Do the Stu: This will be my second Joe concert. Saw him basically front row last year at HOB Orlando (snuck up front to get closer and ended up just to the side of the stage). I have been a huge fan since I started playing guitar and getting into more instrumental music. I wish this year was Joe, Vai, and Eric Johnson (my favorites net to Joe), but I already have that concert on DVD lol. Looking forward to this concert.
Alan <-- still amped about meeting Sister Hazel again

Hey all! so does this mean that the album is mixed and ready for the next step????
i hope so, i'm so psyched about it! I'd love to hear all the other tracks in their entirety.
Also, I had a thought when Trutina said that T2J was representing... what if we set up an IUMA or mp3.com page with all the T2J songs? It might be a good way to advertise (please buy this album to support our charity, though I'm really not sure if that would work) it certainly would be fun to see how high it would be able to go in the charts.
edit: Michelle, of course you can't beat it with a stick, he was playing a regular bass! ba-doomp -- TSH!!!! ;)

Happy Birthday, hamdo and PhryDom...
trutina - I just listened to your Kentucky Trash Master song that JSC1 mentioned... It's pretty cool...it sounds like it should be the soundtrack to an old NES game...LOL. I'll check out more of your stuff later.

Everyone, it's time to feel sorry for SilverS9. I HAVEN'T BEEN TO A JS CONCERT!!! Really bites. Given, I've been listening to his music (roughly in order from Surfing with the Alein; thus the nickname) for nly about four years, and I'm sixteen, but it still isn't right. I took up guitar- which is named Ice 9, if that's okay- and SOMEHOW got obsessed with the Silver Surfer, yet I haven't been able to catch a concert. I'm hoping to get down to Nashville for the G3 tour, and I'd just like everyone to wish me luck! And obviously, Crystal Planet, Mind Storm, Satch Boogie, Big Bad Moon, and Devil's Slide all rock! There's more on the top list, but you get the idea.
To all who LIVE to the music like me... don't hurt yourselves.

S.O.T.D.~
*Hear me
And if close my mind in fear,
Please pry it open,
See me,
And if my face becomes sincere,
Beware,
Hold me,
And when I start to come undone,
Stitch me together,
Save me,
And when you see me strut
remind me of what left this OUTLAW TORN*
Not the best album, but a damn good song.

Joe, i read that you recorded your Surfing with the Alien album with an Ibanez Radius 540R. i looked it up in a book and it looks quite cool, sense how you adopted the shape of the guitar back in '92 or somewhere around there. Does anyone know where i could find one? thanks

sounds good Ethn,
i'm a little curious as to how this kevin character knows more about where i live than i do.... hmmmmm /me gets shifty eyes like that one dog in the end of the simpsons::
SPEAKING OF THE SIMPSONS!!! (what a segway, eh?) also, heard back from mike, the guy that mixed the recordings when i played in L.A. which means i'll have a premo playing version (i don't know how it recorded, but i played pretty well that night, and my strings were nice and fresh) of my second solo bass medley (which has the simpsons theme in it). parts of it have already been heard before, but in lower quality recording.
Ethn again, I've got some not-minor stuff due this week, so next weekend will probably be mostly free and clear.
edit: checked the IUMA top 40 instrumental... some bass player w/ just 2 songs on his site is number 2! cool stuff... i'll definitely have to check that out.

JS CLONE 1- never liked jap cars... no torque, too expensive, they're everywhere, little style... even though i drive one, i think they suck! for power go american, but no one beats those germans when it comes to building a killer engine!
MICHELLE- yup...i think i popped in around 96'... when the time machine background on T2J was up.

Bob, Radius 540R?
Well, I've seen them quite a lot on Ebay. that's about the only place you'll easily find one. if you do go for it, it's best to get confirmation of the condition, cuz Radius guitars can be in all sorts of conditions these days, and it's hard to tell unless you get your hands on it.
It is a nice guitar and it is what the JS was modelled on, and is now what the Ergodyne is modelled on. So on that note, an EDR470 is much safer, but if you want a Radius then get the seller to provide comprehensive information on condition and any history it has of service/parts replacement/damage.
happy hunting!
