Zachary,

I like the look of that site... the main questions I had when reading through was "How does it mount?" and also, though really more of a sub-question, "Can I mount it myself/do I take parts out or does it just pop in?"
It almost looked like it was just glued in in the pic, since it's kinda pixelated.

As far as jamming, I'm up for it next weekend as long as I don't have too much I have to do... I think Ethan is too. I'm lettin you know one last time, I am in TACOMA WASHINGTON... if you're up for the drive, let's see what we can work out. Shoot me an e and I'll letchya know what's going on.

edit number 1: Zach, I also would've wanted to see how it works... is it switchable or more of an "always on" kinda thing?

edit number 2: no way in hell am I gonna be "Matt Clone" !
harumph! crazy gibberish!

Zachary: Yes! I like your site! I finally get to see how the Trembolt looks like! I assume you've go more to add to the site, right? Well, so far so good! One look at the pics you got and I figured out how the Trembolt works. But you are going to have a page that gives the instructions right? Also, one of the close up pics seems way too blurry! haha. What other ideas do you have for you're site? Online ordering? How about sending Trembolts to Satch or Vai and list them as artists who use the trembolt? That'd be cool!

PAULEMOZ:- o.k.- I have met and stood next to yngwie and know for a fact that he is not 6'3". In fact I was surprised at how short he was. Now maybe i'm dillousional, but have you ever seen a picture of ronnie james dio, and then seen him in person? Huge difference. Now I know that he is not all bad and maybe he's a nice guy; but when I saw him that was absolutley not the case. He was thowing his ciggarette butts into the audience like they were picks{not cool.}and the band that opened for him-mara- said he was very arrogant and unpleasent. The show ended early because he got into a fight with his drummer.I was there and was dissappointed. He is very phenomenol as a guitar player, but as a person on that particular day he wasn't doing to good. At the end of the day he's human just like the rest of us. I don't hate him; I know he has worked hard ,and I have to respect that. I've defended him in past messages.

Strutrina:- Several years ago I wrote an 11 page all you need to know theory in very simple terms. It's just like algebra. How's your math? Learning the geography of the neck is not difficult. There are only twelve notes that repeat over and over. Learning to SEE these patterns will greatly improve your view. The other half of the battle is in your dexterity; then also being able to Feel your way through. It's a good feeling to know you can most likely play whatever you want because you can see, hear, and feel where your going. I'm not gonna try to change your style, But I do believe you will be a much happier guitar player if you have A good grasp on the geography of the neck and can see the way that these reoccuring patterns can be utilized.

Zachary:- I'm gonna check out your site in a few. Now i'm assuming your talking about something new. Does this make intonating a locking tremolo any easier?

Zachary:- Very cool very smart. I love it. Now I got a couple questions. If you're tuned to standard and break a string, does the pitch drop but stay in tune, or does it stay in 440? does the string you break make a difference? After installing, does the trembolt still allow you to pull back on the tremolo? If you break a string will it go sharp and stay in tune? Will it increase string tension more or less if a string is broke? is there any drilling or extraordinary work required? Does the trembolt move with the bridge?

Zach: Since the Trembolt is attached to the guitar body, won't there be a problem if I raise or lower the action by raising or lowering the bridge?

With the Trembolt installed you simply slide the bolt forward when you break a string and all remaining strings are retuned perfectly exactly like they were before the string broke.
ahah... so it is an "on/off" kind of action... I'm really likin this idea!

pizza man,
an 11 page theory-essentials document? sounds interesting... still got it layin around?

Spiral of the Universe,
I might be interested in helping... anywhere I can hear what you have so far?

edit: this trembolt thing gets cooler and cooler each time I hear about it!
I'm thinkin someone that gets passes to the shows should DEFINITELY try and help Zach out and tell Joe to check out one of his fans' inventions...

Zachary:- Okay that makes sense. That is very creative and I may purchase one sometime. Will you send instructions on installing and maintenance? Is it made of iron or galvenized steel or..?

I have another unrelated question- I have very oily skin and I am hell on strings. They last me 2-3 weeks tops even if I clean them. They seem to oxidize and buildup with "crud." Is it true that you can boil them back? And if you could, would they sound new? Is there something else I can do to prolong the life of my strings and still have them sound decent? I've even bought elixers and it doesen't seem to matter.
