Just checking in....Cant go to work till 2000....hmmmmm....

Hey MegaBoyd: Hey bro, it's all good man!! No worries, besides, you already gave me a cd anyway....I believe it was GHS 3!!....lol, if you want to send LTE2, I'll get you something you dont have from here, let me know.... Thanks man!!

Zachary: The music scene here is pretty much pop music and R&B type stuff in the mainstream....It's what you see on t.v., but they also love rock....They still love the 80's rock, and there are lots of great git's here like Tak Matsumoto of the B'z, Akira Takasaki (sp??) of Loudness, Schon (who is a Gilbert copy), Hotei (featured on Merry Axemas I) and many others.... As soon as you get a site up, I'll pass the word for ya, I'm sure whammy enthusiast's would be interested....It's kinda interesting to note that it seems like they mostly play "foreign" guitars like Fender (although there is Fender Japan) and Gibson....I see IBY much less than those models....Kinda like the same reason us Westerner's like IBY, lol....

do the stu - yeah, i wasn't quite sure whether you had it in America, I didn't remember seeing it when I came over. Basically Pepsi Max has the sugar taken out (which isn't usually good, but with Pepsi it iscause it's too sweet), and extra caffeine put in. So we have regular pepsi, diet pepsi, and pepsi max.

However I must agree with you on Mountain Dew- they sold it here for a bit but not any more, and when I came over to America I drunk loads of it, it's a superb drink.

Oh and Simpsons and Futurama... I also prefer the less mainstream Futurama, and find that there's always at least something in there that really makes me laugh. The Simpsons episodes, apart from the particularly good ones rarely actually make me laugh, they just make me think "that was quite smart"

favourite futurama quote: "So that's what would have happened if I'd invented the Finlonger!"

But even over Futurama, I'd pick Family Guy, the humour style makes me laugh more than any of the other cartoons.

Artanis I Sinatra: lol dude, hehe, I'm almost ready now....It is 1900 right now......... ;-)....Oh, btw, that Tommy Emmanuel (sp??) site you posted the other day is kuul....Lot's of good stuff in there....lol, I used to alway's picture this young guitar virtuoso because his name is similar to some young teen idol on t.v. hehe....I've never heard his music before, but alway's knew the name....Great player!!

....Now, it is 1909....Off we go, lol....

Hey guitargurl, glad to hear you and Acerbicaxeman will be in attendance. I've seen Eric Johnson at the Saenger and the acoustics are great. There are no bad seats either because it's kinda small. It's gonna be great.

Hey Joe, think I could get you to autograph my JS1000 after the Pensacola show? I just love this guitar. Great work on the design.

I heard Petrucci wrote a bunch of new material for G3, think Yngwie will write a bunch of new instrumentals in keeping with Joe and Steve's main genres and make the whole show mainly instrumental?

Coke - Pepsi...hmmm...gotta go Coke. Lessee, what's the score now? I'm lost.

greg..yeah..cambridge should learn to use the dictionary..:P

artanis...it works for everyday common words that we're used to seeing...complicated and long words as you pointed out..maybe a bit more tricky..

as for Petrucci's solo album..now that DT have announced their release date for their new album..i presume its all done..so JP might be able to complete his solo album before the tour begins in january..so maybe late this year or early next tour in time for the tour he'll release it...and maybe even play a song or two at the DT shows to promote it..that would be cool

Ovation, Isabel is supposed to hit my town Friday morning. God Bless those who are closer to the shoreline. These things are wicked. Today is supposed to be great. Sunny & 80 with low humidity (finally). Funny how Mother Nature works, isn't it?

SupaaDave, at least you didn't have to give up G3 for Peter Frampton. lol! Sorry, I just had to go there. lol!

Nico - Thanks so much for checking my stuff!! i should really get to doing some rmore recording some time but I cant get inspired!! I want to write my own stuff!! - have you got any recorded stuff for me to check out?

Anyone got any tips ony how to start off my inner melodic voice? (thats what i'll call it) - I cant seem to ever come up with melodies of my own which ive been trying for ages! any tips?

Stu Clone - fingerless gloves or anything stopping my strings from rusting after a week would be fantastic!! i have tried every wipe/string cleaner but to no avail! glad I dont play bass guitar or i think i would be bankrupt!!

Zachary - Good luck with your design - id be interested to see how that works, i assume its a permanent fitting to the guitar? Does it prevent you from pulling up the whammy bar though as opposed to pushing it down?

Hope everyone else is cool!

Olly

Yngwie is playing an all instrumental set. He's got way more than enough instrumentals in his catalogue to fill a G3 slot, so I doubt he'll be writing any new ones especially. I just hope he plays a few that either have never been played live before or haven't been played for ages, along with the classics.

Dr Pepper "I guess you had to be there..." story of the day - I went to The Netherlands with a dozen other kids at my school back in 8th grade. We had a nonstop flight from LAX to Amsterdam on a Dutch airline...I think it was KLM. The entire flight crew was Dutch. Anyway, something happened on the flight that I still laugh about to this day... As soon as we got into the air, the flight attendants came around and offered everyone drinks. One of my friends ordered a Dr. Pepper. I will never forget the look on the flight attendant's face as she looked back at my friend and said "Dr. who...?"

Jelly Man - I don't know if I have a favorite Futurama quote. There are so many good ones...it's just too hard to choose.

I've never liked Family Guy. A lot of fellow Simpsons / Futurama fans that I know absolutely love it, but I just can't get into it. Oh well.

sfenwick87 - Yes, Joe will be releasing an album early next year. We don't know anything about it other than it features the same lineup as SBM.
