Joe needs to do a free concert in Africa. I'm not from there but I know if Joe does something like that there will be like 2 or 3 million people there. Who else in history has ever performed in front of that many people? Besides maybe a few TV Evangelists? Anyway I think it would be a breath of fresh air for the whole continent. Those people over there could use some Blue in there life to make things better. I mean for the Love of God there are still slaves in Africa. When most of thought that all ended a long time ago. That country needs some good positive beautiful energy, like what Joe could provide. I know it sounds a little loco, but think of all the possiblities. I know if I were somebody with Joe's status I would go for it. I mean wherelse can somebody play in front of over 1 million pople at a time? It would be a groundbreaking moment in History. Peace

I recently downloaded a video off Kazaa by Yngwie Malmsteen called "Arpeggios From Hell". I also got a Paul Gilbert video called "Vivaldi's Four Seasons", which seems to be off the same video as the Malmsteen one, judging by the "temple" backrounds and the Chinese/Japanese subtitles. If anyone knows what this lesson video is called, let me know. It looks pretty helpful, especially now since I've started to add "classical-shredding" into my playing vocabulary.

Satriani went on to travel the world, living for a time in Japan and California. He finally settled in Presidio Heights in the San Francisco area of California with his wife and son. He shares a love of sports with his eight-year-old, who likes baseball and basketball, as well as video games and snorkeling in Hawaii and Mexico. Satriani especially likes winter sports such as snow boarding. His household is complete with a Mexican Rosy Boa and a Miami Phased Corn snake.

Hiram- I have a 2112, same as 2120 but with different artist presets. I love my unit.
Joe just sold his 2112 on ebay for $450.00 U.S. I wish I could get a hold of who ever bought it so I could get Joe's user presets.
The 2120/2112 is an awesome unit. I would check out ebay to see what they've been going for used to give yourself a good idea of what a fair price would be.
Don't forget the "Control One" pedal board. it's a must have, if your going to buy a 2112/2120.
We ain't seen no blue around these parts in a long, long time now. So..., just where did you go cotton eyed Joe?

so..... nothing new then....... Avarice still talking anally, trying to catch something.... one-offs asking about goodness knows what, regulars talking amongst themselves about anything..... and still no Joe no blue no Brigden no Luini..... I tell you what.... if I ever found myself a comfortably well-off person with security for me & my family for life and world respect as a pure result of my fans (OK maybe a little cos I'm good at playing guitar!).... I wouldn't piss on them. But that's just me. Have fun, peeps and take care. Catch you all soon. Dave
trutina maybe we should just put out the CD anyways (once all the money comes in!)... we can call it "International Guitar Players Get Sick Of Being Promised Things That Never Happen". The cover can be a picture of anything but Joe or anything to do with Joe, cos he let us down so badly.

Ovation: New tunes still aren't up yet, iuma's doing some sort of server maintenance so it's been down all weekend. I did another song today. Trying to improve my low-speed accuracy, it's getting a little better. This time I had a muse for the tune though, so maybe that's the difference. Anyway, I'll post a shameless plug when they're all up.
Clarky: I have a real hard time changing tempo with my picking hand when playing leads for some reason. It's hard for me to go back and forth between high and low speeds between measures for some reason. Some sort of mental block I think. Any suggestions?
Mr Nick: That beer quote is so true. For the most part anyways. If it isn't water, then it's piss. lol I'll leave the beer brewing to the Germans, Irish and English.
anibur: You keep finding the coolest interviews, thanks for posting them. Cool stuff.
PhryDom: We'll get it all sorted I'm sure lol
