Hi Satch fans,
must get back into the habit of checking T2J daily, too many messages to read, makes my eyes knack together.
Anyway, how's everyone doing, is the world of Satch land still a happy one?
Went to see Santana on Saturday, he was pretty good, played on stage for three hours.
I was coaxed into going along recently to see Craig David the other night too, not my type of music but the support band, oh my God were they good, fronted by a girl called Michelle Lawson, she could really belt it out. Good musicians, good vocals and very good songs. Well worth a listen folks, her album, I Just Wanna Say is out on Amazon now so have a gander at her and she is from the UK too, there is hope in the land of UK music afterall.
Bye for now
LOL
Shaz, still eating chocolate and loving Joe's music.

stuArtanis I - Yeah, my first username was Nitsua111.
Astuin looks kinda weird for a name. Maybe I could get away with AuSTU...?
StuDom - I don't know why I just thought of this, but...don't I owe you some refrigerator magnets in exchange for the CDs that you sent me earlier this year? Doesn't someone (mom? sister?) related to you collect them? You've moved around recently, so if you email me your current address I can send them out to you.
Jelly Stew - Interesting story...LOL.

BORIStheSPIDER: I highly recommend picking up "Facing the Animal" from Yngwie. Great album, lower on the cheese scale than his previous work.
Pizza Man: Hey dude, i usually don't get to a computer over the weekend, so friday at 3:15 is the cut-off until monday morning around now rolls around. If you asked me something and I didn't answer, post the question again.

Did the American Government murder Jimi Hendrix? I found this while searching for info on Jimi Hoffa. President Bush believed the government killed Hoffa and Hendrix. Check it out for yourself and tell me your opinions why the government would kill Hendrix. P.S - a little reading is required.

anibur Do you know you don't have to get a new account to get a new username. Where it says, "anibur options" go to Preferences and change your username to whatever you want. If you want to change it to one of the names you've just posted under, though, you'll have to de register or change those first.

This is my first time posting....I was looking at my Setlist, and I noticed that not all of the songs I chose might be appropriate for a G3 concert. Can Joe play Lovething in a G3 setting? It seems that G3 performances are typically furious, technical stuff, but I think it would be cool to hear one of Joe's ballads admist the shred-fest. Speaking of Lovething, it was my favorite performance on the Live in San Franscisco DVD. I loved Stu's rendition of Joe's masterpiece! I've never seen anyone play a bass guitar like that. Ok, I suspect I have said quite enough. Love, peace and chicken grease!

Hey Joe,
I really enjoyed the G3 article in Guitar World. It was GREAT to see you and Vai and Malmsteen together! Im so excited about the upcoming G3 concert....Cant wait till you come to Pensacola!!! And like Mr. Malmsteen said in the interview its gonna "BLOW PEOPLE'S MINDS !"
I also have a question if you dont mind,
At the photo shoot for the G3 story both Vai and Malmsteen had "their" guitars. The ones that we ALWAYS see them with. But you had a solid white Ibanez, not your trademark chrome guitar. And this is not the first time I have seen you with this guitar, in the poster of the July 92 issue of Guitar World , you had the same white guitar. Well my question is do just use the white guitar for photo shoots? And if so why dont you use the your chrome Ibanez?
ok thanks for your time....
and for ALL the great music.
Your Loyal Fan,
Micah

Hey dme0102 I believe in "I believe." I like that song a lot. I love the free flight guitar work in the middle. I think that song is a very heartfelt one....¿Habla español?
I am abviously the most experienced guitarist. I've been playing for 2003 years. lol!

Why do all great inventions always end up 'out of production'?? What are those guys thinking? I'm talking about the Ibanez Backstop (the tremsetter that's better than the Hipshot one) and the Key Intonation Tool (for adjusting intonation on floyd-type trems).
