Narface/Austin: the Secret Jewel Box is only (supposed to be) available from the Vai site, however some shops have them for sale - so I've heard. I doubt you'll find them though.
Stu Clone/Greg M: just smile and nod...some things aren't supposed to make sense.
Trutina: yeah my neck is throbbing from this constant nodding...but (edit: I) go away from here for a few hours and it's okay...until I come back again...

Bring on the Jelly Pool!!! Or is it just a normal pool with water and there's heaps of jelly (jell-o to some of you) everywhere? I want a Jelly Pool. Or a waist high jelly pool with a drum kit in the middle. Yeah, wicked. (Or should I say "wicket"?)

Pizza Man- I don't have much time, so forgive me if were talking and suddenly I don't talk anymore, that is because I've run out of time I'm supposed to be on the computer.
Well Iv'e been playing guitar for about 5 or 6 months now. I guesse you could call me a begginer. I love Joe Satriani's music. I really like Steve Vai's music also. And Joe tought him how to play! I have a GSA 60 Ibanez guitar, I like it's pretty good. When I get more advanced I will get a new better one. But the Gsa 60 is pretty good for me right now. I'd like to change the pickups though.

pizza man: Thanks, I'll give that a shot sometime. Right now the only thing I do to help it is play one string scales with my pinky only, to improve the strength, which is zero lol. By the way, where is Kenton Ky? I live about 3 minutes outside of Louisville.

Ovation: I'll do my best to find it one way or another. I know a guy that can get most anything obscure like that, if you pay the price. If he can't get it, it can't be had. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Artanis I: Ok, I've stopped now and the world keeps moving anyway. I blame you for this.
Luke the Duke: I don't know of any effects on Louisiana Swamp Swank. He's got a Fender Resonator in his collection, so I assume it's just that and a slide. And Pro Tools of course. As much as I try, I can't make my resonator sound like that. Damn cool song though.

Trutina:- You should do left hand workouts in groups of two fingers, two frets at a time. Index-middle. Middle-ring. Ring-pinky. Do you have a metronome? Try 80 bpm.one note for one beat. Then two for one, then three etc. Then go faster.
At first this may seem boring and not melodic, and it is. You should also independently work out your right hand. I live about 90 minutes north or so from louisville.

Luke:- I'm 26, I've played the keys, the drums and have now played guitar for around 14 yrs. I still synthesize everything.
I know many ,many songs and have a profound understanding of music theory; but i'm all feeling. I play about everyday and write alot. Don't be afraid to learn from others; covers are just other peoples originals.

Austin: Ah... there's actually a newer version of the Secret Jewel Box from vai.com. This is an $85 set with the two new archives CD (#3 & #4). So that's 5 CDs (not including the 'secret' one), plus I already have archives #1, that leaves 4 more to go right? Yes, maybe I will get it!! Let's put a hole thru my wallet! lol
