greg m - I've tried that with other things and it doesn't really work. I guess the input jack on my soundcard is crappy.

Templar - I don't know what to say, other than Joe is definitely one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. If he plays down in Australia, I'm sure you'll get the chance to hang out and chat with him for a few minutes. He always makes time for his fans after his shows, which is really cool.

Do a Google search for some Satriani interviews. Reading what Joe says (or listening to what he says, if you can find a downloadable clip) may help you see how cool / calm / relaxed / friendly / fun Joe is.

Mr Nick - Kazaa works for most people. If it doesn't work for you, maybe you could ask someone to email it to you separately...IF it even appears on Kazaa in the first place.

surferdave- It's the wah pedal Joe is using. Yeah, I also thought Joe wasn't hitting the strings, but then I tried and tried and almost no sound came out... I tried looking closer and it seemed Joe was hitting the strings with his hand or something... don't know... but yeah, maybe he doesn't hit the strings at all and I just can't do it because I'm not Joe... :p

Matt King- Great tune! :) Really warm and relaxing! Give it a chorus or a phrase that doesn't leave the ear and you've got a Grammy! :p Loved the tone!

Well, I'll just go stuuuuuuuudy now...

Nick People at the top of my road get C5, but down the hill here, we don't get a signal. I don't have Kazaa, either. Would there be any chance of someone hosting it on a website, or maybe I'll use my brother's MSN messenger account, if anyone else gets it.

Clarky - That guitar looks sooooooooooo cool!!! Worth the wait, I bet. And what a long wait it was...

Mr. Nick - You know I was saying I might not be back at ACM in September because of monetary problems? Well, they're all sorted. I'll be there, doing a degree in something I love more than life itself. A huge weight has been lifted. See you in September, man!!!!!!!

My finals have started. I just finished my first exam - Music Business Studies. Not the most fun subject, but it's out of the way now. However, I do have another two weeks of exams, so I won't be in here for a while. Not that it was an amazingly regular ocurrance anyway...

NM

P.S. - Where can I buy the T2J CD?

Matt, nice tune. The melody reminds me of the Skid Row song I Remember You. At 14 seconds I almost expected Sabastian Bach to start singing "I woke up to the sound of pouring rain" lol! Good tune though. Nice & mellow.

Templar, you wouldn't have to tie Joe down. LOL! He'd gladly answer your questions for you. Do you have any of Joe's other videos ~ The Satch Tapes or Reel Satriani? They're older than LISF, but you get a sense of what kind of guy Joe is. His drummer Jeff Campitelli is a sweetheart too. ha! Well, I'm a girl so I can say that, but coming from one of the guys it would sound kinda strange. Stu is a nice guy, and funny too, but I hear he can get moody (although he's always been great when I've seen him). I haven't met Matt or Galen yet, but they seem like great guys too and they have good stage presence. I really enjoyed watching Matt during the last G3 show. He's pretty funny. I hope you get your wish to meet them someday :)

nick Yes, I'll probably get my own msn account, but then I may start using it, and I spend enough time on the net anyway. Hey, after thursday its summer, and what is summer for apart from getting a crappy job and wasting time anyway? That'll be okay then.

yoda That sounds great. Good luck with exams. What did you do to get some money, place a bet with Keith Richards that you could outshred him or something?

Ovation! Tony is good.A while ago I learned Autumn Lords for a friend, and I was impressed by the playing in it.A little silly sounding, but I like to think of it as a video game tune, lol.

He actually plays CARVIN guitars now, he hasn't played those peaveys for a few years, probably since the first Cab record.

Matt - Listening to the new melody. Now, I don't know if you realized this but this song sounds way too much like Joe Satriani - Home. The similarities are just too much. The melody is similar and even some of the chord root changes. The only thing different honestly, is the strumming pattern. I think it's a little too predictable/corny of a pattern though. You've done the rhythm before in Celestial love song. Actually aside from a slight tempo difference, the strumming pattern is almost exactly the same. Sorry man, reminds me way too much of songs already done.

I'm still waiting for you to complete "New Idea", the classical melody I always rave about.

A lot since my last post ....I ´m astonished .I mean..Yesterday I went to a Music Shop to see a guitar contest and there was this amazing guitar player but i mean amazing!!I I had the chance to talk with him later. He´s 23 and he is about 5' 1'' of height!!!!(1.55 mtrs.) and he has a band where he´s the frontman. I mean wow maybe I´m kinda ignorant but it was really strange to see this little guy playing in such a way the guitar..and I think everyone else in the shop was as astonished as me! .He wins the contest and 5000 USD in merchandise....I think he has a webpage ..if I find it I will post it here.

Fusion - I'm a fan of Tony Mcapline, Greg Howe & Jason Becker as well. Jason holds a place in my heart. I used to play a bunch of Cacophney (spelling ?) tunes with a buddy of mine. I learned Serenna a few years ago. It's a cool peice. Right now I'm working on Air. When I get it done I'm going to post it on my IUMA page. Seriously though warm up before playing this stuff. Vitto Bratta can't even play guitar anymore because he messed up his hand. I listened to your IUMA page....... you play well. My advise to you (this isn't a put down) is to take all those influences you have & create your own sound. Also expand the musical genres you listen to. The 80's thing is cool but how many of the Shrapenel Records guys are still around ???????? The more music & influences that you take in the better.

ToneCapone isn't the ESP H202 a signature? or is it different from the KH202? Well, if it is a sig, it's probably going to be the best since signatures often tend to be a little better.

That said, the S is a good guitar. you should also have a gander at the Ergodyne guitars. They're really nice.

Crushingday, hehehe! fair play man!
MegaBoyd, that's pretty cool. how do you change what it says tho? Bet you were chuffed about how much screentime you got! hehe
Do The Stu, cheers for the explanation. It was puzzling me and starting to irritate me slightly cuz I didn't know how it was done! It's pretty cool, but I bet it isn't cheap?!
