/\/\ikey thanks for that! Good call :-)
quito good question!
gA6O I have the MIDI file for that, and can probably create a backing track for you. My music PC isn't on my network right now, but email me if you have no luck elsewhere and I'll sort something out.
greg m good answer!
trutina and T2J outstanding payment peeps click here to pay your fee by credit/debit card... and re: the extras.... glad you liked em!!! :-)
Aarren that stinks big time about you being ripped off... perhaps I was too hasty in my post (but hey - if I wasn't it wouldn't be me, right? lol)..... without getting into a worn-out discussion on copyright (again lol) as long as you can prove the existence of your track at a certain time you're pretty safe.... let the lawyers do the rest (if it ever comes to that)... but more importantly (and YES i know i've said this so many times, but it's certainly relevant...) if we had the backing we were promised your point would be negated - (AFAIK) we were promised exclusive publishing by Strange Beautiful Music (ASCAP) and then nothing happened..... but I believe there's a reason for everything... maybe Joe has a trick up his sleeve or something anmd doesn't want to spoil the surprise just yet..... who knows.... either way, I understand where you're coming from, but at the end of the day as far as the CD is concerned the last thing we need right now is another spanner in the works.... no offence man.... we just wanna get it out (ooh errr fnarr fnarrr etc lol)
Me personally I think that Joe still feels kinda stung about SBM being leaked in (I think) April last year. He's been making a new album without telling anyone so that it's a TRUE new unheard album. And for me, that rules. If it's not true, then I'm wrong (lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Easy everyone.... Malmsteen to quit early for G3 :-P

Hey Joe... I love your music...keep it up. And I can't wait for the 3 of you G's to come to LA. I think Yngwie will add a different flavor to your music... but I still think you guys are gonna rock our socks. Good Luck Joe.

Here's my latest T2J Poll...
If people think that Yngwie Malmsteen will quit the G3 tour early on the account of him confirming he's a supreme asshole? say: Yngwie Sucks!!
If people think that Yngwie Malmsteen will stick it out for the whole tour and actually surprise the heck out of us? say : Well great horny toads, how be about that...

Plum Loco, that's kind of a rude poll. lol! Does Malmsteen quit in the middle of every tour or something? I'd have to answer you poll with " well polish my balls and make me a milkshake".
I don't think Joe is going to pick a guy he thinks is going to walk in the middle of a tour. It happened with EJ, and Joe was pretty upset by it, but recovered nicely with KWS. We all know as good as EJ is, he does have some issues about playing live. I think this G3 will turn out pretty cool, even though YM wouldn't have been my first choice. That's my 2 cents :)

Yngwie won't quit this, barring unforeseen circumstances. He only ended his last tour because the singer pissed off and took the drummer with him. Other than that, he loves to play live, and will get a kick out of playing for a G3 crowd. This show will be as good as the last G3 with JP.

SMITHERS- dont know if anyone answered your question or not, but G3 is usually longer than what you saw on the video...each guitarist does a set then they all play a few... not as long as they would play solo though, about an hour each then an hour together....around there]
SINATRA- i guess so huh....
well i just got back from 2 days at disneyland, too many people, too hot and too many 12 year olds in strollers. the rollercoaster at california adventure was down yesterday and today! how sucky...the only GOOD ride over there, so we went on splash mountain like 5 times in a row.... we got the special assistance pass so we could go right on the ride without waiting, woohoo... my fav ride at disneyland = pirates of the caribbean...
when we were boarding the tram to go to the car they were playing dancing in the streets (van halen version) over the P.A system....which was fitting, cause when i got to the car i was dancing in the streets...

Im also quite curious to see what songs they all perform together. If anyone wants to drop me an e-mail its satchblix@hotmail.com

Sorry to offend gang... but... that's my 2 cents worth...
I walk a fine line with Yngwie in the conversation... I respect what he does on stage and in the studio but the guy talks too damn much... I can't get over it... Sorry... As Frank Zappa said "Shut Up, And Play Yer Guitar"
I will still buy a ticket for G3, go see him and get right into what he's doing just as much as Joe & Steve, but all the damn interviews I've seen him in and read all the articles on him, it's just too darn much to deal with...
I guess what I'm trying to say is that Attitude should play a little into what goes on in the music business... In one stand point I guess you have to have a hard edged attitude to succeed in the business... and on the other hand, don't you think a gracious attitude and a little common decency can go a long way?? Accepting a pat on the back can come natural, demanding a pat on the back is another thing...

Luke the Duke, it was Eric's decision to leave the tour. As I remember, he didn't think he was good enough or getting enough crowd responce or something? Joe asked him to stay, but he didn't. Does anyone else remember the reason Eric left and what happened there?

Trutina - 16 valves are very hard to come by now a days. I have found an 8 valve but the car is really messed. I have also found several MkIII VR6 GTIs. I am kind of at a point where I have to decide if I just buy a MkIII Golf CL (I hate power this and automatic that... not to mention auto trannies) and drop a VR6 (yeah yeah, tranny and ECU aswell) in it or buy a MkII Golf and do the same VR6 drop... OR, just buy a MkIII VR6. Ugh, insurance...
Nothing beats a MkII with a VR6 conversion... and that's not even gutted or tuned.
A gutted MkIII VR6 does the 1/4 mile in less than 13 seconds (STOCK ENGINE)
I care about building a serious slalom car before getting something that's fast in the 1/4.

michelle - EJ didn't quit mid-tour, did he? He may have done a leg's worth of dates and then said "I'm done" when Joe wanted to go through the US again, but I don't think he quit after committing to more dates...? I'm a big EJ fan and I've never heard the story told that way.
Then again, I didn't become a Satch fan until after that G3 tour...so I might be wrong. In fact, it was the G3 album that turned me on to Joe's music. Anyway...I'm rambling...LOL.

mowlie2000: It's all good man, I'll see if I can't get something sorted in the next couple of days.
Mick 87: Oh yeah, if I were Joe, I'd probably be on vacation more often than not. Actually, probably more like full time vacationer would be my appropriate job title.
Danny K: I got your payment today, thanks man!
Stu Clone: I guess it's pretty safe to say that I've paid lol. Track #14
Matt: Personal checks are fine, or use PhryDom's link. Also, I know exactly what you are saying as far as having a feel for a certain guitar. Some guitars are just that, guitars. Other's are an extension of your true being that express your feelings better than your own voice. It's not like you can feel comfortable using someone else's larynx. Some things just feel right.
PhryDom: Thanks again dude.
Alexandre: Somehow I've managed to miss the link to the interview. Can you post it again?
michelle: I'm somewhat concerned about what balls you may or may not be polishing lol!
JS Clone: In my opinion, the 8 valve cars are really underestimated in their potential. Try not to look at it as settling for a lesser powerplant. In a 2 valve per cylinder application, traditionally speaking, they provide more bottom end torque than a 4 valve per cylinder arrangement. At lower rpms, it takes more power away from the engine to turn double the rocker arms on the 16 valves. The 8 valves are thus much more responsive and better suited to feed in that power range. More valves generally means more top end power, but unless you spend all of your time at redline, it's less efficient power per cc. High horses are good, but torque takes you through corners.
