Hi!

trutina- :/ Well, you can always ask a friend or someone if he/she can borrow a mic for a minute. :p Or buy a $2 crappy pc mic! lol! :)

to anyone that's interested- just recorded a new song. I uploaded it just now, so if you don't see it featured, it's on album 1 and it's called "Climbing Up The Wall". This is more of a pop thing, with lyrics and two solos. It's the first time I make the drum track with real samples, but it sucks... :p ok.. it's not midi, but it still sounds a bit like it... Anyway, listen with your own ears, please please check it out and tell me what you think. :)

Dave I'm sorry that i wasn't on line to read that post about your Dad. It's a bridge that i have yet to cross and one that i know has life changing effect on you, my wife's Mum died when she was 23 (my wife that is) and i see her carry it with her day to day, but it's not all bad, i'm sure that the perspective that it can give you on life can benefit your own exsistence. I'm sure that your Dad was a wonderful man and i'm sure that you have got a lot of his traits, i am having a drink as i type so here's to your Dad, rest in peace.

Kell Sincere condolences man, nothing else to say.

Mowlie Happy belated birthday man. ;-)

962 / Trutina Yeah JB kicks ass, i have seen her live and by virtue of the fact that i'm not prepared to tell you when in here, you should be able to figure it out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOTD - The Grouch - Green Day - just suits my mood.

Clarky it's quite some time since anyone accused me of being man enough for anything! LOL...but yeah - good tensions, good swearing(!!!!), and (for some) good release.... maybe the rest will be found with Vito Bratta supping Tennents Super while asking for the price of a cup of tea ROFL

Guitarslut I don't use any kind of guitar amplification. It's all preamps and stuff into a desk. After the desk there's an audio-level-increasing-kinda type amplifier. It's known as an aiwa XA-003. Everyone else? guitarslut asked what amplification do you use?

Hiram regardless of your thoughts, please don't call people names here. Apart from the slander stuff it's just not nice. You called Clarky a liar. You don't know that Clarky is (or is not) Avarice. Neither do I. I have sent emails to and received emails from both people (even if they are the same person) and I reckon they're probably so close to have been separated at birth (except Avarice's spelling is always better ROFL)!!!. But at the end of the day, what does it matter? Clarky is some kind of guitar type guy, respected here (and elsewhere I imagine), and Avarive/VBIL isn't. Well not in the same way ;-) Just ask yourself - is it worth it? It's a computer keyboard, a mouse, a screen and a (n annoyingly noisy)box... it's not the end of the world. There are tons of people you do/will meet online that "rub you the wrong way" (if only Ms Aguilera were here :->).... don't feed the troll dude! There are more important things!

Supper's Ready amazing. inspired. unequalled. not-to-be-missed. And I hope that they put extra jalapenos on it. ;-)

Hiram your number plate tells me you're in the the UK?

miguel I don't think it's a bad idea... let's see what the others think.......

Mr Nick good video..... amusing and still (dare I say it) racist. Well done.

Paul thanks man. I appreciate that.

Well that's me for today.... busy days this week, and (hopefully) some good news by the end of it.... I'm keeping em crossed... tell you what though, John McLaughlin is one deep guy! Later everyone... Dave

r6rocker You wen't to a Michael Jackson concert. Didn't you. You also listen to Greenday. Oh dear.

alexandre/migupais When are you guys on the radio?

tonecapone I know that once fender made a cheaper telecaster and they took out the string through bit - I presume they had a normal tailstop - and it apparently really ruined the sound.

LGU nothing happened to Rubina, I'm going to give the site the benefit of the doubt at this point and say they were mistaken when they printed that she had passed away. But it wasn't true, she is alive and well.

Top 5 Satch Albums...

1 - Crystal Planet - not enough can be said, it's a brilliant and inspiring album. 2 - FIABD - again not much I can say that will do this album justice. Joe has played some melodies on this album that can send chills down someone's spine! 3 - The Extremist - a bit more upbeat but still full of emotion. 4 - Red Album - I still think this is one of Joe's most impressive works, it can be the mainstay of what you're listening to, or it can just sit in the background while you're doing other things - not many artists can accomplish that with the same set of songs. 5 - SBM Great tracks and a wonderful collection of styles may be the first downfall for this record as mentioned earlier, all songs are great great great, but flow is very difficult to obtain in an album with widely varying styles. Second downfall is the mix - my copy is just a bit too hot in some places; it's a LOUD recording that sometimes pushes Satch's finer points on the back burner for too long.

Sorry to all the EOC fans, Joe's live versions of these songs rock much more than the originals. Attack kicks major ass as does Champagne...but it's just not in the top 5 for me.

Have a great day everybody!

SJ

sharif not only did u kill it but u made some very vailid points bout SBM not sayin i cud do better but the mix on some of the songs 'crowds' out some of the finer points if u get wot i mean. however most of those songs cud stand on there on own so still a mint album!
