MICK87: How did you make the instrument you say you're playing in your info say "Glockenspiel"? All I get is a drop-down list which obviously doesn't include your instrument :)

Jake49ers, sweet pic! And I thought I got some sweet pix!
Just curious, anyone happen to have either a V, SG, or Strat shaped body for sale cheap? I'm looking to put together a little project guitar that would look ridiculously cool, but it's gonna end up costing me some serious cash. Just lemme know. Thanks!

I have the JS-100, the 2002 black model, it's pretty sweet. the floyd rose is hard to work at first but you get used to it. How does everyone like the pickup's, there all right, but there not seymour duncan's or dizmarrio, should I change them?

ovation1:gleed: I hear ya, although no need for vocals in this situation, lol!!....All we need is guitar....Sing it
now....John Lennon style ;-)....
ovation1 i suppose your right about that. But still i would do anything to have Izumi Sakai work with Joe&Tak. If you have listened to Ihoujin(redone by Tak),then you would know what i mean.

Yeeeeeah!
Fantastic news... Joe Satriani himself is lined up to contribute to Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater keyboardist)'s new solo album! Along with guys like Steve Morse, that is.
Satch and Jordan are my two very favourite musicians... this is gonna rock!

962 and Austin you can check out this or this for more Jaco stuff. The bit about his eye being out of its socket really got to me personally :-&
UF Dean have you tried Warmoth or StewMac? You're in the US, right? Good stuff at very reasonable prices ;-)
Laters, more x-files to watch lol... Dave

TomSr - I hate to give away the secret, but I think mick87 is including that information in the "location" section of his profile.
Jake 49ers - You messed up your second link...hehe. Don't worry, though, everyone has trouble making links like that. I've explained it about a dozen times here, and it's still confusing people. ;-)
Jelly Stew - Wow! Thanks for the info. Awesome guitarists, Jordan on keys, and The Dregs' rhythm section! I can't wait to hear the finished product.
PhryDom - Thanks for those links. I have that reissue of Jaco's solo album (the source of the info in the first link)...it's a great record. Everyone should buy it, along with Weather Report's Heavy Weather.
Have fun watching the X-Files. Is X dead yet, or are you not going through the episodes that quickly? ;-)
...Austin...

hey guys sorry i wasn't able to write I got home sunday ngith from florida and I was exhausted yesterday and still am a little today. well the show was fantastic. I was really blown away. Yngwie was really good. He did a lot of solo stuff by himself but at the end he let each memeber of the band take a solo which was kool. Up next was vai. @_@ is he human? This was my first time seeing Vai and I don't know how to describe the experience. It was absolutly breath taking. Last but not least good old satch. I'm really liked the peavey's. I thought he sounded really good. The songs were very nicely done. Couldn't have asked for better. Kool light show too ;) The jam was phenomenol. I was about to pass out lol. It was great to see 3 masters of guitar ripping it up on stage like that. After the show I got the oppertunity to go back stage. I've enver met joe vai or malmsteem before. My gf had to hold me down lol. I met malmsteem first which was pretty kool. He seemed like a nice guy. He didn't unleash any fury on me lol. Next up was mr. Vai . What a great guy I was really star struck and he seemed to have noticed lol. Last up was satch. He was reeeaaaalllllllyyyyy kool. He was so nice. I talked to him for a while and I gave him a copy of my demo. I hope he'll listen to it and write me and e-mail or giveem a call about it lol. After I met them all I thought it couldn't get better buit then I talked to Jeff lol. He's such a ncie guy. We talked for like 10 min about how wondeful Italy is and the Squares lol. He was really a nice guy. hey jeff if you read this YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
Well that's all for now guys. I hope my review wasn't too boring for anyone. Thanx~

Man, that is shitty what happened to Jaco Pastorius....If I had been dictator, that bouncer would have been deported immediately after he got out of jail. A bassist I played with years back spoke very highly of Jaco.....I've never heard any of his stuff, I guess I may have to remedy that. It sounds like his self-titled album would be a good 1st one.

Joe once said, with great players playing with him on the G3, makes him play better, sounds obvious it would any1
sounds like a form of competition right there, cant help some competition in this situation, it's even healthy
however i dont believe you can put one above another at this highest of levels, all amazing at what they do

Narface - Haha, cool stuff... this orchestra will rip when we go on tour, lol...
962 - Heh, thanks man...
Fretslayer - Ya it's awesome Andy is getting more exposure... a Danger Danger cd was included on the top 50 cds from the 80's list in that magazine too. And if you check the latest Guitar One (Battle of the Axes issue), there is a little bit about Rusty Cooley in there...
Jelly Stew - When's Jordan coming out with a new solo album? I enjoy his playing on the LTE album a lot, I'd like to get his new one if Satch and Morse are on it. Are his past two any good? Or will this new one be the master album, in your opinion?
TomSr - Ya, Do the Stu, pretty much said it... Get rid of the actual instrument info you have, then get rid of your address, and write "Plays: (Instrument) (? years)".... hope that helps.
Alexandre - heh, thanks bud!
Joe - Are you and Steve gonna do an album together sometime soon? I can only imagine what that would turn out like! That would be the baddest album ever, lol... Enjoy your tour.
Ok, I need a recommendation for a new cd to get, for when the Satch Tapes comes out. I was thinking of either a Frank Gambale, Mike Stern, or Allan Holdsworth album. I dont have any cds from any of them, so is there one from any of them that is a "must" to get? Much appreciated...
