michelle- My thoughts exactly about the Zeppelin DVD's. "In My Time Of Dying" is my favorite tune, the whole thing is so tremendously awesome.

When I first got into Led-Zeppelin I took the whole pile of KISS albums I had out to the road and sailed them like frisbee's down the street and smashed them on the road.

This action was not to say KISS sucked as much as it was a statement that I had found myself musically.

Hi everyone... I'm completely caught up now...haha. Yeah, it took me a while. I've been SO busy lately...I've been working all week. I just got a job stocking shelves at Wal-Mart (go ahead, laugh all you want). I'll be working 40 hours each week until the end of August. I get paid $8 an hour, so, even though the work is hard, it's very worth it.

I need to save most of the money for school, but I plan on spending about $500 on a really cool bass-related thing for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on something fun? If not, I might just buy myself a spiffy Hartke amp.

Summer is here, so everyone should pull out Summer Song and give it a listen.

It looks like the NASCAR race will air on Fox at 12:30 Pacific time... They air the anthem sometimes, so it might be worth tuning in.

MegaBoyd - I'm almost positive Joe has mentioned owning a PS2 back in the old T2J days.

GUTTERbOY - LOL...that's a great quote.
ovation1 - Thanks for the cool clock.
matt king - Happy 500!
michelle - Once again, Led Zeppelin rocks... :-)
Mr Nick - The DT / Turtles thing was funny. Thanks.
Gammamute - You can get good tickets to most of Joe's shows for around $50. He plays a lot of dinner theaters, and those tickets can be more expensive (closer to $100) because they require the purchase of a meal as well.

crushingday62 - I feel very confident in saying that no, this new anthem won't show up on the website here. I'd like to see it, but I don't think it'll happen. I just hope it'll be on TV for those of us in the US.

Anyway, it's late...I'm off to bed.

PLUM LOCO - No problem man, i was thinking, send me a riff or a song and i will do a solo there :)). Man, can you sign my IUMA? I´d love it, you are great :). Thanks a lot!!!

Iambic - The 11th of E is A in the next octave. Since the open A string is in the same octave as the low E string, considering the low E string in the root note, it is instead called Emin7add4. A is E's 4th. Hence 'add4'.

Guitarcake - I found a chord that involved using the outside knuckle on the backside of one's finger behind the fingernail. You also have to bar 2 strings on the 7th fret with your pinky. It's a dominant7, 6 string bar chord but there's a 7th on the Low E string. In the key of Dmajor (A mixo), the chord would be (starting from Low E) frets---3, 7, 7, 6, 5, 5---

crushingday62 - yeah i took that music exam - were you taking Edexcel... A2? I did two questions on Debussy, two on stravinsky, then large ensemble. I found that ok. Like the aural? Gotta love that ragtime. Though they should give students an hour for that exam.

Guitarcake / Crushingday - Heh, I should throw a video of that chord on my stupid shred video clip site. Yeah it hurts a bit but it's not out of reach. I came up with it when I was playing a song with my Low E string dropped a whole step and the chord sounded cool. Then I realized I had to play a song in standard tuning. How else could I play the chord?

Haha, i'm surprised people actually care enough for the chord video. Ok i'll probably make it too. Remind me if it's been long and it's not up yet.
