Bah... I have to write a 2-3 page paper tonight, and I don't wanna do it. ::sigh:: I guess that's college, though.

webmaster - Thank you very much for the info... Newly remastered Satch sounds good to me.

bluebuffalo9 - Ah, okay... That song is unreleased. Sorry. ;-)

Also, are you sure that Joe played Secret Prayer on the EOC tour? What date did you see him on that tour?

mischievous - Listen to Why again...it rocks! ;-) LOL. I absolutely love the solo...
Ga6o - Yngwie changes his set every night. Steve has made some minor changes throughout the tour, as has Joe. I mention a few songs from each of them in my review of the 10/18 show that I went to. Look through my post history and find it...I think I posted it on Sunday 10/19.

The G3 jam songs are Rockin' In The Free World, Little Wing, Voodoo Child, and, if time allows, La Grange.

guitargurl - I have a track from the Hellecasters on a CD that Guitar World put out back in the mid or late 1990s. Cool stuff.
Narface - EVH hasn't been up to a whole lot recently. I heard that he recorded a version of Joy To The World for Steve Lukather's upcoming Christmas album (similar to the Merry Axemas discs that Steve Vai did a few years ago), although I don't know anything about the release.

Webmaster: Thanks for the updates! Hey! If you have time, how about putting together a gallery of Joe's guitars and amps and effects? I remember there was a guitar gallery on the old site. Thanks!

LOL!!! I'm listening to LISF right now and it just came to me that it's been quite a while since anyone's asked why they are booing Stu. Then look what happens!
Kirsmael: They are yelling out "STUUUUU!!!!" not "BOOOO!!!" A lot of people ask this question! Welcome to the site!

I found the following on alt.fan.satriani a few days ago:

Steve Vai and Joe Satriani will be signing autographs at the Guitar Center in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, November 1 from 3-5PM.  Call (407) 975-9119 for information.

bluebuffalo9 - I think you might be confusing Secret Prayer with A Train Of Angels. The early EOC dates included Down, Down, Down, Clouds Race Across The Sky, and A Train Of Angels. These three songs were eventually dropped and replaced by House Full Of Bullets for the LISF DVD. I think some other changes were made in the meantime, but I don't think Secret Prayer was played.

Does anyone else have info about this?

Achoo: Wow, you saw Joe? Cool. I didn't see anyone. I was further back on that little platform towards the left. My friend was really tired after the show, so we left when it ended to avoid the congestion. They train station was packed, so they let people through without paying! lol

Do The Stu- I hear you on writing the papers! Alright I have a deal for you. You write my paper about the similarities between premodernism, modernism, and postmodernism schools of thought and Kohlbergs theory of moral development. Or one on dissociative identity disorder. And I will write your paper. Deal? :)

PLEASE KEEP G3 2003 DVD a WHOLE experience ! We already have a G3 dvd with only 3 songs each...GIVE US MORE! The concert in Denver was awesome, there is NO WaY to edit the show to only 3 performances each. The last G3 dvd left me wanting more, then the LIVE at San Francisco DVD was AWESOME. i hope Joe and the gang realize the potential! Please keep posting your opinions on KEEPING THE ENTIRE SHOW ON DVD!!!

Clarky: You done traveling bro!?!?....I dont know if you take your guitar with you when your on the road, but I saw this neat fold-up Yamaha in a shop that works great!!....Keeps them fingers going, lol....

bluebuffalo9: lol, now I'd like to hear that song myself!!....Mr. VAI is alway's full of surprises!!....

PhryDom: lol D/\\/E!!....I had to email him twice cause I sent the wrong link for the back cover, lol, the front was the same....I also mentioned that you and Bill would probably be emailing him too....No answer yet, but this must be the 5th time that the final ok plea has been sent, lol!!

962: Here's to adding more grip to the Ovation grip, lol, I've been used to it for awhile, and btw, the real meaning of the F holes of course comes from the cutaways on the hollowbodies, lol, I had my mind in the gutter at the time and wanted to see if someone would take the bait....hehe ;-)

....Some more info about what LUKE had to say of playing with Eddie recently....

962: I don't know man....you ought to try the S series, i own 2 of them, and they are the most amazing looking/playing/sounding guitars on the market. Now that the new S's have a serious trem on them they are complete....give 'em a try.

UFDean: I've never been up to UF, even though I keep telling the gang I will, but things are too busy for that. My friends and I are all in out last year of undergraduate studies. A bunch of them are going into either med school, law school, or engeneering. I on the other hand am pursuing music like a dumb ass haha! If you want to check out some of my music I'll give you the website.

DCK: yes, the tube literature did help, but now I'm thinking of sticking with 12ax7's, but replacing them with good Groove tube ones. I am thinking of trying something.....THD makes a plug called the "Yellow Jacket" that converts a 6L6 socket so an EL84 can fit in the plug without frying the amp. It effectively makes the amp class A. COuld be cool. Hey I was wondering, what power tubes, other than 5881 and other brands of 6L6's can be put in a 6L6 plug? thanks man

gleed: I hear ya, although no need for vocals in this situation, lol!!....All we need is guitar....Sing it now....John Lennon style ;-)....

.........Taken from GW Dec.

" Eddie and I have been friends for years" Lukather explains, "and there was just NO WAY I was doing this record without him. We trade off solos, and brother, let me tell you, he just leaves me in the dust. He's playing the best he's ever played. Anytime I start to get cocky and think I'm good, Eddie comes in and flat out schools me."........

Way to go Eddie....I think he feels the need to come back more and more!!....

Everyone!! Here are some photos from the Chicago show!! They're a bit blurry, but good enough to satisfy anyone! (they're blurry cuz I was a bit far from the stage, but I did stand on top of all the people in front of me, so I had a clear view) ENJOY!!
