from what I understand, the EVH D Tuna is adjustable... Just like any hipshot detuner, it has a screw to adjust the stopping point of the lever action.

cube Sinner! Honestly, their politics may be slightly undergraduate, but hey, I'll be an undergraduate in less than two weeks, and apart from that, they're really excellent!
boyd Glad you had fun, I wanted to see radiohead in England but it would have been really expensive. What was their setlist? Did they play the national anthem? Anything off the Bends?

r6r welcome back brudda! I won't send you to my IUMA to check out a track that isn't even half a track as soon as you get back though... just chill back in the T2J goodness and (if you choose) forget all advertisements and relish in the free-for-all spirit that is T2J.... along with its blatant "my fans don't matter any more - I AM JOE SATRIANI - GUITAR GOD AND SONY SAY I DON'T NEED TO INTERFACE WITH MY PEOPLE COS I SELL ENOUGH ANYWAY" vibe..... enjoy.......

Seriously, though, good to hear/read that the start of your move has ended, or that the end of your move has started.... chill... you ain't missed nuttin
trutina he doesn't bother at all :-P
Is it possible that Jimi's brother has the same gift as Jimi, even if they're not (weren't) "real" brothers.....? Original Hendrix... JOE surely you can make your fingers move on a keyboard for this? It just doesn't seem right.... are you on the side of the "I married into it, and I got the cash, end of story" or are you coming from the angle of "man this guy ain't so bad (for a crack ho oldie) but his familyline and his desires for the rest of us FANS is bona fide"...? Oh I forgot for a second... you don't post here any more... maybe the other people will engage in conversation......
Disillusioned, off to make some good food, then to bed... laters Dave

GREAT TIPS ON HAND AND OVERALL BODY CARE SO YOU CAN HAVE BALANCE
Aarren Mowlie thanks for you're tips on what I should do about the problem with my hand.
I did alot of reading on the internet and found out that a chiropractor would be my best bet. I went and found out I do have CTS. But the Dr told me not to worry or get depressed, that there was no big problem and I would be playing again sooner than later. Of course I was overjoyed to know that my life is not over. He found a spot in my spine that was out of balance causing that central nerve in my wrist to be pressed too much. He also showed me a couple of exercises to help regain strength and movement in my hand and fingers. Even when my hand fully recovers I plan on going to chiropractor at least once a month for an adjustment. These guys get you're body working in complete harmony and balance. Since us guitarist are constantly playing an un-ergonomical instrument and bending over and causing other forms of stress and strain on our backs and necks, We need to go to a chiropractor often so he can put our body back in balance. By the way this same chiropractor helped me to be able to walk again normally about 7-8 years ago. Another medical doctor told me I needed complex back surgery that would cost 20,000 bucks!! Since I played basketball I did not want surgery, I went to a chiropractor and about 2-3 months of treatment and $19,600 cheaper I was normal again and have not had those problems since. These guys are real and can often help you with many things without having to cut open your body and do surgery. I paid $30 bucks for my visit Monday( which helped instantly) and included complex B vitamins which help healing process and to flush out impurities in body. Now 2 days later I feel much better and can move my hand around much more. When all this first happened I thought I was doomed. Now 2 days after visiting the chiropractor I feel like I 'll be playing again very soon. BIT OF ADVICE FOR EVERYBODY EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT HURT. GO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR AND OPTIMIZE THE WAY YOUR BODY WORKS.

Phrydom Ouch! You don't seem to be in a very Joe friendly mood tonight! One thing I can say, I don't like going on message boards where people flame me!
I take it you saw the Hendrix programme last night, then. So on the discs, where it says "experience hendrix, official hendrix family release" it is actually being run by someone who doesn't have any of jimi's blood in her.
To quote his niece or whoever the hip hop person was, "If my music gets famous after I die, I hope someone else doesn't come and marry into the family and then take all the money".

FuSiOn5000: Glad to see another person who appreciates alot of the same guitarists. What happened to Vitto Bratta's arm??!!
I love that song "Miles Away" The lead work that did it for me is the stuff in "Headed for a Heartbreak" damn, the tapping run he does near the end of the song just dropped my jaw the first time I saw the video. I like all three of the Winger cd's. Yes you read that right everybody. Ha ha..

Ovation - I don't understand Jeff's statement. I don't know any of the names so I don't know why it was funny.
HAHAHA Yngwie B Goode rocks. Who plays guitar as Yngwie? The lyrics are great. "He never ever learned to speak the language so clearly but he could a play guitar just like Panganini.
The Steve Vai part rocks. Sure he's as fast.
What is the riff that comes in after the 3:00 mark? 3:06? Steve with Coverdale?
