I have been really pissed lately. Can anyone believe that that stupid Hilary Duff has the number one album in the country!!!!!!! It drives me crazy to see people like her with no or barley any skill be so famous and liked my so many people!! Joe should have the number one album when it comes out. He is soooo good at what he does and he doesn't get much credit for it. I guess he doesn't care about all that stuff though. That is what makes him even cooler, he loves the music, not the fame. He is a true musician.

Found this funny "Johhny B Good" based mp3.... YNGWIE be good, lol, I think JS Clone 1 will like this one....It's got tributes to some other heroes too, lol.... Yngwie 'B' Good....As the guy Jeff who found it states:
"They were done by Gary Schutt, who plays with Howie Simon in Jeff Scott Soto's band."....lol....
BTW, give it a moment to load, as it takes a little time......It is hilarious in the beginning!!....

February 1982, Guitar Player magazine, the Spotlight section of new and upcoming guitarists (nobody's with talent) features several guitarists and bassists. 2 of each being none other than Paul Gilbert and Yngwie Malmsteen. Ages 15 and 19, respectively.

Jake 49ers- here is my take on the talent thing. In POPular music the majority of the listeners don't even have fully developed mind yet. They are made up of mostly preteen and teenaged kids with a flavor for simple catchy tunes. Not to say all young people are simple minded but, this is what seems to be most willingly digested by the majority of the radio listeners.
Among Musicians and serious music lovers I have heard nothing but praise for Joe Satriani. Even those who don't subscribe to his style respect him. And I'm sure amongst musicians and those with a deep appreciation for music, Joe will go down in history as one of, if not the most gifted instrumentalist of all time.
Joe may not sell as many copys as some but, I'm sure he ain't doin bad by any stretch of the imagination. If you can make a living doing what you love you are loving life and I think Joe is doing just that.
