this new G3 DVD/CD/Video thing is real exciting. Assuming it follows the same format, of 4 sets of 3 songs, as the first one did, here's what I think would make an excellent track selection:
Set 1, Joe
(1) "Time" or "Champagne?"
(2) "The Forgotten (Part 2)"
(3) "Hill Groove"
Set 2, Steve
(4) "The Crying Machine"
(5) "Whispering a Prayer" or "Hand On Heart"
(6) "Juice" or "The Animal"
Set 3, Yngwie J
(7) Unleash the focking fury!
(8) Under the wrath of the focking fury
(9) Unleash the focking fury! (Reprise)
hehehe, okay, I don't know any of YJ's stuff, so you guys can fill the gaps!
Set 4, the Jam
(10) maybe something like "Texas Flood"
(11) "Sexual harrassment In The Workplace" (Frank Zappa)
(12) really don't know about this one! maybe somethin by Jimmi again?
So, wot happens if the Viking and the Virtuoso lock horns? is there a backup plan? Maybe Joe will call again on Kenny-Wayne! hehehe........if all else fails, call kenny-Wayne Shepherd!
Any plans for special features? an interview with the three dudes would be ace, like the rockline one, only one we can all hear (and see).

Michelle,
it was funny, I saw the concert & then we went to eat, cause the line was so long at the meet & greet. we had to get some grub, but by the time we got back the line was very short. & I didn't even remember to bring a camera, or I would have had some sweet shots Of the concert. right before it was my time to get a siggy, I saw a lady with a camera & asked her to take the pic, & she came through, she sent me the picture & even the negative I was lucky, & it was a great show. Carlton kicks butt, makes me wanna see luke badd... lol
btw I saw larry at his first "MALL" gig ever, it was fun.

anibur - Did you click on it? It's not that bad...I promise. And if it is, well, MegaBoyd sent it to me. Blame it on him...?
Oh, and it's "definitely". I spell that word wrong all the time as well. PhryDom corrected me once, and I said something like "Thanks...I definately[sic] won't make that mistake again." without realizing that I screwed it up...LOL.

well if the dvd does follow the format of the other one id like:
Joe:1.Ceremony
2.Back to Shalla Ball
3.Devils Slide
Steve:1. Anwers
2.The Attitude Song
3. (song from encino man)
YJ:1. Baroque and Roll
2. (Number 4 of the live album)
3. Rising Force
And for the jam songs i think they should do
1.All along the Watchtower.
2. Vodoo Chile
3.and for the thiird i think they should write a new song involving all 3 of em.
Also another question. who is on first and last. and who's band will be doin the jam

DoThe Stu. No I didn't click on it..........sorry! Woz toooo afraid of what I might see.........
what was it by the way? Or will that spoil the surprise for everyone?
Thanks for spelling lesson too.
As for the G3 order of *stars*
people seem to automatically put Joe first ( of course ) then Steve, then Yngwie. So i wonder if Joe will pick up on this?

Hello there Joe,
I'm an fan and have just logged in for the first time on your neat new website. I was just wondering if you plan to produce a DVD of this latest G3 tour? I have the G3 San Francisco DVD and have really enjoyed it. I'm hoping you all will document your current tour in similar fashion.
Peace

Hey Joe, and fellow Satriani.com members,
This is my first post here, and I don't really have much to say except that I'm glad I'm a member of the JS community.
Joe- Toronto show, you know what you have to do....

crispin - The order is: YM first, SV second, JS last. YM and SV will join Joe and his band for the jam.
anibur - I can't tell you what it is...it'll spoil the joke. It doesn't get any worse than what you see in that first picture though. If you want to click it again, click on my post total and go to page 52.
Stu Clone - We just keep passing the blame further and further up the line, don't we? LOL...
NebulAlex - Welcome to the site! Tell us about yourself. Have you seen Joe live before? What are your favorite JS songs? What other bands do you like?

michelle, like I said the first and second films were my favorites. They covered the delta blues and even go back to Africa to search for the roots of the blues which was a very special journey to say the least. Corey Harris and Keb' Mo' preform Robert Johnson's "Sweet home Chicago" and Taj Mahal does Muddy Waters "Catfish blues"
To anyone intrested in a JS-100. I have a JS-100 up for auction on ebay.The item# is 2562982127
