I went onto Ticketmaster.com and purchased tickets. You should be able to. I think the fan club database is somehow connected with the presale so if you are a fan club member and when you access ticketmaster with the same email address that you register with the fan club you should be able to purchase tickets. Sorry I couldn't be more help. It is not reserved seating just general admission so you don't have to worry about that.

New G3 dates are up at Vai's site. G3 is going to be in Toronto Novemeber 6 and in Montreal November 7. I'm going to see G3 on Thursday and then Paul Gilbert and Mike Portnoy's Led Zep tribute in Montreal the next night. Satch, Vai, Malmsteen and Gilbert all in the same city at the same time. It's too bad those Montreal people have to choose between shows. It worked out perfect for me.

Happy 100 Axmnjr
brick I would love to see Al Di Meola in G3. Or Jeff Beck. Failing that, Paul Gilbert. Having John Petrucci or Robert Fripp again would also be cool. As it is, we're stuck with the Fury Meister Yngwie, oh well, even though it could now be called S3 for shred 3, it should still be fairly interesting, he's better than some people who have been suggested. What a pity it won't come to UK.
Al Di Meola or Jeff Beck for G3! They are the true guitar virtuosos.

greg m..not entirely..we're still looking for more funding..and its getting very annoying that we cant get anything..the ACM are helping too but we're pretty much on our own. most of it is the systems fault....if i got a student loan..we wouldn't be worrying so much about the finacial situation.

nick So you mean that you don't get a student loan - you have to get one with a nice fat interest rate? That's really gay. I know someone who's going to music college in leeds, adn I think he gets all the normal subsidies and loans, but then again, I think what he is doing is linked to Leeds Uni, and also his family have loads of money, so maybe he doesn't get the stuff but it doesn't matter much. Was it your LEA which said they wouldn't support you, and for what reason? If this is the case, try writing to John Clare, education editorat the Telegraph, ditto Chris Woodhead at the Times. Its amazing how often they get letters about LEAs saying things like this which turn out to be pure bullshit.
master yoda What happens with your fininces and the ACM?

Greg M,
I'm so psyched about Hammer of the Gods. I was supposed to go to the Beatles tribute with PG and MP a few months back but couldn't make it. There's no way I'm missing this one. It will be my first time seeing Paul Gilbert live. The only thing better would be seeing Paul play with Satch or Vai. I've had wet dreams about seeing Paul, Tony and Vai play The Attitude Song and Vai or Satch sitting in on Scarified.

Everyone who keeps asking - Go to the website for 107.7 The Bone and you can listen to Rockline live over the internet. You may have to wake up in the middle of the night because of the time zone difference, but you can do it.
the_whitterer - This was designed to be a free-for-all, and most of us seem to like it how it is now. Just go ahead...jump in and try to keep up.
migupais - Welcome back!
Steva - Most of the presales don't require a password. If a password is needed, it is usually "guitar". The Ticketmaster site and this site are not linked in any way.

greg..we're trying to avoid loans with big fat interest rates....i think the reason i haven't got a student loan is that my course is further education not higher education. it was the LEA that refused to help us. its pretty obvious with the amount of costs we have to pay and we have a low income that we need finacial help..its damn stupid they turn around and say no. we've written to our local mp who in turn wrote to the educational minister....that didn't do alot..i dont think writing to newspapers will do alot...unless they pay me for a few hundred pounds for my letter to be printed

I mean, there are a lot of times when the lea is actually wrong, and it needs someone independent to tell them. The education minister won't help because Blair puts all his worst people on education. Blunkett was annoying, Morris was worse, and this Clarke guy is absolutely awful. Have fun with your course, anyway!

Hi all and Joe -
I listen to a lot of music; I put on JS one day and
my 4-year son immediately stopped and said how
cool it was and asked who it was. Then he wanted
to hear it all the time and asks how to meet JS and
even gets bedtime stories about JS getting his first
guitar as a kid and how he had to practice and study,
then work etc to get where he is now! He studies
the pictures of Joe from the CD and asks about
him and his guitars. He hasn't done this for any
other music!
He wants to know how to meet JS but I told him we
couldn't but that we could write him a letter. Anyone
have an address we could use, or Joe, if you reply
I'll read it out to him! I'd like to try to get an autographed
picture for him if I could...
Thanks all!
