PIZZA Man thanks for the tips. I think trying to get my pinky more involved and doing different positions and chords is what caused me to injure myself. I just pushed myself too hard. When I get completely healed I plan on being alot smarter about my stretching and warmup exercises before I practice for such long periods of time. Peace

Also New Matrix movie will be out Novembet 10th. Showing commercials for it already.

Stu Clone - Good, we've got jello. Now that just leaves those 2 kegs of sake (Ovation can help us with that one), and those butter knifes and 23 temporary tattoos of Lassie being eaten by a giant cod fish (for initiation purposes). This could work...mrehem, nap time....

Hi Joe I cant wait to see you at the palace of auburn hill,mi oct 23. I will be at section c row 4 seat 13 and my friend another guitar player and super fan of yours. It sure would be one of the most incredible moments of my life being 41 and I still need to get my Joe fix everyday. You even responded to one of my emails when I asked you about what the pedal you used on "BORG SEX" and you said ah yes the ultimate octice pedal.I emediately went out and got one. I teach guitar to several students one being my daughter that is 12, but I tell her she is not yet ready to learn your songs yet. But I cant wait for the day some of her friends say what is that you are playing and she responds that is Joe Satriani !!!!!

Ok Gang... the message board is not a chat service...

If you want a chat service, look up at the top right hand corner and click on where it says your nickname and then Options... scroll down until you see "LIVE CHAT"

a window will pop asking you if you want to enter the chat... click the grey bar where your nickname is and you should be on your way to live chatting...

enough said...

ZACH!!! Hey man... I'll be waiting with bells on and in the nude for my trembolt...LOL

It's all very likely though that it will show up sometime next week say Monday or Tuesday... it's got to pass through inspection at the border and all, so we'll see... Anyways... I really appreciate this and I can't wait to try it out...

Death cube:- I can and do play in all keys, however I am partial to certain ones; be it because of the geography of the neck or because something's feeling really right, or sounding so good that I have to keep playing it. I like to transpose different things to get a contrast, or a certain colorful form. Look at system of a down, almost everything they write is in c-tuning Sometimes you'll write something and it will continue to evolve over a period of years. It's like you are a tree and every branch is a different riff or idea, yet all of it is connected.

Stu Clone - I think some people are just brain dead when it comes to music. I mean, were they recentmy into drag racing before they went to guitar? Yes, brain explosions, yes.

As for speed, man, Joe and Steve have moments where they'll play something just as fast, they just aren't doing it 100% of the time. ARE PEOPLE REALLY THAT STUPID!? REALLY?!

Yeah I know, they are.

Yngwie B Goode - Man, I love the harmonies on both the guitar and vocals and as a whole at 2:01.

Narface/Austin: the Secret Jewel Box is only (supposed to be) available from the Vai site, however some shops have them for sale - so I've heard. I doubt you'll find them though.

Stu Clone/Greg M: just smile and nod...some things aren't supposed to make sense.

Trutina: yeah my neck is throbbing from this constant nodding...but (edit: I) go away from here for a few hours and it's okay...until I come back again...

Pizza Man/Yeroma: there is a chat here, you don't have to use the message board for real-time conversation.

Bring on the Jelly Pool!!! Or is it just a normal pool with water and there's heaps of jelly (jell-o to some of you) everywhere? I want a Jelly Pool. Or a waist high jelly pool with a drum kit in the middle. Yeah, wicked. (Or should I say "wicket"?)

Pizza Man- I don't have much time, so forgive me if were talking and suddenly I don't talk anymore, that is because I've run out of time I'm supposed to be on the computer. Well Iv'e been playing guitar for about 5 or 6 months now. I guesse you could call me a begginer. I love Joe Satriani's music. I really like Steve Vai's music also. And Joe tought him how to play! I have a GSA 60 Ibanez guitar, I like it's pretty good. When I get more advanced I will get a new better one. But the Gsa 60 is pretty good for me right now. I'd like to change the pickups though.

Stu Clone: I'm a repeat offender lol.

pizza man: Thanks, I'll give that a shot sometime. Right now the only thing I do to help it is play one string scales with my pinky only, to improve the strength, which is zero lol. By the way, where is Kenton Ky? I live about 3 minutes outside of Louisville.

mick87: No time for naps, you were on to something there lol.

Ovation: I'll do my best to find it one way or another. I know a guy that can get most anything obscure like that, if you pay the price. If he can't get it, it can't be had. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Plum Loco: If you try to cross the border like that, it's likely to take more than a couple of days lol.

Artanis I: Ok, I've stopped now and the world keeps moving anyway. I blame you for this.

Luke the Duke: I don't know of any effects on Louisiana Swamp Swank. He's got a Fender Resonator in his collection, so I assume it's just that and a slide. And Pro Tools of course. As much as I try, I can't make my resonator sound like that. Damn cool song though.

btw, how can you be in the nude if you have bells on?

When I get on the Chat room, does anyone get what I'm trying to type out? For some reason I don't think anyone is getting it because when I type out something to someone they don't reply. Must be I can't do for some reason.
