hi austin,
thanks for the link! Funny, i.ve got exactly the same shirt you wear on the foto. If the weather is fine, i will wear it at greek theatre too - as a "recognize-sign". For california people it is hard to believe: in october the weather in germany is already damned cold, wet and windy.

Trutina and whoever else said - for the first few years of my playing i didnt use my pinky then i realised i really should use it and decided to spend some time working on it. At first I couldnt control it at all but after 1-2 months of training it it started to fit in with my other fingers. Its a pain to have to chenge your whole technique but defintaly worth that extra effort!!
962 - Yer I did buy my £1200 guitar from there and some of my pedals but the thing that got me was i thought I had a good deal when they reduced the guitar from 1299 to 1200 for me but then I saw on their website that they were advertising it for 1199 and i felt slightly cheated!! I still got a stand and strap thrown in but still, They did say it was due to the correct setting up of it etc but again I felt they were just making excuses as Ibanez state clearly that all gitars are supplied fully set up!! then I checked the intonation and it wasnt spot on anyhow!!
- anyway I gather you are talking about Jons band? He gave me lessons for a while a year or so ago and i would definately like to see him play!! let me know the details etc!
Aarren - cheers for the updated file - If I get some time I may thinkabout re recording Ceremony but Im desperate to begin writing soemthing of my own!!

webmaster - Would it be possible for you to change the set list choices from 32 songs down to the 10 or 15 songs that Joe will play for the G3 tour? I guess it doesn't make a huge difference, I dunno...
rotwildmen - It's good to hear from you again. What is your favorite Joe Satriani album? What are some of your favorite songs? I usually ask those questions to new people that visit here, and I don't think I've asked you yet. Also, how many times have you seen Joe in concert? What about Steve Vai or Yngwie Malmsteen?
...Austin...

Hi y\all back at ya. So glad some of you remember us.
Been real hard getting on the puter lately since the move. And the puter is being used almost constantly for 'musical creation'.
Besides the fact that it takes EONS to catch up here.
Bill - defintiely we will meet up before the G3 show.

Narface It was either 'What Guitar?' or 'Guitar Buyer' magazine from earlier this year (3 - 6 months ?), maybe. It was only a small article focused on his guitar I think but it did mention the bottle that he used for a slide............ sorry I can't be more help man :-/
Okay, have a good weekend all. If you haven't checked it out already I just ended up at www.guitaristheaven.com, pretty cool, some reviews, lessons and wallpapers on there. later ;-)

Hey (Roman?) moroni...
Oct. 14 Tue, Orpheum Theatre Vancouver, BC CA
Nov. 06 Thu, Massey Hall Toronto, Ontario CA
Nov. 07 Fri, Bell Centre Montreal, PQ CA
Wish I was going to Montréal, alas our due date is Nov. 7 so I'll be having a baby instead of seeing G3 for the 3rd time. Mixed emotions are funny, being happy & sad at the same time sucks nuts.
smooches,

Hi Austin,
with my preference for good recorded live concerts it's logical that i like the San Francisco CD/DVD very much. I am very impressed also by "Strange Beautifull Music" (Mind Storm!) and ... the double "Time Machine". But i like them all. Joe's range is wide enough, to hit all my emotions - at the right time. Joe is unfortunately a lazy eupopean tourer, so i saw him only last jear. Forced by this a have to visit L.A. No realy a bad reason!
Steve ist great too, of cause. Same thing. On his album "Alive in an ultra world" he shows very impressive his feeling for different countries. And i like his german "The black forrest".
With Ingwy i'm actually not very familiar. But i will be prepared.
Greets from Berlin, Mathias
