New to this site. I have always enjoyed listening to Joe's music but have never made it to a show. Fortunately for me, my best friend lives in Phoenix and talked me into visiting him from Chicago and going to the Aerosmith/Kiss concert on October 8th. After searching Ticketmaster's web site, I saw that Joe was doing the G3 tour on the 9th so I bought tickets. I am more excited about seeing these 3 great quitarists than the other show. I am probably going to buy tickets for the Chicago date but was still debating if I should take my 12 year old son.
Rock on Joe and look forward to seeing you in Phoenix even if it's from the 33rd row.

chicagoatc - Welcome to the site. I'm a huge Aerosmith fan, but I decided to skip this tour. I'm not too crazy about paying nearly double the money for a short Aerosmith set. I've seen Kiss before, and I don't really have the desire to see them again.
I'm glad I decided to skip the Aero show because here in Los Angeles, the Aerosmith/Kiss thing and the G3 gig are both on the same night. I'll have a lot more fun (and be a lot closer to the action) at G3.
ovation1 - Of course we got a Stu-Peat right off the bat...we rock...haven't you figured that out yet? ;-)
Oh, also...that's the first seven-string guitar I've seen that only has six strings...LOL. Did you give us the wrong link?

Hey Joe,
I am going to go to your show in Atlanta at the Tabernacle and also the show in Pensacola Florida. I am glad that you took my advice and decided to play the Sanger theatre again. I saw you play there for the extremist tour when I was 14 and you blew me away! Thats when I decided to get serious with my guitar and learning about music. I will never forget that show because you inspired me to start practicing. So I just wanted to tell you thanks for the inspiration and sharing your music with all of us! Also, I wanted to see if you could play The forgotten part 1 and 2, and also The Bells of Lal parts 1 and 2 at those two gigs. I love the arppegio the you do in the forgotten part 2 in the first part of the song (it gives me chill bumps) and also The Bells of Lal part 2. I love that song because you just go off soloing. That song just gets my blood pressure up. Anyway, thanks again for the inspiration and music! See you in ATL and Pcola Satch!

do the stu Now that swopping names thing would be really funny. To all keep our accounts and passwords, we would have to all un register our usernames first, change them to something completely different, and then all re register our othe t2j names. During the time this was going on, I could run round setting up 20 different accounts and register all the names you guys had just un registered, and then I'd have all your names!
