My Song of the Day: "Sword into the Wind" by Manowar off of their newest album WARRIORS OF THE WORLD
"I will lead the charge
My sword into the wind
Sons of Odin fight to die and live again
Viking ships cross the seas
In cold wind and rain
Sail into the black of night
Magic stars our guiding light"

Matt: what in God's name would make you sell your precious 6100? Even if you do need the money, it's not worth giving up a tonal tool. Just think about it before you go through with it...even if you get another 6100 sometime down the road that doesn,t guarantee it will ever sound the same as the one you have now.

Phrydom: I'll also raise a toast to your dad, tonight. I know how you feel, well at least in a way. I lost my mom 6-26 of 2k. Yeah.... I know, two weeks. :(
You shouting at the tele reminds me of Vivian, of "The Young Ones". I loved that show. Remember when he destroyed the tv? Almost as funny as the hot-rodded vacuum cleaner.

Matt, do you have any other amps other than the Fender and Marshall? Will it be no amps for a while, or just no 6100? Well, I warned you guys about Satch and Vai showing up at NGW MONTHS ago, but I guess I'll be the only on there now!!! I'll be sure to update Joe on T2J.

Just wanted to let you guys know that after really messing around with a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and recording it that it is just a briliant amp. Sounds great at any volume, pushes a lot of volume, sounds great through my 4X12 cab. Also, it (unlike a lot of fenders) works very well with distortion pedals. It seems to just add sustain and warmth to the basic character of the box you put in front of it. I wouldn't have thought these amps would be good for technical rock, but boy was i wrong!

Congrats to Roger Clemens for getting his 300th win tonight at home in New York against the Cardinals. He pitched a great game, also getting his 4,000th strikeout.
I saw him pitch a great game at Fenway Park a few years ago, right before the Red Sox traded him to the Yankees. He's such an awesome pitcher.
Did anyone on the east coast happen to see the game? It wasn't televised out west. I'll have to catch highlights on ESPN later tonight.

Mowlie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Today while driving to work I put on my EOC 2000 Tour tape I made from the set list of that tour. I haven't listened to it for a few weeks. Let's just say, I drove to work with a serious grin on my face listening to TIME. That song kicks my ass every time! LOL!

Yep, Time is an effin' great tune. I will never forget how that tune set off what was, without a doubt, the best concert experience of my life. EOC at the House of Blues made me love that song.

I'd like to see Joe do a brief minute or so of a cosmic Hendrix Tribute somewhere, anywhere on the new CD. A Hendrix tune but Joe style with all the latest technology and of course at light speed with like way too many extra notes between each riff. That would be pretty cool, Jimi would have liked that.

Ovation1: Wow! I've always wondered if Iby would make an affordable fixed bridged PGM (thinking of PGM10th--by the way, how is your PGM10th??) Finally! The PGM301!! But at 180,000 yen, I don't think I can afford one... Oh, and if all goes well, I should be in Tokyo on the 28th of June to 1st of July.
Oh look! Post #400!! weeeeeeeeeee~*

Thanks everyone for your great support last night, it definitely made me feel better :-) I just got a new printer and printed onto photo paper a pic of Dad Mum & Me two weeks before he went away. We took them for a holiday and they had a wonderful time. The pic's a bit blurry, but it looks great to me :-)
Kelly that sucks. My thoughts will be with you. I never really watched The Young Ones, but I'm a huge Bottom fan (Bottom the show, not Bottom the anatomy part!). I saw it live three times too!
Aarren happy belated birthday!
/\/\ike yeah the cover voting's still open. It's looking like a head to head with three fronts and (I think) four backs at the moment... ;-)
Narface Happy 400!
