Mr Nick, we're getting hammered right now by hard steady rain. Just watching the news and there's flash flood warnings out the wazoo here in PA. At least we're not getting and strong winds yet. Whoa - thunder & lightening - gotta go!

netmangler - Just because there is a presale for a show, it doesn't mean it's a satriani.com presale. Maybe the promoter or the venue or a local radio station wanted a presale.

If you don't want to sit 25 rows from the stage, that's your choice...but don't get mad at someone because of it.

Stu Clone - It's not cold today. The weather is just finally bearable...here in California at least. I've been here for over two weeks, and today is the first day where it wasn't hot when I woke up...LOL. It's about time.

Regarding trying to contact Joe's management regarding the T2J CD have you tried phoning him? His number (i think its his number anyway) can be found by clicking credits (at the bottom of each page) then Bill Graham Management and there is a number. If you cant find it this way click here

Just got tickets for the Pensacola G3 show. None of the other G3's came close to here so unfortunately I didn't figure this one would either and I missed the presale. Oh well, it'll still be worth it. Row Q's better than not going at all, right? This promises to be one of the best concert experiences of my life. I sure hope I hear "Crystal Planet" and "The Traveler," two of my very favorites.

Anyone else going to the Pensacola show? Let's hear from ya! Rock on!

Austin: Cool, thanks man, I appreciate that.

Artanis I: You page folder you!

Regarding T2J CD publishing issues: It's sounding more and more like we're on our own. If we we're doing covers, Joe would grant us free permission to use his songs, but other than that we're on our own. I pretty well have everything sorted, just dotting t's and crossing i's or something like that, so we should be ready for production very, very soon. Like within days.

Quote of the day: "Ambition is an idol, on whose wings great minds are carried only to extreme; To be sublimely great or to be nothing." Southey

I'm kinda leaning toward the sublimely great part myself.

"I'll keep searching on the quest to find some other equally dedicated musicians to jam with but unfortuantely it would appear that a lot of people want to make music but arent willing to be dedicated so therefore will get nowhere!"

sounds real familiar Olly!

Zachary, good luck with your product. I personally am not familiar with that problem, but I don't break strings - dunno why, I just seem to be gentle on my guitar (not on the trem tho!).

Still, I know a lot of anxty teenagers playing thrash......something.....who will certainly benefit. The sort of people who think that guitar snashing is 'cool'.

well i still dont like the extra songs for them to buy the cds from there... cause then we dont get those other songs, and it costs us double what the original cd would cost to get it imported here so we could have that extra bonus song. its not fair!!

Who here is infuriated as I am right now?!?!? Pepsi is ripping off Coke way too much! Awhile back they came out with Wild Cherry Pepsi... right after Cherry Coke came out. And now, Vanilla Pepsi?? This is terrible! And it doesn't even taste as good! Lets have a vote...

Coke: 1 vs. Pepsi: 0

Crappy internet connection....

Thanks for your notes, cool_ice9, /\/\ike, Bil, greg, michelle and anibur and anyone else i missed! The worst thing as far as i'm concerned is that the boss took no details of my regular customers, and so there are a lot of doggies out there who won't get walked this week and his reason for firing me? because i don't make enough money! Jeez..... better off without I reckon

One of my ex-customers has a plaque by their front door... I thought it was some Welsh thing... it says llamedos.... it was only last week that they explained that it's backwards, and a very good attitude to have! I thought it was great - these people are both retired and so (for want of a better word) "normal" looking, it floored me!!! So cool

Spent the evening with some friends, and the guy reckons if I call any of three transport companies in the morning I should have a job by the afternoon.... apparently there are tons of driving jobs around Heathrow, so who knows.... gotta keep my chins up!!!

chris AFAIK Nashville tuning is the same, except the wound strings are replaced with thinner plain ones, which are then tuned up an octave.

Later everyone... gonna go catch some tv.... Dave
