popular/mainstreams a chance, but in some cases mainstream things are up there as the best. Simpsons for example, originally I thought it would just be a load of nonsense, but after a couple of episodes I was hooked cause it is very good. In a similar way, the Matrix is an excellent film. So if it's due to it's popularity, I'd just say you'd be missing out if you don't give it a chance.

So enough of my ranting... why is it?

to the Guitar tech masters, Joe signed the back plate of my Urge II bass yesterday on the medal back plate of the bass, I was wondering if or how fast it will rub off, & if there is any protectant I could put on it to help so it won't rub off without messing up his signature!, thanks, MegaBoyD

PAUL: Actually I'm not into movies in general. Nothing particular against the Matrix. I get bored sitting in one place for more than an hour. I can't even sit through a full soccer game on TV sitting down! But back to movies, I'd rather spend money and time doing other stuff.

Oddly enough, I started feeling this way ever since Leslie Nielsen decided not to continue doing the types of movies he was doing.

There goes any trace of credibility I had left. So forget I said that.

Later.
