Some people have no taste in politicians. I mean look at the British public, for instance. How could they prefer His Toniness to a good guy like William Hague?

r6r seeing with these (sometimes needed) third pair of eyes.... is it really that important? A chest? A (f*****g) chandelier????? Get the house if it's what and where you want it.... go to Wickes or Focus or B&Q or whatever and get those fixtures (did you really want them anyway).... just my tuppence worth mate ;-) ..... and so.... countries with appealing politicians..... am I right in thinking..... Ms Staller?????

hey guys, it's been a v-e-r-y long time since I asked one of my daft questions.... so someone suggested I ask another..........

What is your favourite smell? And why?

I hope some of you guys will bother to answer... that was always a problem in the past!

Later peeps.... f**k know I need about ten millennia of beauty sleep!!! ROFL!!!!!! Dave :-)

DAVE Man, now that is what friends are for ;-) I'll tell you that Amanda can't stop me when i'm off on one but i have a feeling that you'd take me on in the flesh as well -lol. Dude that IS the most sense that anybody has made to me in a long time, what the f**k was i thinking ?! Takes one to know one i suppose - lmao - thanks a bundle dude :-)

Favorite smell ?............. hmmm tough one, boring and predictable but freshly cut grass that's been rained on, it just smells so fresh, clean and natural.................. oh yeah, and i love the smell of napalm in the morning................ roflmao

Later dude, thanks again.

btw - exacto on Ms Staller, part of your educational series no doubt ;-)

Edit -Back onto the smell question, there are certain smells that you won't smell very often that make you feel something deep inside, sense memories, man when you get a subconcious trigger that takes you back to when you can't remember, that feels good ;-) Other smells, asphalt got used to it working on the roads takes me back to when work was a laugh, somebody elses cigarette smoke outdoors drifting into your nostrils cos it never smells or tastes that sweet when you smoke (not that i can remember now!), Quality weed, it just smells great what can i say. Smoke from an open fire, warm cosy cottage feel. White musk, all the rage with the hippie / rocker girlies when i was a lad and so the list grows.......................... anyway man, what's your answer ?

My favourite smell is the smell of the favourite smell that I most like, which of course is, no doubt, my favourite smell. And you may ask: "What's your favourite smell?" And I may answer that there's no such thing as a favourite smell, but in fact there is such thing, and that thing is the smell that alerts my senses, the smell that makes me feel like flying, the smell that makes me feel smelly, the smell of smells, my favourite smell. A favourite smell is a smell that slowly becomes your favourite as you grow up, and of course it can't be a common smell, because if it were so your nose would get tired of it and it would become a no-smell smell. And no-smell smells can't be favourite smells, 'cause you can't smell a no-smell smell, so first of all a favourite smell has to be a smell that smells like something, and that something has to produce an unusual smell that makes you feel all smelly and stuff... And that would be definitely your favourite smell, once you smell it a couple of times, 'cause you can't smell something once and say "this is my favourite smell", 'cause you're not sure, you have to check again and try other smells produced by different types of smelly smell-producing objects or substances. Anyway, that one is definitely my favourite smell.

Here's a little short story, more of a pity party for me.....I met this really cool girl about a month ago, her name is Jen. Anyhow, I knew when I met her that she was planning to move to another part of the country at the end of this month. We enjoyed being with each other, and as it always goes, we kind of grew attached to each other. Anyways, as fate would have it, she has to leave earlier than expected :( It really sucks bad....

Anyhow !!!! On a lighter note, our band has reformed and we are playing Memorial Day Weekend. Damn I love Rock n Roll......its the only thing that is a sure bet for me in my life.

Hey Joe. I really admire your music, you are incredibly talented. I have a question for you. Ive been playing guitar for 4 years now (7 years of bass) my ear used to be really good but for the time being it has completely left me. i was wondering if you could tell me what Key and mode you played in when you did the Frank zappa cover "my guitar wants to kill your mamma" with Vai and Johnson. I enjoy your engines of creation pages in guitarworld. much thanks Chris

Well, I seem to listen to public radio a lot these days.

3 hours of morning jazz. Sweet.

And friday night blues. Oh man! Song of the Day: Bullfrog Blues played by Dave Hole.

Nothing like hearing blues-shred at 11:00 pm on a friday night.

And certainly, I'd rather listen to classical music instead of that horrible nu-metal crap. Rock radio has become unbearable.

Anyone else here listens to public radio? Off to soccer. Later.

Joe- Did you use that Harmonizer thing on mindstorm? That is really kool i might get one after I get some more money saved up after my daughter is born. anyway.

How do you like using the seven string? Speaking of that. Korn did a tribute song of "One" at this Metallica tribute thing on M2. Dude I didn't think those guys could even play solos. I love the seven string. You can do So much with it if you use every string and not just the low "b". lol. Oh I got the Live in Sf dvd finaly. I love the potato head groove thing where you grab the neck and run that scale. I tried it, but my amp doesn't have that kind of sustain and I don't know what scale you are running. cuz I'm not that educated in theory. lol. But it does sound really good anyway. well gotta jet.

Tony Vaughn.

Clarky: Yeah I like the new mix better, it sounds crisper and full. Don't know why though, I can't cite anything specific.

greg m: That's one hell of a cool English teacher. My English teacher had never heard of Floyd. Or music for that matter lol

PhryDom: My favorite smell? Good weed when freshly lit. Sorry to offend anyone, but I grin just thinking about it. Speaking of which.....

Elpp: Yeah I listen to some public radio but not real often. I rarely listen to the radio at all, but here on friday nights, they play 2 hours of Zappa so I usually try to catch that. I hardly ever listen to regular stations.

alexandrecaetano: Cool, that's good to hear.

JSClone: Release date? I don't know. Soon. We gotta get the artwork lined out and should be ready to rock.

OK, I gotta go for now, got cotton mouth and all.

If you can get a pizza, furniture, appliances, car, or whatever else you can think of delivered to your home, why in the hell can't you get beer delivered? They could check your ID when they brought it. Think of the tips the drivers would make delivering to drunks. And they could deliver anything that's normally in a liquor store: Peanuts, beef jerky, pig rinds, chips, cigarettes, etc. What is wrong with a good wholesome idea like that?
