Hey Joe, I'm from Sonoma and your gonna play at BR Cohn in October. I can't wait for the concert. I was wondering if you would be cool with signing stuff after since it's a really small gig. Also I am a guitar player(3 years) and i was wondering if you could send me the tab for WHY it's not that complicated but i can differentiate the harmonies or whatever you got going on there. Thanks A lot

I love Coca-Cola. Coke 7, Pepsi 1
mick87 - I've always hated Pepsi's television commercials. They all have the same stupid "Coke sucks and Pepsi is cool." message, backing up the claim with nothing other than superficial crap (IMO of course). There's something wrong if that's all they can do to advertise their product. Pepsi makes my favorite soda (Mountain Dew), but I honestly don't like the taste of regular Pepsi. I love Coca-Cola.
On a completely unrelated note, I'd be curious to see the sales figures of Mountain Dew vs. Pepsi. I bet the direct sales to customers (I'm talking about cans and bottles, not fountain sodas at movie theaters or baseball stadiums or anything like that) of Mountain Dew and Pepsi are a lot closer than they should be, considering that Pepsi is the parent company of Mountain Dew.
I'm so completely far away from any topic that should even be remotely considered for discussion on this board, though, so I'll be quiet now. ;-)
Jelly Man - What is Pepsi Max? I don't think we have that here in the US under that name.
UF Dean - John Petrucci's solo album will include songs from the G3 2001 tour. Bits and pieces of it have been recorded over the past few years...I think it was originally supposed to come out in time for Christmas 2001. It's definitely behind schedule.

Malmsteen is an added bonus, hehe....
michelle: lol, may be a good time to batten down dem hatches, hehe, stay safe!!....
mowlie_2000: lol man, there was a number there all the time....That would have helped a couple of months ago....lol....
trutina: What ever happened to the deal where JOE said all the $$ goes to charity (I believe he said Red Cross)?? Do it on your own is o.k., but it looked like in the beginning that this was a JOE supported project....It would have been nice to have them bless it, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and your handling it the best way bro....btw, cant wait to get a piece of that history!! ;-)
/\/ /\ T Y: Thank's for passing the word for PhryDo, were pulling for him!!....
962: Hell yeah, Gilbert makes you want to pick up yer guitar and play!!....lol....
optical studio: lol Steven, I got the power ready and am beaming you and Randell over, lol, kuul jam session!!....I think you guy's could show me some guitar tricks, lol....Have fun with the new song, sounds like it's gonna be searing, and Neal Schon....Great soul and Melody, lol, him and JOE complement each other well....

Mike: Thanks for the review on the abovetn2 link. Your review did not need any stars! Schon dropped in on the last g3 didn't he. Paul Gilbert, and Billy Gibbons, etc. They are all great, and they sounded great together. I have an old track from before our albums that are out now, that was called
(Bad) Legs. because it was built around ZZTops song of that name. I'm a diabetic, so'os it seemed natural to call it that.
OpticalStudio: Hang in there Steven, Mike is stumping for us here on line. More people will tune in soon enough. Now we just have to take lunch with us on that "Beam Over" to japan.............Joe: The foreign market seems primed more for our style. I can see why you lived there. Peace. KTF
Oh, yea! My vote for a phosphate....Diet Dr. Peper!

DXMG: Hey Randell!!....I just checked the post and noticed the "no stars", lol, I knew I forgot something!!....Sorry about that, but the Title "Benediction" says it all....lol, on the "bad legs", my Uncle is diabetic also, and his sense of humor helps him with his problem....
I believe Joe lived in Kyoto(??) for a few year(s) back in '83 or so, and he taught there....Your right, the foreign market, Japan especially, thrive on this type of music....They respect talent and creativity as well as the pop show stuff which
"has" to be played cause the masses relate to it easier....They
see talent.... creativity....Then they learn from it, copy it, and try to make it better....Classic Japanese Technology, lol, and it's got great support over here....Keep rocking dude, and here's another Plug ;-)
Check out "Benediction" guy's....kuul stuff, give em a hand!!

Do the Stu - That's exactly how I feel! Pepsi's approach to advertising, well... sucks. But very true about Mountain Dew... such a great drink.
Ovation - We both know you would prefer a keg of sake over any of those "cha" drinks! lol...
Night all.....

"note" @ the bottom of the "post this message" page....You can link it via the [link url=" "] feature....
Good luck!!

Zachary, yeah get a website up and give everyone something to look at....good luck !!!
Edit: And a very painful edit indeed.......I was'nt wrong, I do have a gig that night....#$@%.....Oh well, at least I'll be playing too !!

Yes! Get a website to sell your product!! You might even think of selling your invention to Floyd Rose themselves... You could very well make more money by selling your invention than trying to sell your product yourself...

Fusion - :36 and on. Then it breaks away from the harmony. I think whenever you are harmonizing, you happen to be playing a very fitting melody and I would like to hear that expanded on. Don't even focus on a solo. Just continue a melody whether it is harmonized or not. I really want to hear melody in a song. Make it go somewhere. Like Matt King says, make it tell a story.
