Hello everybody, what a nice day here in Portugal, it is an amazing sunshine :)).
TRUTINA, DEATH CUBE K, ENGINES OF DREAMS, MR. NICK - thanks boys for checking my new song. Did you really like it?!?!? Tell me truth :)
ENGINES OF DREAMS - you are spanish?? I love Spain and FLAMENCO (VICENTE AMIGO, PACO DE LUCIA) lol. I was in Madrid in 2000 to see Joe`s concert, it was amazing, i can`t explain :)).
By the way, i never try to be like Joe, i try to do my own songs, but as you can see, i`m a big fan of JOE :).
MR. NICK - Yes, the sound is similar, but it`s a different stuff.
QUITO- amigo, I LOVE MY HAIR MAN, many person told me that i have similar aspects as JOE LOL, thanks anyway.
JOE - HOW ARE YOU DEAR FRIEND?

oh, man... our boss bought a pet shop by the sea (awwww.... how pretty! LOL!)... we were all set to move out there, checkled out some properties, etc.... then our boss calls and says he's been gazumped(sp) on the shop and so there's nowt! Argh! Plan so far is we stay here in Middx for as long as it takes (can't be more than a couple of months though), walking dogs, etc, until the boss finds another shop to buy... if he doesn't find one then I guess it's time for this 33 year old to admit defeat and go back to mum n dad's place......
on another note, though, I got some really good technique links from the vai message boards tonight.... and a link to a very interesting Zappa article, which itself had several links, so I'm stuck in hyperlink hell here.... but it's kinda fun! ;-)

question for all T2Jers who have met Joe..... after you met him did you write differently in here? Just wondering how I would react.... would he remember me? Should I still be how I was before? Should I address him as mate? Should I pretend it never happened but know deep inside that it did? Well.... back to the history of FZ... and I tell you what - it's very interesting reading! :-)
Oh, and by the way..... the PC holding those MP3s has crashed so I'm back to my normal listening..... Jimi, Joe, Matt King, gear demos, Clone1, me, and the latest addition - OllyNo1UK. Later everyone! Dave

Just called Roy in Spain and he couldn't stop laughing when I read some of the comments you all made. He appreciated your comments and hopefully he will join the group - it would be good to have him here. He does like Joe a lot. In fact, I met Roy for the second time going to a Joe concert in 1990. I met him for the first time at an Yngwie concert in 1990 - at which Roy walked out saying he could do better himself. I'll never forget that. Yngwie, as amazing as he is, was particularly bad that night messing up several times.
Anyway Thank again
Ronnie

Chris, What a great song to do for A levels! As long as its good, doesn't have to be perfect - but you'll fell better if you get the harmonics right i'm sure. When is the exam?

PhryDom - howsabout sharing up that history of FZ link? Sounds a might interesting.
Today was the GREATEST day, beautiful sunshiny day. Gazzoo & I had an appointment with the midwife, we cruised there listening to FIABD, perfect sunny day driving music btw, at the end of the appointment we got to hear our baby's heartbeat!!! Truly an amazing experience. I'm higher than a kite on life right now, drugs schmugs! ;O) 14 weeks now, approximately 1/3 of the way there. The baby kicked one time too, unless you've been there you can't possibly imagine what this feels like. Hooray for life!
smooches,

I picked up "Time Machine" on E Bay. It came in the mail today, can't wait to listen to it. It'll be my first time.....
