boiling strings loosens up the dirt/sweat/buildup in the wraps and helps them sound fresh. it's for after you've used your string for a couple weeks.

use brackets " [ " and " ] " to enclose commands.
use " [/ " and " ] " to enclose "end commands" (like, stop typing bold text, stop making it a link, etc.)
the command you want is "link" you can also add url="http://www.yoursitegoeshere.com/" WITHIN the bracket... by doing that, you can have a link like this instead of one like this: http://www.stuarthamm.net/forum
be sure to check the text under the white box when you're posting for info on the available commands.

Martin Scorsese's Blues series started tonight 9:00pm est on PBS. this special will air all week with a different film being featured each night.
Tonights film was awesome!
Corey Harris and Keb' Mo do a killer version of Robert
Johnson's "Sweet home Chicago" and Taj Mahal does Muddy Waters "Catfish Blues"

Stu Clone - I use roundwound 45-105 GHS Boomers, which are only wrapped on the neck end. GHS does make strings which are wrapped on both ends, but I've never used them.
GUTTERsTU - It's never too late... I think stuTTERbOY would have made a funnier name, though. ;-)
This Stu stuff has been fun...LOL. Thanks for the laughs, everyone. I haven't had this much fun since the MIND STORM!!! or Trogdor!!! things.

Greg: I can't remember my first nickname here. I've had too many! I believe Austin's first one was Nitsua111?
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I hated Robert Palmer and that stupid piece of crap song "Addicted to Love" which was almost as (if not more) repetitive than all of Meatloaf's songs...and that film clip was more boring than an afternoon at an old ladies house with no toys when you're 5 years old.
Stu Clone: Stutrina
Very ince indeed...we're certainly on the road to the land of "Stu" three-peats.
Yes, very ince. I think I'll get in on this one. Notice mine contains Stuart...unlike anyone else.
YES!!! Didn't get a blister on my middle finger from bass-playing last night. First time in ages. No, instead it just tore open and bled everywhere.
