Thought I'd post this here :D Some guy got jacked by a car dealership, he won a bid on ebay and the dealership sold the car [trying to avoid the cheap sale evidently] Now this on every forum known to man [slight exaggeration] and people are calling the dealership, emailing them, calling the head mitsubishi dealership etc. Quite funny, I hope the dealership gets jacked.

Geniuser, dude that really sucks. I was a little disappointed by the sound at the Vai gig I saw, but I can't imagine how that must feel when you go to see all three of 'em, and it sounds even worse! You should try and find other people that went and were sitting around where you were, and see if they all found the same problem - if there's enough complaints about the same thing, something will get done about it.

Mick87, yeah Andy rocks hard! he's so good. how is that glockenspiel going anyway? you should see if you can reduce 'Electric Gypsy' to the Glock. actually, on second thoughts, don't. hehe, sounds like fun man!

Yeah LTE2 is really cool.....you gotta get it! 'Urinal Cakes'.......I've never liked that term. why call them 'cakes'? cakes are nice things we eat, not things that soak up piss and make things smell marginally more pleasant. Anyhow, yeah, you don't wanna go dropping a pick in there! (no I'm not speaking from experience! hehehehe)

Mischievous, The Forgotten (Part 2) and Hill Groove For G3!........what don't you get? do you not like those two GODLIKE Satriani tunes? Each to his own, but I just really want to see these two get played live - as far as we can all remember, The Forgotten (Part 2) hasn't been played live, or at least not since the FIABD tour. that's a long time!
Austin, I'm sorry for buying LTE2 before number 1! I'll try and make things right! hehe. it was cuz #2 had a shorter waiting time on delivery (I got it off amazon), whereas #1 would have taken a couple of weeks.
SupaaDave, Joe, I have a Digitech Wh-4 and a Wh-1, can you please tell me what the difference is............JUST KIDDING....bah ha ha ha !!!...........even although I knew it was you, you had me going! I nearly posted an obscenity but then realised Karloff had gone! hehehehe, nice one dude!

I really don't get what that was all about anyway. I mean, i've been working lots on Hill Groove, and my tone for that is pretty damn close to Joe's, yet I have none of Joe's equipment!

Joe, it's good to hear you guys are having a blast on the G3 tour which is why everyone that can't make it to a town on the tour is begging for you to add them to the list. I have to admit, it would be great if you did extend the tour outside the US. Hope the 3 of you can persuade one another to make some space in your schedules to bring the tour to the UK where I know you will get a huge welcome as always. Have you created any new tunes for a possible future CD yet Joe? I'm sure you are always coming up with new stuff all the time but I'm dying to find out which direction the music is taking you this time. Whatever path your on I'm positive the music will be awesome. Keep it coming. Enjoy the rest of the tour.

Geniuser, sorry you had such a bad time at the show. The only time I've ever had a bad experience with the sound was at a Megadeth show in Hershey, PA. They played in a hockey arena, and the sound literally hit us about 30 seconds later that what the band was playing. The acoustics in that place are the worst! Nothing like seeing the band go through the motions and hearing the music delayed like that. It was almost like watching a Godzilla movie.

michelle - I saw Cheap Trick and Aerosmith at the Compaq Center in San Jose (the place where the Sharks play hockey) back in 2002. The sound quality there was AMAZING. It sounded just as good as some of the Joe shows that I've seen in much smaller venues. Where were your seats for the Godsmack gig? Maybe your location had something to do with the bad sound.

The Prez - I remember you...welcome back.

Ah, I thank you all for your support / pity. :p

In keeping with 962's idea, did anyone else here attend the West Palm Beach show, especially if you weren't on the ground level, and have similar complaints?

or, did anyone here attend it with very good seats, and find that the sound quality was fine?

Austin, the Hershey Arena is where the Hershey Bears play hockey. The seats are small, and MY knees hit the seat in front of me sitting down, and I'm only 5'4". My husband had to have his knees on either side of the seat in front of him. lol! That place bites the big one. As for seeing Godsmack, the show isn't till Nov. 29th, and it's at a different place.. We've seen Def Leppard at this same place, and the sound was good, so I'm not to worried about the Godsmack show. Check your mail. I have a question for you.

Just watched the G3 video message. Very cool, the live clips took me right back to being at the show. The DVD is going to be sick!! Steve Vai is coming out with a live DVD soon as well.

The NFL announced today that for financial reasons, they had to eliminate one team from the league. So they've decided to combine the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and form one team, therefore saving jobs. They will be known as the TAMPACKS.

Unfortunately, they're only good for one period and have no second string.

Ahhh, c'mon, you know it was funny!
