Stu Clone - Yeah, the Astral Traveler solo would be kinda hard to fit into a medley. I think it's best fit would be after the Sexually Active tapping thing, instead of going into Country Music. But you've already done that one, so I don't know.

Fretslayer - Strange Beautiful Music has been my favorite Satch album ever since its release. If you want to dig through my previous posts, I did a fairly in-depth song-by-song review of the album back when it came out. Click on my "n posts total" button...my "review" starts on page 3 of my posts, and I think the last comment is somewhere on page 5. I gave comments about one song every day for two weeks or so. I tried to send my SBM posts as close to midnight as possible, so it would be slightly easier for people to find them.

The songs that I mentioned back then as my favorites may not be my favorites now, but the favorite parts of songs that I listed should still be my favorites now. Confused yet? Haha... Anyway, if you get around to reading everything, let me know what you think.

...Austin...

What's up with that........Does all presale tickets in other areas do the same just wondering...

Well I'll be there anyways on Halloween ..... HEY JOE,

Narface: lol, thank's for sharing that story....The Okinawan people use the Chinese Lunar Calendar for event's such as Obon (paying respects to the dead) and other spiritual related activities....It's interesting, and they use the Western Calendar to be up with the times like everybody else....We were getting ready for the moon viewing last nite, but the typhoon screwed up the sky, lol....This was the day the moon was fullest right??

Stu Clone: Coming up with solo bass medleys sounds like a great idea, lol, I think your going to take that site by storm!!..lol

D/\\/E: T-1day....lol, sound's like good new's?? ;-)

All this talk about Astral Traveler is making me bust out my GHS cd's!!....Thank's for the reminder guy's!!....lol

Do the Stu - I read through those old song critques of yours... I haven't listened to SBM in a month or so, but a lot of my opinions are similar to yours about that cd. Though, I really have to have a deeper listen to the Mountain Song, Hill Groove, The Traveler, and The Journey... I find that I need to pay attention more for those songs. Not that I dont like them, I enjoy them... I just find it a little harder to get into them than the other tracks on that album...

I ordered a couple more Andy Timmons items... his Live Bootleg DVD and the Spoken and the Unspoken cd... should be here in roughly a week or so. I'm looking forward to them! Andy is my second favorite guitar player, after Satch of course; he knows how to put great hooks in his songs. I promise I'll get those Dream Theater albums soon ;)...

Sharon, congrats & good luck with the new puppy.

TomSr, this will be our first time at the Keswick. My husband and I will be 5th row center. Cool to have T2J peeps so close together :) I missed the birthday post. Post it again. That way Jon can catch it if he missed it too.

Bil, I'm not allowed to do anything?? Hmmm, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea. lol!

Hi Anibur!!

Aarren, I cried my eyes out too. Most I cried all day was watching that clip. I had to turn the sound off, then I just had to stop the whole thing. To sad man, just to friggin' sad. It's been a hard day. I can't even begin to imagine those who were "closer" to the tragedy. It sucks hard.

Plum Loco, do you feel like I do? lmao!! Little Frampton humor there...

My afternoon was spent cleaning glass out of my car. My drivers side window was smashed sometime between 10:00 last night & lunchtime today. Looks like some little f*er with a BB gun went shooting at it. Stereo & everything in the car was untouched. I hope they piss in bed for the rest of their lives. It should be about $200. out of pocket. That sucks!

On the other hand, I heard from an old friend. His son returned home from Iraq recently. If that's not a reason to be happy, I don't know what is. WELCOME HOME PAUL!!!

ETHN,
voice mail's working here... call away.
I'll probably call you tomorrow

BOYD,
OIS is sweeping my dorm tomorrow from 3-7, I'll try to get on as soon as I can. My last class ends at 2, so I oughta be able to just stake out my room for when they come.

been practicing a lot of Marcus Miller style licks lately... any marcus fans out there?

He has some of the most musical slap bass solos ever. His note choice is goofy every now and then, but he's got such a tight sound.
